Bitcoin price balik na ulet sa 20k$ range simula ng which is the previous all time noong 2017. Isa na siguro ako sa mga nagbenta ng bitcoin noong patuloy ang pagbaba ng presyo ng bitcoin sa market, then i buyback a small amount ulet nung bumagsak na ito around less around 16k$.   Seems like its a good start ulet lalo na sa mga nagkalat na bad news about sa cryptocurrency lalo na sa mga scam projects plus ung pagsasara ng FTX for sure maraming mga investors ang medjo dumistansya muna pagdating sa cryptocurrency dahil dito, at marami ding mga baguhan ang nadiscourage. Pero for sure dahil sa bounce back ng price ng bitcoin marami ang nagprofit kung naginvest sila at naghold. I think it was a good movement sa market but for sure babagsak pa rin ang presyo ng bitcoin ang maglalaro parin sa ganoong price range. Do you have any tips how to mingle on Bitcointalk with my phone?
The forum works great on my phone, I'm using an android, and the only issue was the small screen compared to a desktop. But zooming in will solve that issue and you could navigate easily with that, It's convenient for me just to use a desktop or laptop since I could easily type and focus on it. But I guess using a smartphone just has its advantage and disadvantage, I would still use my smartphone because its portable and you could bring it anywhere you want. |

This topic is very simple but there are many people who don't know that this warning can be turned off and I couldn't find any previous topic about this. Well, that's useful  Everyone for sure is annoyed by this notification, especially when you finish your post then all of a sudden when you clicked the post button it will not go through, then you need to click the post button again. I remember there are times that I lost my post since I thought my post go through then I need to retype it again which is annoying. But thinking about the notification it reminds you that there was a new message posted in a thread and you could base your post or maybe reply to that new post, I think it's actually useful and I will not disable that notification. Thanks @OP I'm not aware if this forum has such feature, also hide user's avatar and signature too.
For me, turn off the new replies isn't good because posting in this forum isn't a competition to create the fastest post, you're need to create a high quality post and if there's user who beat you above, it mean you need to review his post and if he wrote something wrong, you can correct it.
I think if there's above member who have same opinion with your post, you're shouldn't to post it since it just make spam in this forum.

Definitely, kaya kahit na medyo alanganin ako dito sa SIM Registration, thinking sa mga cases like this, naiisip ko na kailangan na nga talaga na ang bawat sim ay maregister para matrace itong mga kolokoy na itong malakas mangscam.
Sana iimplement nila ang pagpirma ng KYC sa pagbili ng sim card, hindi iyong bili sim muna then register dapat, kasabay ang pagregister ng pagbili ng sim.
Sa mga progressive at first world countries, isa ito sa meron sila at lahat ng citizens nila registered ang mga sim cards. Kaya magandang hakbang to sa government natin na isakatuparan na ito kasi parang last administration ata ito na propose pero hindi na approve kasi damay pati mga social media accounts at ibang online accounts, inalis muna yun at tama na sim lang ang nasa registration para itong mga text spams at scams na yan matrace at matigil. Sa ngayon, mukhang okay ang implementation kahit na nagkaroon ng aberya nitong nakaraan, base lang sa experience ko, di na ako masyado nakakareceive ng spam text. Sa tingin ko hindi pa handa ang government at ang mga tele company para sa ganito kalaking hakbang maraming problem ang mga teleco at sa tingin ko dagdag ito sa malaking problema, lalo na kung magleleak ang mga information na ito ay malaking problema para sa kanila. Pero lets see kung paano nila mahahandle ito ngayon start na ang registration ng sims, sigurado nagkakagulo na or baka mapuno na ang mga database nila, hindi ko pa sinusubukan magregister dahil malamang ay madodown ang kanilang website, at yun na nga ang aking nababalitaan kaya marami sa mgga kakilala ko na nagreregister kapag madaling araw dahil mabilis daw kaysa sa umaga. Nakakatakot lang dahil laganat ang mga fake websites,phishings etc dahil sa sim card registration marami na rin akong mga post na nakikita sa facebook kung saan nasscam ang kanilang funds lalo na sa Gcash dahil madali lamang makuha ang OTP or mahack ang gcash sa isang text laman kung walang sapat na kaalaman ang gumagamit nito. Mag double ingat tayo sigurado ay maraming ibat ibang paraan nanaman ang gagawin ng mga scammers para makapandaya ng tao. Maganda sana ang sim card registration dahil malaki ang maiiwasan nila lalo na sa mga scammers online, ngunit hihintayin ko muna kung magwowork ba ito, alam naman naten ang systema dito sa pilipinas, kung effective ang ito sana ay mahule ang mga scammers etc sa pamamagitan ng pagtatrace ng mga sim card nila. Ang inaalala ko lang ay baka madaling mabutasan ang registration nila paano kung fake ang ID etc. or paano kung maraming reports hahanapin ba talaga or mapapanagot ba talaga ang mga nakaregister dito. |

I was wondering if there could still be any safe centralised exchange in the blockchain industry. Of lately lots have been unveiling itself and centralisedexchanges are at the end of it all. Does it mean that these centralised exchanges that are in existence lacks the capability to safeguard assets and funds after attracting investors and traders to their platforms for engagement and activities?
How do you explain these things to the people whom have entrusted their funds and assets to you for safe keeping hoping that what they gave to you is under safe care only to wake up to a sad news of their assets being stolen by hackers. How do you explain all these.
At first identifying the problem is a basic course for rendering solutions. If these problems are not identified immediately by the exchanges for quick remedy then who's to be blamed for it. Do they really do constant check on their service to know their lapses, if they do, do they identify it immediately with utmost attention? Do they do a constant check and evaluation on their staff and mechanisms.
With all these said, what are your opinions on this subject matter as I feel this needs to be looked into for possible measures to be taken for so as to further prevent or minimise the rate at which exchanges get hacked or being careless with investors and traders funds.
For sure if you are familiar with cryptocurrency you know the deal of these cryptocurrency exchanges, investing in these cryptocurrency exchanges always has its risk since you don't have control over your investments or your funds/cryptocurrency. The same as the risk of investing in cryptocurrency when the market is down the company or the exchanges are holding as well so they also lose funds when the market is low. Most of the exchanges end up in bankruptcy since they can't pay the users when the market is down, and their liquidity or cash flow was risky because they depend on their investors or users. So there was no safe centralized exchange, but maybe there is less risk if you invest in big exchanges or top exchanges since they have a bigger pot of funds compared to others. |

Most web wallets are custodial and even the most popular web wallet, blockchain.com which gives you access to your keys is still close source and vulnerable to hacks. You can use electrum for your daily transactions. AS per my understanding, we can go offline and generate keys on Bitaddress.org. am i correct and is it Good?
Only what you need is to download the source code (ZIP) from https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org, use it on an offline browser like Firefox on an airgapped device. After you download the source code, restart your computer, open the ZIP file and use its html on the offline browser. This is the purpose of a hardware wallet, in a way you your private key can still remain almost offline and be able to make frequent transactions. Why Coinbase? Coinbase is a custodial wallet. I do not think any Coinbase app can even handle batch (paying to many) payment. For online wallet, why web wallet when there are better online ones like Electrum and Bluewallet. Web wallets are the most vulnerable and non recommended wallet to use. I agree with that, my mistake I mean I would rather use a non-custodial wallet like electrum than use coinbase or any web wallet when making a lot of transactions since it could easily be done on electrum and would cost less when it comes to transaction fees. I guess these paper wallets is just for people that are very careful on their investment the one that is going to buy put it in the paper wallet and forget about it.
If the goal is for long-term investment, I don't recommend using a paper wallet, as some of the disadvantages of a paper wallet have been mentioned above. I get your point since you could have an issue when it comes to long-term, maybe there are other ways like imprinting it to metal since that's what they do most of the time but it mostly depends on how the owner takes care of it. |

What matters is that your private key(s) shouldn't connect to the internet, so your wallet is secure and protected against hackers. Paper wallet is recommended because your keys are on a paper and there is no way for a hacker to access your paper. Take note that if you don't generate your paper wallet properly, it wouldn't provide the security it should. For example, if you generate your paper wallet using an unsafe tool, it's possible that all your fund is stolen. Or if you generate your keys on an online computer, it wouldn't be a cold storage and wouldn't have a big difference with an online wallet. This paper wallet is not connected to the internet so it is pretty much safe from hackers since they can't access it unless they take it from you physically. You just need to watch out for how you generate your paper wallet since there are so many ways as wells in creating a paper wallet. Hackers could use other methods when you were just creating your wallet in order to access your paper wallet. Also, since it is paper you need to be careful on handling it like:

Not too quite long I had a section in my home where I had to discuss with some of my neighbors about cryptocurrency/bitcoin and to an extent explained to them how the industry operates and the benefits it can offer. But this is not the actual point of my discussion anyway.
The thing here is that one of the person's I had that round table discussion with was to my oblivion doing some personal research privately about bitcoin based on all she has been told about it for the past many days after that very discussion. And so yesterday she came to me asking that I should assist her in purchasing bitcoin worth about $160 as she is avoiding on making mistake by doing it by herself alone since it's her first time. After every process and the said amount of bitcoin was purchased successfully into her account, immediately there was this expression of the feeling of joy the lady expressed with a wide smiles that seem unending and I was amazed at such level of excitement she showed.
Then after she left, I started asking myself, like did I also acted same way when I first got my own bitcoin or is the lady just been overwhelmed knowing she now own a certain amount of bitcoin or am I missing something as to why she reacted the way she did?

It is possible since the market is unpredictable, most of the time, if there is a huge movement in the market most likely the price, could easily skyrocket, and then suddenly people become interested again in cryptocurrency and want to invest their money in it. But at the same time, it is not that easy even though cryptocurrency is volatile and could quickly skyrocket it doesn't mean that it is going to happen, It is possible but it doesn't mean that it is going to happen. On how the market moves at this moment I think the bear market is going to stay and could take years to become we experience the next bull run. Slowly I could see a lot of cryptocurrency news and I can see that it's gaining momentum at the moment, It is going to recover soon for sure. |
