I prefer 100% reinvestment in hardware , higher volumen , cheaper chips  ,higher asset value Roll Eyes

^
Thats probably the dumbest idea i've ever heard...we would receive no mining dividends.

and in response to Ken- Fair enough, my only concern is that the .0025 wont be repaid back in a timely manner
1382  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 03, 2013, 05:44:26 PM
Ken, can you confirm that https://blockchain.info/charts/balance?address=1DJpsvnM7xTnQbWEhLYyCyfxQyxwupEzCa is the correct and only ActiveMining address?

My guess is yes, the Bitcoin income is the same as last week meaning it includes the added hashpower, if this address had no new hashing power it would be a lot lower.

In short, the added hashpower has gained us a week.

Yes,  this is the only address that we send mining revenue to.  We will be reserving 50% of the new revenue for growth and expenses.

Will this "reserving for reinvestment" happen before the .0025 per share is paid out to shareholders?

If we get the verified status on bitfunder does this mean we have to report our profits/losses to our government even if we stay in BTC?

Im contemplating just getting verified

Of what I understand, it is only considered profit once you convert the bitcoins you profited into fiat.

This is what I thought as well... Im trying to find some legal documentation to back this up though. If thats true it would be very hard for them to track this
1384  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: November 02, 2013, 07:30:46 PM
There is almost zero trading happening right now...makes me wonder about the future of bitfunder

Thank you! Transferring shortly
1387  Economy / Securities / Re: Cloudhashing ASIC mining contracts, UK LTD company - Now Mining & Paying Bitcoin on: October 31, 2013, 10:42:59 PM
So glad I got a refund...phew.

I had to jump through some fucking hoops forsure though. Please stay away from this company if you can. Everytime i see an ad for CH somewhere it makes me cringe
Did you pay with google? If not what hoops?  Smiley

I paid with BTC...they are lying to all of you about refunds. I basically cussed them out so hard and was so degrading to them that they "didnt want to work with me" and offered a refund.

Bunch of incompetent fools running this company, they have a great UI though ill give them that

Ill ask this again...Ken are we able to have a public list of direct shares by BTC address?

Im still unsure how you are able to tell who the shares came from in the first place...
1390  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 31, 2013, 07:30:37 PM
Seems like a good time to start speculating on Active Mining's total deployed hash rate will be on Christmas Day - I'm shooting for 1PH

We really should be aiming for 1 PH to stay relevant (even though it seems extreme)

Crumbs you have clearly proven yourself to be a complete fucking loser with no life. Youre just a lonely miner with no friends....like dude you post on here every second of the day? Are you a grown ass man? I sure hope not.

Anyways, Im assuming the dividend has been moved to Friday?
1392  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 28, 2013, 09:36:13 PM
The SEC is our friend here, they JUST passed crowdfunding laws and still I doubt we are on their radar.

We need to stop acting like this is a big deal and just carry on with business

Transfer complete. Feeling a bit nervous about it.

My transfer from AMC to ActiveMining went smoothly, so I don't doubt Ken's ability to sort out shares.

I think hes talking about the fact that shares are being sent back to the company and that theres a chance that the company could just take off with them...I have this same concern and I havent sent shares for the same reason (although I trust ken to follow through on his promise)

This is not the first time people have had to tender their shares back to the company.

But this time there is no timeline as to when or where we are getting them. The last two times we transferred shares we knew we were getting them back in our control in a few days. Now we have no chance to sell and we are throwing them into the dark abyss of Activemining. Ive been involved with this company since July and everything up to this point was cool with me...I would even be down to have my shares transferred to cryptostocks even though theres no liquidity just so I have control over my own shares

naam sayn

1396  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin isn't currency. on: October 27, 2013, 09:15:23 PM
Lol what a fucking pointless argument
1397  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 27, 2013, 06:02:17 PM
Transferred over, man I wish I was able to actually buy some more.

its called a VPN, use it!
1398  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 26, 2013, 08:03:07 PM
Will there still be a public list of shares with the corresponding BTC address after the transfer is completed?
I don't really feel comfortable sending my shares into the dark abyss
1399  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 25, 2013, 05:37:27 AM
I am officially making the offer -- donate the hash power to a hobo on the street and I will supply the missing dividends every week to shareholders without any depreciation due to network growth.  This is a win win, Ken, maybe you can redeem yourself here.. better take me up on this

LMFAO I'm in for this.

But really, a little satoshi dust never hurt anyone did it?

Tell us about the prototype, Ken.
