The early goal was basically a warning to Inter (and to be fair to every other team next season as well) that you can't just slow start or just have even 10 seconds where you are not careful, this team is so good, even one possession mistake will be turned into a goal. Not every team will take advantage of your every miss, they will miss themselves as well, not this team because if you make even one mistake, they are there to turn that into a goal.

I think after getting FA cup, the most important thing for City right now that they are about to win all the three big cups and that doesn't happen all that often, sure City wins the league pretty often, but not FA cup, and the fact that they have both of them this season is a proof that they will try their very best to get UCL as well, and they most certainly will.

Man City really wants this. They also have the confidence to back it up. Pep has also said it in an interview that they have to win the champions league. He said since people said they have to win the champions league first before they can be regarded as a great club, then he has no other option but to win it.
Whenever we see Man City in this confident mood, nothing stops them till they achieve what itvis they want to achieve. I feel the Champions league final is going to look somehow like the FA cup final. Inter Milan will put up a fight. They will be dominated and City would have majority of the possession but they won't make it easy for City. But eventually Man City is going to come out in top.
As far as I'm concerned Manchester City as treble winners.

The Union Berlin team is working hard to improve itself day by day. It remains to be seen how this team will perform next season. Because there is no chance to secure the title this season.

I am really impressed with Union Berlin and I'm having high hopes for them next season. It's not like I expect them to win the league or get to the final of the champions league but I just want to see them fight for it as they fought this season.
It's not easy for a club like that to get to the champions league. They had to fight for it week in, week out. It wasn't easy. You need a certain degree of consistency is needed to be able to do well in the league.
All Union Berlin needs now is to strengthen their squad and work on areas they need to do they can be better than they were this season.

The saddest thing if there will always be a winner and loser. That being said that if whatever the result from the match, both of parties shall have accepted it as the best result. I hope that if the referee could be fair in the match between city vs intermilan.
The incident that happened during the match between sevilla vs roma shall not be repeated again. Ataturk stadium gonna be the place where any supporters from intermilan and manchester city were singing their chants to support their favorite clubs.

I can't even wait for that moment to come. that's gonna be a crazy moment for sure.

I would be openly be rooting for Manchester City in that match. Both Inter and City deserve the trophy for even getting to this point, but a part of me feels Man City deserve it better. They've worked hard over the years and have been failing to win the prestigious trophy but now they have a very big chance.
People keep looking down on Man City. They believe Man City is successful because they have money and they will never be able to win the champions league. It's lame I know, but I'll like them to be proved wrong.
Man City under the leadership of Pep have taken time to build a squad that can get them here. They are the best team in Europe at the moment. They are always consistent every season. They really deserve this.

I remember very well how Allegri was attacked, by everyone for a disastrous start
but he had a lot of injuries (still to understand why)
instead he was able to masterfully manage a very difficult season
from here you can see the skill of a coach

Letting Allegri go won't be a very bad thing. He has done a lot for Juventus and he should be rewarded with trust, but I just don't have trust in Allegri no more as far as Juventus is concerned. I feel he cant offer more than he already has. Even if the club signs more players for him, they will still struggle.
Juventus didn't play exceptionally well under Allegri. They managed to win games. For Juventus to come back to what they once was, they have to start playing like they once did and sadly, Allegri cant give them that, not with the kind of players Juventus can afford right now.
Leaving Allegri at Juventus would not also be a bad idea but if it were left to me, I would go for someone with new ideas, someone with a different philosophy.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 02, 2023, 08:10:24 AM
What you have suggested is good but I don't think Guardiola would so much pamper players because of the Champions League. These guys are used to playing multiple matches, not to talk of the UCL final that is a week after the match against Man U tomorrow. Both Inter Milan and Man U are not matches for the present Man City, Pep would manage his team well and they will just do their best as they mostly do.

This is exactly how I see it. The champions league final is a week away. Pep is going to field his best team against Manchester United.
I don't think the FA cup final will be a very difficult one for Manchester City. Man United will play well and play their best but they won't be able to stop Man City. Man City are already dreaming of winning the treble this season so I don't see them gambling any game for the other. . Besides, a bird at hand is better than many in the forest. Man City will like to win the FA cup first so even if they lose the Champions league, they'll have the FA cup in their cabinet.
I can't wait for tomorrow, I'm excited to see how Ten Hag will set up and play against Pep in a final.

I am still bothered with managers not doing dual job, that should be more common. I know that it is going to be tough job for sure but that doesn't mean that we are not going to end up with that being a good idea for them. Ancelotti at the head of Brazil and Real Madrid at the same time would be an ideal situation without a doubt.

It is going to be a bit influencer on the players he already has at Real, he would favor them a lot more and that's a trouble, but at the same time they would be able to actually end up with something better for the long term since players would know what their manager wants from them at the club so it would help them at the national team as well. All in all dual job should start already.

I'd really like to know why you feel this would be a good idea. Because the reasons you have are not reasonable enough for a club or national team to share it's manager..
First, the manager's attention will be divided. He can't focus on both teams a hundred percent. Maybe you feel it's only during international breaks that the managers of national teams work which is not true. They work round the clock too just like club managers.
The watch the players of their national team play for their various clubs so they'll know who to call up for a particular tournament. It's going to be a disaster for all the parties involved. Real Madrid, Brazil and Ancelotti will all be in a big mess.
Then there's also the fact that you didn't mention a small team. It's Real Madrid. A team of that magnitude. A tea fighting for the champions league, La Liga, Copa del Rey. Then Brazil. This is actually funny when I think about it.
It's not going to work. Neither team will even agree to that.

I don’t think there’s any better offer for him than this now and it’ll not be a great idea for him not to accept this offer. I myself wouldn’t want him to go back and play for Barcelona again, he had done his best for the club, and going back there might not be fruitful for him like before.

The entire Barcelona team will want to rely on him as though the Messiah is back to help them achieve whatever they want, and if he underperforms beyond their expectations, he’ll be blamed for everything and would regret his decision of returning to the club.

Leo Messi going back to Barcelona is not such a bad thing. If the club can afford him and both parties can come to an agreement then it's totally fine. Messi didn't leave there in the best terms, he didn't get the kind of send off he deserved so going there for one last ride ain't such a bad thing.
Messi still got a lot to offer at top level and going to Asia or America is not really a good look. He still wants to play in another Copa America next year and for him to be that he has to be at his best. The management of Barcelona is not the same as it was before. They will build a good team instead of just relying on Messi like they previously did.

Totally not a fan of relegation. I don't like HSV but I am always rooting for the lower league team in these events.Relegation in my eyes is so unfair. A team that played shit the whole season can safe it in 2 games while a team that played good the whole season will get punished if they don't deliver in those 2 crucial games.

Also, higher league teams almost always have a bigger budget, that's what makes it even more unfair.

Now I think is the 15th season they are doing this nonsense. And why? So that they can make a little more money with 2 more televised games per league. Bravo.

I agree with this. I have never been a fan of it.
I don't see any reason why the three lowest teams in the Bundesliga get relegated while the three top teams in the 2 Bundesliga get promoted. Better still, the play off can be between the third and fourth team on the table of the 2nd Bundesliga. It is unfair for a team to burst their ass off all season only to lose to someone else at the bottom of the table. It doesn't tell the clearer picture of the teams.
Now Stuggarts have won 3-0 so I don't see how Hamburger is going to overtune that.
1389  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 01, 2023, 09:13:38 PM
According to the statistics of the last 5 matches, the difference between these two teams is not much. Because Juventus have won just one of their last 5 matches while Milan have won two of their last five. However, both teams have lost three matches. Milan is trying to keep their winning streak which is a good sign. With a win in their last match, they occupy the 4th place in the points table with 67 points. On the other hand, Juventus is in the 7th position. There is not much difference in the points table between Milan and Internazionale. This team is in third position with 69 points.

I predicted Juventus to win that game before the sanctions of Juventus were reversed. Juventus was in God spirit during that period and even though they were not playing really well, they still found a way to win game. But since they got the point deduction for the second time, they have been worst.
Juve still have a chance to qualify for the Europa leagueso they still have something to play for. Roma have missed out in an opportunity to play the champions league by losing the Europa final to Sevilla so they might not want to miss out on the. Europa league too but I guess anything is possible.
Juventus might not even have the right motivation to win anymore because for a minute it seemed certain that they'll play champions league football and the extra minute they are battling to make the Europa league.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 01, 2023, 06:03:37 PM
I agree that Arsenal should be happy, they got a lot of money for being 2nd in the premier league, and they will get al ot for being in UCL as well and next season if they go out of the groups which I assume they probably will, then they will make a lot more. Combine all these together and they should be capable of winning something much bigger next season and maybe they can do great transfers considering how much money they are going to make.

All these thing should matter because it will benefit them and it would be a lot better. Buying just 1 superstar alone would make it so much better, don't get couple of good players, get one amazing player, like 100+ million player, that is what Arsenal needs without a doubt, they need a superstar.

To me Arsenal should not be happy for not winning the league. I know they are rebuilding but they should stop seeing themselves as a small team. They had all it took to win the league and they bottled it. Same thing with Dortmund.
They make enough money to reinforce their team and sign the right players.
They need a couple of very good players. Getting just one world class player is a big mistake. They need squad depth. They will be playing in a lot competitions next season and they need to focus on all. They should not make the same mistake they did this season. This season they focused only in the EPL which backfired. They also didn't have enough quality so when players got injured and fatigue, there were no replacement.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 31, 2023, 09:12:57 PM
I don't think Pochettino is in any way taking any risk because he decided to join Chelsea as their new coach. Pochettino is familiar with the style of play in the premier League having coached Tottenham Hotspur four years and has gathered so much experience in England he can adapt with Chelsea pattern and he can help to fix the poor performance issues of Chelsea if given funds to get some good players to the team especially a good striker because Chelsea is lacking a good striker right now considering the number of goals they recorded in the just concluded season. Pochettino will continue his attacking pattern with Chelsea of he's to fix the problems there and with good attacking style, Chelsea's revival is certain.

I highly doubt that Pochettino will be a good coach for Chelsea. I know he has the experience of the premier league and all, but so did Lampard, so did Potter. Pochettino has had time in the Premier league with Tottenham and I cant say I was impressed with his time there. He didn't win a single trophy with them. He might make Chelsea play better than they did under their two last coaches but I don't think they will be in the top four. At most they will make it to Europa.
Poch is not known for rebuilding and Chelsea needs someone that can manage potential.

This season, familiar clubs in the English Premier League were demoted. Leicester will not compete in the 2023/2024 season, which is a disappointment. The club's total numbers are 9W 7D 22L, making this one of the Foxes' most unsuccessful seasons. More sad to see most of their stars exiting the club one by one. Youri Tielemans, the Belgium international, has decided to leave Leicester City as a free agent. The Foxes were relegated this season, and we don't expect to see any major names in the championship. Clubs interested in attacking midfielder,  Tielemans have not yet decided on a club.

A lot of Leicester City players are going to leave the club this summer. They have very good players and I really cannot tell why they had such a bad season.
Tielemans will just be one of them. He will most likely not be short of suitors. He is a very good player, among the best in the league and he will most likely be going to a premier league club. Newcastle is a club that would like to have him.
Players like Madison will most most likely leave the club too. I dont know if Vardy will leave but their are teams that would like to have him. Barnes, Preat, Iheanacho are players that could also leave.

Yes Roma only have two key to win this cup, one of them its Mourinho, and the other one its Dybala, they dont have much more, they rely on this two persons.

Sevilla its much more solid in this amtches but its a unique match so lets see what happen.

And Dybala just scored. I predicted Sevilla to win and my prediction is still open but its going t very difficult for Sevilla to come back from this game. The match has be fairly even and both teams still have a chance to win, but we all know who Mourinho is. If Mourinho scores you, it will be very difficult for any team to come back.
The second half will see Sevilla attack more while Roma will be on the defending side.
To me, Roma's game plan has worked. it was just to score first and then defend and wait for the counter so they can score again. Let's see how the second half goes.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: May 31, 2023, 07:41:02 PM
I don't really think sevella team is aiming to improve their position in the standings because their focus is on the European league final, also they are away from European competesions spots so there is no point on getting better position

Sevilla as a team will always want to get higher up on the table. They took the league also serious too. They were really bad in the league before they picked form. The game they have is today and they have the final game of the season over the weekend, so their Europa game will not affect them. If they win their weekend game, they have an opportunity to get to go higher up on the table. They play Sociedad that have already qualified for the champions league.

Schalke couldn't save themselves from relegating directly. They still had a chance to at least join play-out games on the final week. Getting a win against Leipzig was going to be enough to do that but they couldn't show a satisfying level of performance and lost that game as well. After watching them in the 2nd Bundesliga I thought they would be better here this time.

However we saw nothing different than Schalke in general. There was a time period they started to get better results which gave them the chance to fight for play-out before the end. But they wasted it as well.

That period they got better I really had high hopes for them. First they where at a point where it seemed certain that they'll get relegated, then they picked up a little form at a point towards the end of the season and I thought that would be it, but I guess I was wrong.
I knew they were not going to be able to win Leipzig. They should focus more on themselves now and get better in the  2nd Bundesliga.
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: May 31, 2023, 09:19:54 AM
I also think so, now almost every line of Inter players already have almost even quality and performance, so if there are some core players who are absent they can be covered by other players.
Inzaghi has often used a 3-5-2 formation this season but I see it has been quite effective so far and even Inter Milan's performance lately has been very consistent, with a 3-5-2 formation it is possible for them to play defensively and will rely on counterattacks. final match against Man City.
The 3-5-2 formation is a very good formation if utilized properly.
The formations gives you four defenders, five midfielders and four attackers. The three central defenders will be supported by the two wing backs when they're defending. The wing backs also join in attack and also support the midfield. If the wing backs  are very good on that day they Inter will have a chance.
But knowing Pep he would find a way to nullify those wing backs.

while Manchester City is difficult to predict, they are very strong this season I can even say that this team this season is quite perfect with the quality of the players and the tactics of the coach are quite suitable.
it's difficult for Inter Milan to rival them, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.
I just hope that the final match will be fierce and exciting and even I hope that a million things happen.

It's possible for Inter to win but its going to be very difficult for them to do so. Manchester City play really well and they know how t play every opponent the face. They worked really hard convincing to get here and I don't think they will waste this chance again like they did against Chelsea.

Finally, Primer League season 2022/23 have been over and Manchester City success won the tittle three time a row, this season excited with unpredictable teams Leicester City have relegated to Championship on last games after over winning over Bournemouth. Another surprised with Primer League top fourth standings position where Liverpool have absent in Champion League and the underdog team Newcastle United will participants in Champion League next season after success finish on 4th standings.

Lets waiting two months later with Primer League season 2023/24 will have another excited and how possibilities with Manchester City continues their dominance winning again four time in a row?

Leicester City gave Rogers too much time even though  he was not actually  doing a decisive job for the club.Ever since they got promoted to the premier league 2015  this is the worst season for Leicester City,  during the stay they won the Premier league and also the fa Cup.  But with the relegation most players  will want to play for big clubs.  The Championship also will start soon Leicester can be back if they put in more energy but that I know  will not happen or occur smoothly.

I still can't believe that Napoli ended up being that much better than everyone else. Nobody got even remotely close to them and they still beat everyone even after guaranteed that they would be the champions.

I understand they built a good team and I can see how they become champions, that's not the part I am shocked about, every season there is a champion, that part is normal, the part I am shocked that a team that wasn't this good last year, ended up being not only champion but at one point got closer to 20 points difference, over 15+ point difference when the season is over. That alone is a huge deal and I can't see how they managed to be that much dominant, it is definitely something they even themselves probably didn't see coming before the season started.

Isn't consistency interesting and sweet to behold with the eyes,  Napoli did week in week out to make sure they achieve what they missed out last season.  If they had won some vital games the lead would have been extended than it currently is.
But next season such performance will not be seen because they will sell some big names and we'll see some new names show casing for the club. The head coach too has plans off leaving. They did with determination do not forget they should have won the league too last season but they really let it slip before them.

Joao Felix is no longer on the target list for Chelsea's main squad due to Pochettino decision, so we need to know what steps Pochettino really wants in overhauling the composition of Chelsea's players for next season. Moreover, from a game perspective, it is really needed where Chelsea should have an ideal place in the Premier League. After Joao Felix, I'm sure there are still many players that Pochettino will throw away, one of which might be Mudryk who isn't too promising for the future of The Blues.

Glad to see he will back to the atletico madrid again soon. This guy was over rated in my opinion. Felix's performance was not as good as loaned striker owner by chelsea, lukaku. I remind you that if chelsea is also having nkuku from leipzig.

Chelsea had some good strikers. Felix is not needed in the club. His performance is also very bad at this moment. Poche was thinking about which player that must be/not be included on its plan.

There's the possible plan by pochettino

- Bring back lukaku
- Buy lautaro from intermilan
- Creating duet betwen lukaku/lautaro or Nkuku/lautaro

I think that plot was making sense, Im happy felix backs to the atletico madrid.

Signing Lukaku and Lauturo Martinez would put players like Madueke, Borja Nkuku at risk,  like this is not making sense,  you have to take care of the pile of players in the club currently,  filter the good ones and the ones the coach would want to work with. Felix wasn't overated the bad and flaws of chelsea also affected him. Back to Atm he will give his best. Pochetino has already started listing player he will work with and let free for the transfer.

People don't understand how hunting dogs act once they get a trail on their prey, there is no escape, and that is what Manchester City can and will do to inter Milan. Everyone is excited about the game, and Inter Milan fans will be calling themselves Victor when they don't know what Man City is capable of doing. the game is going to be bloody, I just can't wait for the out of the game next month, and the most exited are the manchester city fans.

I'm so certain that Man City will win bot Man United and Inter. These their recent form can't fool me. If they had not won the league already they would have gotten full points from those two previous games.
Manchester is just using the period to cool off and prepare for the main event. They really want it this season, even Pep wants it so badly. Pep does not like the way people talk about Man City and he wants to prove them wrong.
Man United and Inter Milan will try, but they won't be able to stop this Man City team. They're winning it all this season.
