You reset your password via email 3 times in the last 30 days, including once 30 minutes before you made this loan request. Are you able to prove you are the owner of this account and it is not hacked? I also see that most of your trade history is made up of share of LTCgear which turned out to be a scam (no surprise there). This guy is a known scammer. Stole $550 from a newbie. Stay away, just check his trust rating and the references. That shouldn't stop an escrow transaction. Everyone is safe that way. Escrow solves all problems. You do realize that once you fund escrow you will either be throwing $450 away to hide your identity or your physical address will be public? |

One thing is certain - the burden of proof isn't on ME (or whomever) to show that they DID send bitcoins. The burden of proof is on the VICTIM to prove that they never received goods. As Bitcoins are untraceable to an IP, and a digital good that has no static owner....
....You get the point.
As far as I'm concerned, you got your bitcoins. Prove that you didn't.
He has proved that he sent you a specific address to send the bitcoin to. Unless there is a transaction confirmed by the network for the amount of bitcoin that you owe him to the address he gave you then he has proven that you did not give him the bitcoin as agreed. |

People run away with <$4,000 worth of Bitcoins in group buys that are scams. They run ponzis (WHICH ARE FUCKING ILLEGAL) and run off with the money. Let's not even talk about TradeFortress.
...These people are never prosecuted. Bitcoins aren't something you can chase down. There is no paper trail. There cannot be a theft. You simply are over your head, here.

His password has not changed for at least 30 days so I would highly doubt that his account was compromised. He was also very late recently in repaying marcotheminer.....as in months late |

Welcome to anonymous cryptocurrency. Although since it's just you complaining, I'm not going to get as much of a kick out of this as I did last time I graced this section of the forums.
You don't need to get anyone where the OP lives involved. All he needs to do is contact the local police who would start an investigation into the bank account you told him to deposit funds into. Once that happens your identity will quickly be determined and by your own posts on here you are blatantly admitting to have no intention of giving the OP the bitcoin you sold him. This should be an open and shut case |

Why don't you sign up for something like the bitmixer campaign ? Bitmixer does not allow for negative trust users anymore. I really don't think anyone is going to want to buy the signature space of a scammer. I think there might be one or two campaigns that accept negative trusted members however the pay is much less |

The newbie jail was "closed" because it was felt that deterring legit users from using the forum. The newbie jail (when it was open) forced newbies to make at least 4 posts, and be logged in for at least 4 hours (I think) before they could post out side of beginners and help or off topic.
Now newbies have a 360 second limit between the time they can do an action (log in, send a PM, post a message, report a message, etc). They also can send no more then 5 PMs per hour up to a total of 5 people.
