How much are you looking for?
Will you accept Escrow?
It might be a good idea to post pictures of the coin too alongside with the date and your username to prove ownership.

1385  Economy / Goods / Re: [ WTS ] 20 Gram Gold Bars - 2 In stock $100 each on: August 24, 2017, 11:22:51 AM
They aren't replicas. They are fakes. Counterfeits.
Trying to pass them off as real is a crime.
You can sell them for what they are (fakes) but then charge people what they're worth ($10 on Alibaba).
1386  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC till 23 August on: August 22, 2017, 09:05:53 AM
What is your basis for that prediction? Just because the price has decreased over the last few days you still need reason(s) to back your prediction. Someone can equally predict that the price will go back up.
Please cite some sources and why you think BTC will drop rather than just making unfounded predictions.
1387  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Bitcoin investment experience on: August 20, 2017, 06:17:57 PM
You're just promoting a ponzi scheme.
Most don't even pay out the first users and have basic scripts that are being sold here on the Digital
Goods board.
You're lucky to have got paid out but don't promote something that will encourage others to run a scam site and users to invest funds they could and probably will end up losing.
1388  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Coin Advise on: August 16, 2017, 05:31:49 PM
If you definfiely want to cash out and are happy with selling while BTC is at this price then I'd say sell it on here and don't get it graded. You'll get a premium for it since it's a Casascius. Grading it will cost you time and in that time it's possible that BTC will go down in value and you'll get less for it then you could have had you sold it now.
1389  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS/WTT] Kialara Original .1 #68/2500 on: August 16, 2017, 07:15:54 AM
Sometimes I wonder what I could get for my Thug life piece.  BTC is x10+ since I purchased it.  My goal is to own every kialara piece that comes out.  Doing good so far.  Just wish I'd funded every piece now.
Just wish I'd funded every piece now.
If you fund your Kialara's, you're going to lower their value. The market has not been too kind to any kind of custom *funded* Kialaras.

Agreed. Funded Kialaras just make selling them on the secondary market more difficult. Besides, you'd never want to redeem them as that would mean having to destroy the works of art.
I'm sure your Kialara collection is just fine. If you've got a Thug life then consider yourself lucky!!
1390  Economy / Services / Re: Advertising Space on side of boat on: August 15, 2017, 04:54:08 PM
Nice and original idea. You might want to put up pics of your boat and the dimensions of the ad space available. Other info like how long the ad would stay up and other relevant details might be worthwhile to add.
1391  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Pre-fork deals include BCC or not? on: August 15, 2017, 03:32:14 PM
Personally I'd say no. Say that my BTC wallet once contained 100BTC but I spent a lot of it up until the fork and thus only had 15BTC left when the fork happened, I can't really expect to demand the BCC associated with all the 85BTC (I spent) from the sellers. I think the same applies to deals made here or elsewhere.

There would be no BCC associated with the 85BTC if you spent before the fork.....

You should have 15 BCC to match the 15BTC that was in your wallet on the 1st of August Huh

Exactly. The point is that these coins were also 'spent' so to speak and therefore the buyer shouldn't have any claim to the BCC tied to them.

Just to play this out fully, what of the counter-argument that the original deal was only for BTC and BCC did not exist when the deal was made. Additionally, there are some minor hoops to jump through to retrieve the BCC. Is the buyer (person paying in BTC) obligated to retrieve the BCC for the seller (person receiving BTC as payment)?

Well if the BCC didn't exist at the time of the transaction then what is the claim? The coins should be looked at as spent BTC and therefore all associated BCC would also be spent. At the time that the transaction was agreed upon there was no BCC to claim so you can't really retroactively claim it back.
Since redeeming the BCC can only be done by the buyer or Escrow holder I think that since they have to go through some trouble they should definitely be compensated for it.

I'm looking to buy Amazon gift cards. Either for the UK or US store.
I need $2000/£2000 worth. No smaller amounts unless they're significant.
I will use the cards to purchase an item from Amazon within 24 hours of receipt.
Escrow is a must and funds will be released upon delivery of the order from amazon.

Thanks

What rates? and what will you buy with? Give an idea of smallest amount, $250??

I'll pay a reasonable rate. Payment via BTC/LTC.
$250 isn't enough unless you can get be 8-9 codes worth $250 each.

1396  Economy / Collectibles / Re: At what price level do you start peeling rather than selling? on: August 14, 2017, 04:16:16 AM
The only point in peeling would be to liquidate your BTC holdings for cash.
That's kind of ironic as it shows that we still have uncertainty relating to BTC and a greater level of trust for FIAT. Having been said, for someone that's in it for the short term and looking to cash out is say that the time will be when the risk is too great to send abroad.
If BTC got to the $10k point then I could understand if someone would only be willing to sell a Cas coin face to face and if a buyer can't be found in person then peeling would be the next best option.
1397  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] MEGA Crypto Collector Auction! on: August 14, 2017, 04:09:23 AM
Great auction! This will definitely fetch a nice final price given some of the items included.
Shame about the table. It will surely be missed  Grin
I bid 0.25BTC
1398  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Value of a casascius coin used for cold storage? on: August 13, 2017, 08:18:27 AM
He's got himself into a bit of a difficult decision. Up until now previous Cas auctions for coins with extra BTC loaded don't get as much interest as Cas coins loaded with face value.
Say a normal 2012 series 2 sells for 1.2BTC, if it was loaded with extra BTC then the price would increase per the value of the BTC loaded. There would be no premium on the surplus BTC.
Now say your friend had loaded 4BTC on his coin (on top the the 1BTC face value) it would lower the amount of people interested in buying it as they have to shell out about 5.2BTC for it.
Now given the fact that the 5 BTC also contain about an extra $1500 worth of BCH, you could assume that the people interested would be significantly less.
In short, don't expect any special premium. Someone will buy it for face value (BTC+BCH combined) with a small premium (possibly less than the usual premium on a series 2 2012 Cas single) as fewer people would be in for it.
1399  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 3Mill$ BTC on: August 12, 2017, 11:38:04 PM
Unless you use a licensed exchange/trader to privately organise this trade for you there is no way that this will be possible. Nobody would be willing to do this in person. For your own safety I'd suggest trying to find a way to do this properly (finding a licensed company to handle it for you).
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest concerns surrounding bitcoin? on: August 12, 2017, 07:34:25 PM
I would have to say for me the biggest concerns for bitcoin would be..

1. The Darkweb gets shutdown or takes another hit. IMO the Darkweb/illegal activity plays a huge role in the success and failure of bitcoin.

2. Banks getting involved. If Banks are losing out on money or think bitcoin is taking money out of their pocket they could create a mess for bitcoin.

3. The richest of the rich will own most bitcoins. The rich usually make money from the middle/lower class, if they own most they will be no profits for them and bitcoin become obsolete.

Just a few of my concerns and obviously just my opinion. If you have any concerns or comments I'd like to hear your input.

To address your points.

1) That's no longer true. Yes BTC is used on the dark web but it barely affects the price of BTC. If the dark web were to shut down or switch over to another alt the price of BTC would only take a minor (temporary) hit.

2) How could that happen? BTC is decentralised. How could banks get involved?

3) That would never happen. The rich always want to get richer. That's just how things work. They know that if they own most of the BTC in circulation it will become pretty much worthless as nobody else has it to be able to spend it. For that reason it would make no sense for them to buy up most of the circulating BTCbecause it wouldresult in them losing a lot lot of money.
