13741  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: September 16, 2016, 12:32:33 AM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin based projects? If some of you do, can you contribute what do you do?
For me I do not think ghat it is possible to earn a living for my self with just Bitcoin. I am not making that much money with Bitcoin alone.
That is why I think that it is better to do just Bitcoin on the side.
Good thing you recognize that because it is really hard to earn a living in bitcoin when you do not have the right skills, we are living in an online world where the outcome of our journey depends solely on how we manage our time so if we do not have the quality to succeed better focus on our day job than risking our time in bitcoin without an assurance to earn.

Truth. You only have your skill once you go to war to this online world. You are going to compete with so many people that are also looking for the job. So I say bettet make it a very good skill.

I agree you must be equipped with a lot of skills and talent and as well as your knowledge because you really must be tough with the competition that is already happening in bitcoin. And you must keep on doing some research and as well as keep on learning because technology is keep on innovating so I would say that it is really tough to earn a living with bitcoin.
13742  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: September 16, 2016, 12:20:04 AM
I use bitcoin as currency to buy porn. That's it.

Haha really? You are really buying porn with your bitcoins, why you have to spend your bitcoins with it if they are already free on the net? It is better if you are going to use them too as investment. So you are clearly using it as currency because you are purchasing something in return for a good / service. But for me, I've been using my bitcoins for both.
13743  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where u use bitcoins? on: September 16, 2016, 12:08:12 AM
Hello,

Where do you use bitcoins? First i buy food, medicine, bills
I do not use Bitcoin in that way because I think that it is better to hold on to your Bitcoin. The value of the Bitcoin can always go up.
Because of this it allows us to make a profit if you sell for more then you bought for.

What I am doing with my bitcoins is when my promo in prepaid load already expired I am using bitcoins for re-loading again and buying prepaid load again in my convenience. That is where I am using my bitcoins and as well as when I have still enough bitcoins I used to pay my bills by bitcoins and good thing that it is really making me save a lot of bucks without going to the physical store.
13744  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: September 15, 2016, 11:58:56 PM
At the range of age 25-40 I think. Those are the people who are looking for more money because they are starting a family.  Well, kids wont think about investing all of a sudden and they have their piggy banks. So basically it is those who already have some jobs and want some more.

Well you didn't include to me to your opinion, I'm only 23 years old. I guess the right average age for bitcoin users are 20-50. Because I saw some old man in facebook asking on how he is going to spend his 10 bitcoin. And upon looking to his profile and pictures I assume that he is already an old man aging 50 years old or if I'm mistaken above.
13745  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you like to pay bills using bitcoins while staying at home? on: September 15, 2016, 12:22:58 PM
in my country there are some people that open service so we can pay phone bills, electricity bills, gamecash via bitcoin, so yes it very helpful for me
I can also use this bitcoin easily and also when I wanted to buy load and they also have a rebate so it is really helpful and I can also save money with this.  Wink

Well me too I really enjoying paying bills while I'm athome and good thing that the exchange site I am using are accepting bitcoins. And I am hoping that there are going to a lot of stores that are going to accept bitcoins for real. And because of this I really don't need to go to the physical payment store and going to do some effort for it.
13746  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 15, 2016, 08:07:04 AM
I think you could make a better decision considering diversification, because both have potential, but also problems. And one can compensate for the failure of the other.

Well you are right with it and for me it is really an advantage for all investors if you are going to get engage with both of it.

Many are saying gold is better than bitcoin and others do say bitcoin is better. Well we have their own opinion regarding to this kind of topics.

But for me, instead of choosing only one from them. Get an advantage and do both of it, invest in gold and bitcoin.

Getting both investments would  be possible but  it really depends on your budget or money since it would require big money. Thats why people  would only have  to choose one  instead of  getting both . For me   i would  really choose   bitcoin since we could get on small amounts compare to gold.
Exactly, if you have a lot of money to invest then better invest on both because investment is a great way to make money and I can say that both investment are profitable, depends only the time as bitcoin is good for short term and long term investment but gold is only for long term investment.
Bitcoin is too risky as an investment but it provides us a great promise on the earnings, therefore if we want to have a comfortable future, we need to learn how to take the risk and do the right calculation in order to succeed. Bitcoin is always a good investment for the risk takers.

For me gold is going to be a good investment because the longer you are going to hold gold it is going to increase its price. But I guess the same thing with bitcoin the more and longer you are going to hold and you are going to benefit with once the price is going to reach to higher once. Although for me they are good investments.
13747  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 15, 2016, 07:47:35 AM
I will quit my day job and work for bitcoin if only I can earn triple or quadruple the amount of my current salary .
That is a good condition but you cannot earn that amount if you will not focus your time in the bitcoin world, if you have a job on in a company, for sure you will prioritize your job than your business here, it is all about the taking risk and if you can calculate it right maybe you have a chance. In addition, time management is very important.
this should be the first that we need to learn how to manage our time as btc is fluctuating we cant predict the movement but just like the other mate said quitting day job will be a hard decision only be possible if gaining as much triple of his current salary but that thing is not impossible if you can learn of to invest inside alt trading gaining a lot just needed of proper education and skills to achieve.
Quitting your day job is a complete gamble for your future, you cannot do that if you have a big family that depends you so much. If you have a great amount of savings maybe you can do that but always be cautious and careful of your decision because finding a job again is not that easy.

Exactly! If you are going to quit your full time job you will regret that in the end. If you are just going to live here in my country for sure you are going to see how much it is important to live for your day time job. Once you are going to be jobless it is going to be hard for you to find for another job because most of the companies here are racist.
13748  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 15, 2016, 07:37:56 AM
To achieve this goal in crypto, you would need an initial investment, unless you're very lucky. But you can not depend solely on luck, so the best thing to do is work to earn some money, to then invest.

Everything you said was true but only few highly skilled people can really get rich in crypto. If you are not a good investor you won't be able to achieve this goal.

I agree with you those people who have a broad knowledge in crypto are the ones are able to get rich with bitcoin especially they have a big amount of capital for investing with it. But if you are going to be a totally skilled person that has a lot of talent to offer for a lot of bitcoin people for sure you are going to be liked by a lot of people and that can make you rich.
13749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: September 15, 2016, 07:29:16 AM
The miners are in china because china has the best possible electricity bill because they have the best position in the planet to become miners, so it's understandable that most of the mining happens there. Instead of complaining about chinese centralization, what we should do is find ways to compete against them. If I was rich I would already be doing it.
The miners aren't all in China because of the electricity costs, but it definitely is a factor that helps them to have a larger miner population.

Competition, on the other hand, is a hard thing to do without any sort of native ASIC manufacturer in the west (or wherever) and it is even harder to give miners a reason to keep running without cheap electricity rates.

Majority of the miners are from China that is why many are migrating to China because of their cheap electricity but I don't think they are going to be able to destroy the bitcoin network because of their majority miners are CHinese. It is just going to be destroyed if no one is already using it or probably big group is able to make an adoption to other coin.
13750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin moved above $10,000 USD per coin what would you do? on: September 15, 2016, 07:21:47 AM
Forget owning bitcoins, people will buy Sats. And if they've lucky they may be able to afford a whole bitcoin.
Just like when people invest in Gold, they don't have to buy a whole fucking bullion.

Well for sure no one will going to buy whole bitcoin if the the price is going to reach $10,000. Maybe I can just afford to buy 0.001 by that time because that is the only amount I am able to invest. But for sure if that price is going to happen with bitcoin many bitcoin people are going to get rich easily for just doing nothing but by holding.
13751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: September 15, 2016, 07:01:36 AM
I feel like the only people that truly hate or dislike Bitcoin either don't know how to use it, don't understand it, or got screwed over and lost a lot.

There just needs to be more knowledge on Bitcoin on an easier and more understandable level for the non-tech heads.

I believe that people who hates bitcoin are those people who doesn't really know what bitcoins and next those people who failed with their investments or try to work for bitcoins. And lastly, those people who are getting jealous on what is happening with bitcoins, they are hating it because they don't want to see good things happening in bitcoin.
13752  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: September 15, 2016, 06:54:53 AM
I prefer my bitcoin wallet because it just feels much more secure to me than to be holding my money in the bank.
They don't actually have your money in there you know.  Embarrassed

Fiat is still needed, no matter how you look at it. SOME things have to be purchased using fiat. There's just no way around this.
Agreed fiat is much prefer to used by more people and bitcoin is only for investment that only few people knowing this and that is the advantage of users of bitcoin to people who really do not know about bitcoin.

Bitcoin is also used as currency but for me banks are good too. But I won't choose only one from them because I will going to prefer both of them because we are really enjoying the use of bitcoin as investment as once you have profit you are going to convert that to fiat money and how you are going to store that fiat if there is no bank.
13753  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin worth to you or not... on: September 15, 2016, 06:51:17 AM
In my opinion it is worth, it is a revolutionary way to send and receive money, without intermediaries, in an efficient and reliable way, because it uses blockchain tech.
No doubt in will dominate the online world in the future, bitcoin is an amazing tool to use for online transaction as it is very fast and cheap compared to other payment processor so we are lucky we are on board very early and we are also given the opportunity to invest.
For me, I am already contended that I am earning bitcoin online and bitcoin is worth to me. I hope I will continue to earn in the future so I can grow my savings and soon I will start to invest big on the possible good investment here.

Me too having an opportunity that is giving by bitcoin is already enough to say that bitcoin is really worth it. And also the transactions can we are having in bitcoin is already enough to say that bitcoin is worth it at all because the charging fees are really now even though sometimes the confirmation is taking so long.
13754  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2016, 06:44:56 AM
humans may have a plan but remember God decides. I have a plan to get rich from trade bitcoin. The current plan is to build some satoshi to start trading if I already have a lot to start trading Satoshi bitcoin. Planning at this point that what you want can be realized in the future Smiley

You are right with it, even though we have a lot of plans on how to get rich with bitcoin. But if we have faith in God for sure we are going to become rich easier because if God is going to bless you. No matter the ways you are doing with bitcoin as long as it is legal for sure you are going to get rich with it. But you must work for it because God has the mercy and we must have the effort.
13755  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: September 15, 2016, 06:37:52 AM
We can assume that this year, second  half of year, and first quarter of next  will be crucial for btc price. If we speculate  that on halving with naturally price go up, then massive  sell will come to price will go down, then when things  cool down a little price is up again.

I am hoping that this is going to happen for the next year which is 2017. I hope the effect of halving is going to see by that year. Because with this year, even though a lot of events already happened still this is a good year although I am expecting more and better for the next year to come. Massive adoption is what I am wishing to happen.
Massive adoption will helps to increase the demand of bitcoin and if that will happen the value of bitcoin would also increasing and that is the wish of more users they will took the advantage of buying and selling or trading.

I am pretty sure that mass adoption is going to happen by the year of 2017 and for sure that is going to be a good year for bitcoin. I am just being excited that the price is possibly going to reach up to $800 - $1,000 by that time and I know that many people are going to love bitcoins so it is going to make higher demand for it.
13756  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: September 15, 2016, 04:05:52 AM
No one can give 10 BTC to other  Cheesy

If you'd be a billionaire, you wouldn't really care about that $6k. I've seen people on PrimeDice giving away Bitcoins, so.. Cheesy

Yeah exactly just like think about Bill Gates he is earning millions of dollars daily and for sure a lot of people he's been helping since he have been a successful person. So that is not possible that someone is going to give 10 bitcoins to someone. And if someone is going to give me this, I will just going to keep on holding it.
13757  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: September 15, 2016, 04:04:17 AM
The safe way to grow your bitcoins is by doing signature campaigns, its already said a lot of times but its for sure the safest way you can pick.
The only thing you are investing is spare time so that is pretty nice if you ask me.

I believe that signature campaign is one of a good way to grow your bitcoins but still you are just going to add some up of bitcoins. And you are going to depend to your rates their and you are going to have no chance of getting good profit from it. Especially if you are going to be in low rank you are not going to get good profit with it.
No man , OP wants to grow his bitcoin . He is already in signature campaign (and he is inactive).
Doing signature campaign just add your balances not growing your bitcoin , i think invest is the only way to grow your bitcoin (and once again we don't talk about HYIP or Ponzi) , invest in trading or good ICO is more profitable to grow your bitcoin.

I agree that investing is the only way to grow your bitcoins. But op wants to safe grow it and I can only think of one way to safe grow your bitcoins by just holding it. And I've been doing this because I am holding bitcoins for a long time and I do believe that I will going to get good profit with it if I will going to keep on holding bitcoins.
13758  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 15, 2016, 04:00:09 AM
Why buy, when I can increase them through investing in Forex Paradise ( https://forexparadise.biz/ )?

Cool

How would you support your claim of getting earnings through that Forex Paradise website? How long will it last? Because I'm pretty sure this is ponzi scheme.
Another, is how can you invest to that without buying or earning a capital first?

Yup 99% of those sites are ponzi schemes

So why you are only believing 99% if that website is a ponzi scheme, where did the 1% go? 1% You believe that it is legit?  And I have checked the website and it says that the total deposits for their website is already $100,000,000. I doubt that this is real. It is really hard to trust these kinds of investments it is better to trade.
13759  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 15, 2016, 03:54:04 AM
I still can not spend the coins on real life, because I do not have opportunities for it. In my country many people do not even know what Bitcoin is, but sometimes I'm using it for micro payments online.

Sad to know that there is no way to spend your coins in your country. So I am lucky enough that there are good sites here in my country that do accepts bitcoin. That is why I am enjoying to spend bitcoins in real life for buying some prepaid loads and some times I am using their service to pay my bills, I'm thinking of using it for eating to a restaurant too.
Like what i am doing in my bitcoin i am freely to spend it here in my country because our local bitcoin wallet has a good services offer to each users that is why we are very satisfied to us it.

Same here, thats why its really an advantage for us to have these  kind of services offered with our local wallet  provider . And it would surely exist on other countries  for sure since bitcoin adoption is increasing the the days goes by so that everyone   of bitcoin users would benefited more  on bitcoins usefulness on people lives.

So we are all lucky that we can spend bitcoins in our real life. I've been using bitcoin in my real life the same services just like you are using for a lot of months now. And sometimes I am converting bitcoins into fiat and that is why I can say that I really can spend bitcoins in real life even though I need to convert it, I think that can be considered.
13760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: September 15, 2016, 03:47:29 AM
Both have a similarity, which is the purpose of profit. But with regard to risk, things are very different. Trading has a much lower risk, in addition you can reduce this risks with proper research and trading techniques.
I think they have the same risk, the risk will only depend on the people managing the money, if a certain trader does not do the right research before trading then I would say the risk is high on that scenario the same goes with gambling, I think. They have different approach but both are risky.

Same risk on lossing money indeed but  in trading  you could possibly lessen the risk  with proper knowledge  and good trading pattern. Not same as gambling that you risk your money blindly which is  a different thing  to compare it from trading.  Gambling does  only require luck.

I agree with you, trading is just like gambling but lesser the risk you can get if you know how to trade properly and you are not just going to depend on your luck in trading. You must have proper researching and enough knowledge in it unlike in gambling even you are going to have knowledge on it still the luck is more working on it.
