An update on the L3+ miner... After seeing the market value of these miners increase quite a bit, I decided the best option available was to sell the miner to lock in some sure profits. I did so, and in addition to receiving our spent BTC back at a higher rate, we also received 51 LTC which I will sit on until I find a use for them.

Is there anybody out there?
I'll take them for 0.29 BTC if you include shipping to MJ ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) You got a great deal. Send 0.29 BTC to 168WXhArv7Fasqvi2xm5MQMfLhG18jifMe and PM me the shipping address. Payment sent! Sending details now. Nice pickup Zepher! I have these coins which I paid much more for a few years ago, and they were unfunded. This was a great deal. Thanks hybridsole ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I have been tempted for a while with these, and today the temptation finally gave in. Looking forward to them. Quite surprised they hung around this long really, but it scored me an awesome deal, so no complaints here ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Awesome deals is what I do. killyou72 has requested that escrow be released for these coins and alerted those who purchased. If there are no disputes, I will release the BTC to killyou72 in ~24 hours.

At some kind of minimum, the scammers should be removed from the list. It's bad advertising.
Seems like a slippery slope.

So those periscope-looking things are vents coming out of the roof?? I kept wondering wtf they were Yes, I believe the 2 you're looking at in the picture are for a bathroom vent and my clothes dryer.

My install was also a tad more since I paid to move 2 vents so the panels were contiguous. The SunPower panels also handle albatross poop better than Hyundai panels.
Were the birds actually nesting under there?
I had to pay a little extra to have them vertically installed instead of horizontally (don't ask) to avoid having to relocate any vents. There weren't any birds nesting, but it's a precaution they take out here to keep it from happening.

Got around to taking a picture of the "pigeon-proofing" today. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftalkimg.com%2Fimages%2F2024%2F01%2F11%2F3uUJ2.jpeg&t=663&c=3_LYXQzoGDwmiQ)

It has been rock solid with cool temps. I'm not using a multipool though.

Man these are expensive! If I didn't need to spend money elsewhere I would go for one. So LTC eh, hmm, me thinks buying LTC is a better bet than mining it with such expensive hardware, but what do I know :p
That case can always be made, but compared to other mining devices the L3+ looks very nice from a profitability perspective.

I've been very curious about HVAC cooling use with mining for a while. Have you implemented this yet? I didn't see anything in your pictures. I'd love to hear/see more about this. I think it would be an ideal situation for those living in warmer climates looking for a cheap method of introducing cool fresh air as opposed to sucking in hot air from outside.

I do not recommend Solar for Mining, there is nothing free about the electricity after massive equipment investment. I do recommend Solar for people who use to power their homes long term (15-25 years) especially when their power is >=0.15 cent per KWH.
There are so many positive reasons to go solar... I'd recommend it to anyone who will be living in their home for 8+ years that lives somewhere with a lot of sun and doesn't need financing. When you look at all the incentives, added resale value, tax breaks, and rebates, it's overwhelming how much positive there is in going solar. For the average installation, the authors found that solar panels added a $20,194 premium to the sales price of the house based on repeat sales data.
