13761  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for an approximate 12BTC loan. on: January 13, 2015, 02:08:30 PM
How is a lender protected when you don't repay the loan?
13762  Other / Meta / Re: Regarding Ponzi Sites -- Requesting some attention (not another section thread) on: January 13, 2015, 01:50:18 PM
If you ignore the fact that you are running a ponzi (this is a ponzi), then the negative trust is still appropiate.

Your "game" is not fair to players: there is no way to verify that appropiate players are receiving a payout. I haven't looked real closely at how your "game" works, however I assume it determins who gets paid something similar to the early players profit while the later players get nothing. Even if you used the first blocks that confirmed transactions you could easily use your own money (via mixers) to play early on this would make it so the majority of plays would end up loosing.

There is no real way to "verify" bets. In addition to the above you need to be trusted that appropiate players get payout. Even prime dice, which is arguably the most reputable Bitcoin casino here allows players to verify their bets to prove they received appropiate payments.

You are asking players to trust you with large amounts of money while you have no reputation. Mu believe your first post was creating your game. This is very similar to a brand new user asking to be trusted with a short term loan.

You clearly are not new to the forum based on how quickly you made it to meta and how familar you are with the trust system. This means that you are either a scammer (and should not be trusted) or plan on eventually scamming and want to protect your existing accounts reputation when you eventually run away with investor money. I am sure you knew you would probably get negative trust the hour you started your game however, a reputable member could potentially provide a history of "honesty" with their game to get it removed. I somewhat thing it is the former. I somewhat doubt that badbear will confirm or deny this, however I would speculate that you can be linked to either a scammer or are using An IP masking service like tor or a vpn.

There was recently a ponzi that was "honest" with players for a while (a few weeks) and had over 700 BTC move through their address. This built up a lot of confidence with their game allowing them to quickly accumulate large amounts of Bitcoin very quickly which means if they delayed payouts even a short time then they could run away with large amounts of Bitcoin. The end game in these ponzis is to run away once enough confidence is built up.
13763  Other / Meta / Re: Are ponzis not classified as a gambling game? on: January 13, 2015, 06:51:59 AM
If it has a website, it belongs in Gambling. If it does not have a website, it belongs in Games and Rounds.
What about this one. The OP is not asking for anyone to post anything, but is telling investors suckers to send bitcoin to the ponzi address (from a non-shared wallet, like QT or multibit) then the ponzi OP will eventually send money back to the "sending" address.

It does not appear to have a website
13764  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: MultiCoin Ponzi With Jackpot! on: January 13, 2015, 06:51:10 AM
The Chances of the OP running away with your money are great.

All ponzi's eventually will collapse and the operators usually will run away with your money

For more information about how ponzi's are a bad investment see this wikipedia page
13765  Other / Meta / Re: Are ponzis not classified as a gambling game? on: January 13, 2015, 06:42:07 AM
Games  and rounds are designed for giveaways. The ponzis are asking users to report their experiences with their scam ponzi sites.

Games and rounds is for when you need to post an insubstantial post in order to get some kind of prize
13766  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling bitcointalk.org accounts *updated 30 Dec, 2014 on: January 13, 2015, 06:21:09 AM
I don't get it. Why don't people just earn these accounts?
People do not want to wait for the several months up to a year to get a higher ranking account. The higher ranking accounts can potentially earn a lot of money by participating in signature deals.

This might not be a good idea. Since you are a trusted member of the community such an account could potentially be used to impersonate you

Is there a way to permanently change the nickname?
I have no idea, but you might as well create a new account if you wanted a different nickname

I'm obviously going to use a different nickname.  I'm not trying to purchase his nickname.  I am trying to buy the User ID.  That's the whole point.
What is so great about his user ID? What gives it value?

why do you consider a great new service related to bitcoin as "spam"?

I am going a great thing for bitcoin and marketing it in a good way and I leave only happy people in my wake.

I'm a good person but these mods are the only thing holding me back from really making a difference in the bitcoin world.

I am not asking for anything from anyone.

I only offer my help and skills for free and the mods are trying to hold me back.

why don't you post the 1st account of yours that was banned so others can take a look and see what probably caused the original ban

karlb187

I know what everyone will say...

"making multiple posts for the same thing"

but they are not, my service involves creating many bitcoin faucet sites and promoting them. I also make posts promoting my services...free faucet hosting/marketing service, adding faucets to my faucet list, updates about my paid to post bitcoin forum and other updates about my moneyinpjs site.

I am not spamming...I am busy... busy helping to grow the bitcoin community and help people (for free) to earn more money/bitcoin online.

I am just too active of a member for this forum I guess.

I have spent hundreds of hours on this forum only to be treated like sh*t and called a troll.

We need to work together rather than fighting.

We would get more done in the bitcoin world for sure.
From the looks of it, I do see that you had posted a lot. You also created a lot of threads, more then I think most people have.

Briefly looking at your threads, I noticed that some of your posts were solely made to promote one of your other threads or to promote one of your faucets which would generally be considered to be spam

Can we ban newbies from Meta please???  Too much trolling on meta...
if you look at the op's other thread here you will see that his old account was banned (along with the subsequent accounts he created). He is here to appeal his ban(s).

Based on his username it is probably not going to happen as it shows the lack of respect for authority that he likely has and the lack of respect of whoever responds to his PMs he will likely show.
