I think Felix has performed better than Mudryk, who has never scored a single goal at Chelsea. This indicates that the players who were bought expensive don't have many contributions, so I doubt Mudryk will perform well next season.

Yes, from the start, Joao Felix was a player on loan when he was brought in from Atletico Madrid this season. Joao Felix is one of these guys who will probably have played for 10 different clubs at the end of his career. Don't forget that Atletico Madrid could have sold him for 150 million in 2020. His market value dropped significantly and constantly. He is too inconsistent and as you said, he is probably never worth the money that has been paid and offered for him. Maybe it will now finally work out for him when he goes back to Atletico, but there is a reason that he was allowed to leave and go to Chelsea as a loan player. Atletico paid over 120 million for him and now he is worth around 40 million.

Most of them came to the club with the expectation that they will be playing in the champions league and some of them came from top clubs. Chelsea have started their next season plan on a good note by bringing in an experienced coach but the have to be patient with him. But Joao Felix at least contributed by recording 4 goals during the bad season experienced by Chelsea and it seems that Atletico really need his services again to navigate all competitions next season. After all, even if Joao Felix stayed he would not be able to appear in the champions league if he was with Chelsea and it seems that Pochettino's decision helped him to return to Atletico.

But I'm still quite surprised by Chelsea's poor performance and the London city team is still under repair, why did he choose to stay huh? does he feel compatible with his colleagues at chelsea. If that is true, then i also agree that this makes totally sense from the perspective of FC Chelsea. Joao Felix has not really performed that well during his stay in London. As far as i know FC Chelsea does not have a buy option for him in his loaning contract. Given the fact, that he did not rally show convincing performances they could maybe get him for relatively cheap because his market value is now down to 50 M€. That being said, if they are not convinced, that he will help them then they should buy him even if he is pretty cheap.

Out of all the Chelsea front line players, I prefer Felix over the rest. maybe if given better time with a different style of training, Joao Felix will be able to show his best performance. unfortunately, Felix will be sent home to Atletico Madrid because he is a loan player. plus, Felix's loan contract is too expensive. maybe that's why Pochettino doesn't include Joao Felix in his squad next season. because to patent it as a Chelsea player, Altetico will not let it go for a cheap price.

It's not about the fees; ATM was willing to take a lower payment because they wanted him gone, and the Chelsea owners were willing to pay. Felix is an exceptional player, but he is a poor team player; he is the type of player that prioritizes himself over his teammates, and there were numerous occasions when he could have set up his teammates for goals but instead chose to play it wide. I like him a lot, but if the coach says he's not a good fit for his system, there's nothing we can do as supporters; we have to support the coach's choice and trust the process.
