1381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are research on altcoins for long term investment worth it?? on: April 30, 2020, 03:14:09 AM
It is true i think doing that to new altcoins is such wasting of time. The risk for losing money is high and no guarantee that project will run smoothly. I think the safest ways is invest on bitcoin or etheruem. You can earns profit from there.
Yes. Research is not a 100% guarantee that you will see good results at the end of the project. To be more practical, play safe by investing on bitcoin or ethereum because for sure, both of them will give profits in the long run. Other altcoins are still a waste of time since most of them still go to zero value after some time.
Investing in new project is not suitable to be choose for long term investment you'll ge a lot of lose in it. Choosing new project for short term investment is more suitable. Even, you aren't greedy you will get a lot of profit in it, like has happened a few times ago. Steem's developer has decided to hardfork and the result hive is new hardfork for steem coin. The hive coin is being listed on binance exchange so as there are a lot of people who buy this coin as much as he can. But as you can see now its price is increasing, it that mean the most investor has sold the coin to avoid a dump.
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont sell off because of the period on: April 30, 2020, 02:11:08 AM
I'll be agree if there is someone who have a bunch of altcoins in their wallet and with that amount he can buy 1 or at least 0.7 BTC then I'll suggest to him to buy bitcoin immediatelly.

But when he just have a few altcoin and the amount can't be able to buy bitcoin 0.1 or at least 0.7 bitcoin then I won't suggested to him to buy bitcoin but I'll suggest him to hold altcoin as long as the altcoin is potential.

Indeed, investing in bitcoin is really interesting because we can see how much profit that will get. But if I have for just 0.1 bitcoin I'll sell it and buy some potential altcoin like ETH. With that amount we can be able to buy at least 4 ETH and if I compare holding 0.1 btc and 4 ETH I'll choose 4 ETH because it will profitable for this time.
but with the small amount of it
1383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why we look for a new project for investment purpose? on: April 29, 2020, 11:12:37 PM
You can check it in bounties section here is  the link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

There are a lot of project who try to raise the fund for the development of the project.

If you interested you can check one by one, but you need to know how to differentiate the project scam and legit project, you can use the search feature to know it (there are some guidelines to know it)

Be carefull as well with new project, the project may got hype and make its price is up drastically but don't be happy of it because the pricr mostly will decrease in a few times.
1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing VS IEO on: April 29, 2020, 11:06:31 PM
What do you think are the advantages of doing an IEO vs simply listing a token in a exchange?
Through IEO you don't need to spend your effort to see the token is being traded because when the pre sale is done the token will be traded on the exchange.

But, when you have a project you need a lot of effort. Like you have to convince the investor that the project will be successful and the token will be traded on the exchange. After that, you have to ask to some exchange to list your project and being traded there and you may need to spend money in it.
1385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: He Lost His Investment. See what Happened! on: April 29, 2020, 10:42:08 PM
I will avoid it, giving money to some expert to trade is the worst idea. We can do it, we can trade with our own strategy and the chance to get lose is small because we will be prepare and check in detail our analyst.

And I just thinking tradinh by myself will make me aware and try hard to incrase a knowledge against trading and it will be usefull for ourlives.

Especially in this sitaution, when the economic situation is bad and many companies who decided to cut of a lot of employes we will comfortable to face it. We still have a chance to gain money to meet our daily live.
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just hit $8000 today and dropped right back on: April 29, 2020, 10:29:45 PM
From the recent development recorded today about Bitcoin hitting $8000 and dropped back to 7000+, will it break through the $8000 or dump back to maybe 5k what is the prediction going to look like. Are we expecting it to Spike to 10k? What did you notice about this and what is your opinion towards this recent development? Cheers
The target most of trader/invstor are to see bitcoin price reach to $8200 first, if its price touch $8200 then we will see the price will up and we can see it right now. But if bitcoin price fail to reach $8200 and just stable at $7800-$8000 we will see bitcoin price will fall to the lower price. Seem like it is just an injection for halving event. We will see a bull run will comes soon.
1387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance vs Coinbase Pro on: April 29, 2020, 10:23:04 PM
I agree to someone who say that most trader/crypto user aren't aware against it. You may need to search some thread on this forum who ask the reputable exchange that can be used by newbies or by most people they will anwer that binance is the best to trade.

So, at least they need comfortable when they use a platform to trade. No matter how much fees that will be spend they will pay for it. Because we spend money on the place that we don't know where it is, and a suggestion form most people will be choosen here compared they found a service although they have a low fee but there is no many people who suggested to trade in it.
1388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: list of bounties good quality {review} on: April 29, 2020, 02:57:06 PM
hello everyone, here I found a new bounty campaign, they pay with btc, but there is no escrow maybe they pay directly into their platform, is this bounty cock here?

check here for more details : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239078.0
I don't think this is a good bounty since this campaign wasn't in the right section. As you may know all bounty campaign especially signature campaign which paid in bitcoin will open the thread on this board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0 it shouldn't be in altcoin bounties section.

OXBTC is cloud mining site and I tried to looking for some information about OXBTC and I found this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1732068.0 . Actually, not all bounty/signature have an escrow to distribute the reward, like a few months ago there was a signature campaign which paid in bitcoin and they didn't use an escrow to distribute the payment. But until now the campaign is still running and paid the participant on time.

It will be depend on the project team itself, because a good projecg will paid participant because they have a real service and can be used by all people. Unless if the project is scam then they will never pay the participant.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Giveaway Scam on YouTube on: April 29, 2020, 02:31:22 PM
This is why a few times ago Youtube made a decision to ban crypto advertisement.

I've seen this giveaway everyday and I just skiped it because I've known that this a scam attemp.

Also, I've seen in this forum as well who have reported it in scam accusation board. You may need to move this thread to scam accusation too because that is the right section.
1390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to buy - question to Hodlers on: April 29, 2020, 03:58:59 AM
First of all you need to make a strategy first before you spend money to buy bitcoin or even altcoin.

Becausw with the strategy at least you can minimize the risk that will be faced, especially in cryptocurrency which popular with high risk high return.

Like you have to set the pariod of time to keep your money in it and it is a must when becomes an investor.

I get used to buy bitcoin with partial strategy when I intended to choose long term investment and I will buy it in any price situation.

But I have to make an anlust first (technical analyst is more prefee) when I intended to choose short term strategy to know a good time to buy it.
1391  Economy / Speculation / Re: What this Bitcoin halving bring? Does the Bitcoin price go up or down? on: April 29, 2020, 03:02:12 AM
Historically, indeed bitcoin price always up after halving event happened. Especially, at 2016 ago the third halving event for bitcoin. At that time I am still newbie to bitcoin and just known bitcoin in a few days, but it was make me suprised because in all day bitcoin price alwasy up drastically. Even I tried to as to my parend to give me loan money to buy it but they didn't give just because they never know about bitcoin.

Bitcoin became popular, make many people know about bitcoin and collect a lot of information against it until there is a channel television in my country who took bitcoin as main of disscussion. It was just a small implication who made bitcoin price up a lot until its price touched an all time high.

But I doubt for halving event at this year, the people have been aware against bitcoin and they knew bitcoin. As we know bitcoin price was in the bad phase exactly in 2018 ago, the price just slumped down and made many investor got bankcrupt. The people just have a bad view against it and some of them called bitcoin as a scam place, so they will never believe bitcoin again. And I think it is not about this pandemic but it is depend the people view against bitcoin, if they still believe bitcoin is safe then we will new all time high and it will be the other way around when they judge bitcoin badly.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If google has its own crypto currency? on: April 28, 2020, 10:57:59 PM
I just thought about this. if google has its own cryptocurrency, then it might be able to compete with bitcoin. However, everyone believes in Google, and I feel that it's bigger than Facebook. I think if Google produces its own crypto, then people will aim to own it. Well, I'm even excited about that
It will be centralized coin right? And there won't a lot of people who will using it. Now there are several platform that use cryoptocurrency like BAT and etc but do they have a lot of user? Is the price can compete bitcoin? They are no. Bitcoin will keep number one and there will no any coin who will compete it, believe me.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will another altcoin rise to overtaken Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2020, 10:29:40 PM
Back in 2017 I was expecting that ETH will raise and overtake BTC one day, but if you look at the market right now, BTC dominance was and still is around 60 percent and I hardly believe that BTC would be ever replaced from top.
I have never thinking that bitcoin can be overtaken by an altcoin even though it's ETH.

Bitcoin has a strong community and its investor believe that cryptocurrency aside from bitcoin is not cryptocurrency per se.

They just was created by some people who just need a profit for themselves. Yeah we csn see it in some altcoin who end up being shitcoin.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happend..... on: April 28, 2020, 10:24:58 PM
I just thinking that KYC is a trestle for bitcoin getting accepted in all country.

We never life in freedom, we have a government who still have an old system.

Indeed, bitcoin was created to make the people get a freedom life but I think it will never come true.

1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May I buy Bitcoin & Ethereum now? Or I am late? on: April 26, 2020, 07:40:03 AM
I just read an article that bitcoin halving can make a big jump in Bitcoin and Ethereum price. They said Bitcoin can hit 10K USD, and for that, the author described 5 reasons! So, should I buy now or the price is already high? Which will be more beneficial, Ethereum or Bitcoin? Please help me out.

Thank you.
How long did you know crypto currency?

if you just new and you don't know everything about crypto currency you aren't good to spend your money now.

Indeed, bitcoin and ethereum are in a good trend now, you can see since a few days ago their prices are increasing.

But there are several things that you should know, crypto currency prices don't always continue to increase in every day, there is a time for the price down and back to the original price before increase. Also, bitcoin and ethereum are increasing in a bad economic situation, we don't know if the people there come out and put the money to gold and etc and will make their prices decrease.

Also, we know that bitcoin will meet halving event in May at least it will be happening in several days ahead which I think the user will get FOMO and spend money to buy bitcoin and altcoin, but when the halving event doesn't give a good profit as they expected then we can see bitcoin price and altcoin prices will fall drastically. I'm not hoping that will happen, but just in case because to be an investor we should know a risk that will be faced.
1396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges WITHOUT KYC? on: April 26, 2020, 07:08:28 AM
I don't think that Decentralized exchange is the best way to trade reckon in the volume of it is still low.

You don't need a decentralized exchange if you don't want to pass a personal identity.

Because you can choose binance exchange which is a popular exchange and you can pass the personal identity.

But you may have limited access to withdraw your fund, you just have 1 BTC per day for you to withdraw your fund.

Seem like binance exchange is the safest way rather you choose a decentralized exchange, at least you'll be comfortable when you store your money although it will be for long time.
1397  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good KYCless exchange ? on: April 26, 2020, 06:50:30 AM
What's good these days ?  My old exchange quadriga went bust and I'm looking for a trusted exchange that's simple and doesn't require registration or personal info. just email at most.  I only have small amounts and only want to convert and not neccessarily withdraw.
I think binance exchange is the best way to choose, you don't need to give your personal identity there but you have limited access to the withdrawing process.

You just limited 1 BTC per day (if I'm not mistaken) and you are free to not give your identity. If I were you I'll choose binance rather I choose another exchange.

You can see some reviews of the exchange first before you made an account and usually the unknown exchange who offers you everything as you wish will scamming you, espcially new exchange.

Poloniex exchange was shut down for unexpected maintenance early yesterday morning. While the problem was largely seemingly resolved shortly thereafter, some argue that the action was shady because the downtime coincided with significant Bitcoin price movements.

The exchange said it was the first time they were offline right before 00:00 GMT. Almost all systems are now back to normal, but the GRIN / BTC market is not working yet.
The shutdowns are nothing new and the similarities are that they appear during volatile market times. This led some observers to think there was an intention behind it, such as closing to try and stop the famous violent moves of Bitcoin.

However, an equally plausible explanation is that strong market dynamics create a great demand for exchanges, which in turn leads to a spike in overcrowding of critical services. It could be that the exchange has not yet prepared for high traffic, not necessarily bad play.

The sudden blackout at Poloniex coincided with the time of market fluctuations. Bitcoin has increased by nearly 1.22% in the past 24 hours - currently trading above $ 7,550 again. According to some observers, this could also be evidence of bad play.

Therefore, it seems that this current outage is the result of being played badly behind the scenes at Poloniex.

Major digital asset exchange platform Poloniex was down for unexpected maintenance in the early hours this morning. Although the issue largely seems resolved now, some are suggesting malpractice on the trading venue’s behalf since the downtime coincided with significant Bitcoin price moves.

The exchange reported that it first went offline just before 00:00 GMT. Almost all systems are now back to normal, but the GRIN/BTC market still remains out of order......

However, an equally plausible explanation would be that dramatic market moves create huge demand on exchanges, which in turn leads to a sudden surge that can overload crucial services. Granted it’s telling of certain exchanges’ preparedness for high traffic but does not necessarily suggest foul play.

Today’s sudden outage at Poloniex is definitely one that coincides with market volatility. Bitcoin increased by almost seven percent over the last 24-hours — now trading above $7,500 again. Some observers have suggested that this too might be more evidence of such malpractice.

Therefore, it seems unlikely that this current outage is the result of some malicious play behind the scenes at Poloniex. BeInCrypto has contacted both Poloniex itself and one of the most prominent industry personalities associated with it, TRON network founder Justin Sun. We will update these reports with their responses when/if we receive them.

1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: April 25, 2020, 02:53:58 PM
You are late buddy, ethereum has been increasing a lot at this year.

Even if I compare with bitcoin price movement seem like ETH I'll choose ethereum as the winner.

But, if you have a prediction for this coin will up more than the current price you can buy now and hold it for long term investment.

1400  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What can we do to minimise the risk in trading on: April 25, 2020, 02:46:53 PM
If you are a daily trader, it a must to see the supply and demand for the coin that you be traded.

I mean, you can see some people who put a buy and some people who put a sell, because it is a basic thing before you see the candle, you can see them on the book order.

High amount of money will never give you a high profit even it will make you got a huge lose. You can trade with small amount of money first and see several things that happened when you trade and you have to repeat it in all your trade.
