1381  Economy / Economics / Re: Court win for worker fired for not keeping webcam on on: October 15, 2022, 09:59:30 PM
What is the difference between leaving the web cam open or having a surveillance camera in the workplace?
I understand the idiosyncrasy, but both things seem the same.
The problem lies in the attempt of many employers to take advantage of workers and interfere even in their personal affairs to enhance profits, such as controlling family visits or the number of births and others.
This is what happening in some of the companies here in my country, they try to manipulate their employees and force them to work even on a weekend. The employee will face suspension if they didn’t follow the instruction, and having that we left no choice but to comply. Leaving your web cam off should not be issue here as long as you are there presenting your work, CCTV can also a big help but it should only be for security purposes and not to be used to monitor employees from time to time.
1382  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 15, 2022, 09:52:33 PM
Investors have the right to know this and usually companies needs to disclose this to the authority and I’m sure they are not doing any illegal here, maybe it’s a pure preparation for the big events ahead. META changed their name for nothing, they are doing something that can blow our minds in the future, we should already anticipate this and hope that they are doing this for the benefits of many. Metaverse is still here, it may take more time but let’s hope that it’s worth it.
1383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 15, 2022, 09:47:19 PM
Of course Metaverse will be part of our future, it's been proven that all big companies like Facebook have focused on metaverse and changed their name to META,
and maybe Google will also participate in developing the metaverse, so why hesitate? investing in the metaverse whether it's in stocks or in crypto I think it's just as good.
They are hesitant because of the market condition right now but I agree, the future is still good with Metaverse and some company take this seriously especially META, they already spend billions of money here because they know it’s true potential and as a small investor we should also be ready for this and adopt as much as possible.
I’ve seen a thread here that META spend Billions of dollar already but they didn’t disclose any information with that, I don’t know if it’s a good news or they are working into something. Metaverse hype is not ok right not because of the bear market, maybe this is a best time to look for a good project that when the market recovers they will recover as well. We didn’t see yet the full potential of Metaverse and personally, I still want to see it and that’s why I believe they still have the future here.
1384  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 15, 2022, 09:28:36 PM
Ops you should ask yourself these simple questions, why do gambling sites ask for KYC what are the taxes paid by casinos, and how effective has government involvement been in gambling?
The answers to this question are simple and readily available with data on the web just a simple search will open you up to a.wide range of information that will enlighten you more.
He might want to hear our opinion with this and it’s fine.
Regulations will affect cryptomarket, it’s already started with gambling site since some of them already asking for a KYC and some gambler as well experienced already and being investigated with regards to their money and source of income. The regulations becomes more strict everyday, I can’t imagine the next restriction once we are able to attract many gamblers, mass adoption surely change the regulations and be forced to implement a maximum regulations.
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 15, 2022, 09:19:19 PM
If you are playing gambling for example slots and you double money with just a couple of bets on very early part of your game. Will you stop already or continue playing to earn more?

I’ve been on this situation many times before and I keep playing until I get the entertainment that I want and to have more profit. But the result is always ended up losing everything because it’s very easy to increase bet if you knew that your money that you use is a profit.  Cheesy
In my case, I bet small first and when I become more entertained, I tend to bet more and continue gambling. I wi only stop once I reached my limit and my budget at that time, most of the time I lose as well. Being greedy within your limit is fine, if you feel more excitement once you bet higher then go ahead, that’s gambling we should enjoy as well and not too focused about the money.
1386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: October 15, 2022, 09:09:15 PM
Trading will only become gambling once you depend on your luck, and that is why many lose the money because they didn’t do anything aside from a guess buy and sell strategy. You can be more good in trading once you do analyze the market, this is your hard work is needed and you should do this to avoid such losses. Those trader who succeed in this market didn’t think this as a gambling, but they treat this market as their job and they have to do their part to get the profit.

They dont really need to have lots of arts specialist for them to verify on what's AI arts or not.Just like the rest been saying above that they do have that criteria for them on what arts
will really be considered or be chosen.
Speaking of participating  then never make yourself get discourage just because there are lots of good participants. You would'nt know if you are one of the chosen
winners but of course dont expect for something like that so that you wont get discouraged.
Its indeed lots of artist we do have here on this forum which you could really say that it is really tough for the said competition.
As the price goes higher from time to time, you can see a lot of participants. I have been participating since then and I didn’t miss any art contest, I can say that they fairly choose the winners and it’s really a good art where you can see humor and passion. There’s a lot of good and creative artist here, I know they wont hurt their reputation here by using any AI software, they know the rules and they will surely follow it. Looking at the thread right now, we can see a lot of reserve participants, I can’t wait to see their art work.
1388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 14, 2022, 09:54:04 PM
There's soo much difference if we do speak about handwritten art and those AI art or digital but its not necessary that it should be separated on those categories yet they would really be having
criteria not only on what method that they had used but on the general essence and criteria that they are looking for.It doesnt matter if its AI'ed or handwritten.
But its true that it would be good if this query should really be clarified and be asked out on the main Roobet art thread so that there the manager
of the said campaign will really be making out clarifications in regards on this one.
Let's just stick with the rules, Roobet has been hosting this art contest for years now and there's complain about the winners.
Before they hosted the contest per category but maybe because of some budget problem or cost cutting, they go back to the normal contest for all the category. It's sad to see as well that there will only 5 winners for the recent art contest, because before it usually 10 winners. Well, let's just do our best and participate because we have nothing to lose here, there's a lot of great artist with Roobet art contest, it's really challenging.
1389  Economy / Economics / Re: Competition in business on: October 14, 2022, 09:35:46 PM
Generally, competition is very essential in a free market and without competition, there would be monopoly in the production of goods and rendering of services. And when there’s a monopoly, small business and start ups are destined to fail.
That's exactly what's happening in cryptomarket, we've seen a lot of competition here and fortunately there's no monopoly since every project can have a chance to a be good one as long as they offer good services and as long as investors sees their values. Competition sometimes kills a business as well but that is very normal because if you can't stand with the competition, that only means to me that your project is not worth enough to stay in a very competitive market.
1390  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: UNIONBANK WILL OFFER CRYPTO EXHANGE SOON? on: October 14, 2022, 09:18:56 PM
Nangyare ren sa akin ito, though they are just asking for additional KYC pero nakakapanic talaga at first kase hinde mo alam kung ano ang nangyare pero we have no choice but to follow or submit their requirements or else baka hinde na mabalik yung limit at worst, baka mafreeze talaga ng tuluyan ang ating pera.

What an upset, after Ginebra beat Bay area Dragons, now they lose to the Phoenix.

Best player of the game is Tyler Tio, I think this is his 2nd player of game award, and as a rookie, this guy really deserves the recognition.
Ginebra is very unpredictable now, they already have two losses this conference so far, can we still expect them to be a great contender of a championship?
The game was too close but Phoenix able to made good points to take a win and this should be a lesson for Ginebra not to be complacent. The way Phoenix have the lead on the early part of the game you can tell already that Ginebra was not that strong on this game. They can be a contender only if they are able to enter the semi-finals round, but for now they have to work on that consistently.
Phoenix is not that bad, and Ginebra lose because of poor plays though, they are able to have some leads when Phoenix have a problem with turnover but Ginebra was not able to stay with that lead especially in the 4th quarter. I lose some bet since I thought Ginebra will enter into a winning streak after they won against Bay Area, now this is a big upset for them and I wonder as well if they can still have a chance to at least fight for the title.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New metaverse city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on: October 14, 2022, 08:43:38 PM
This country always pleases with its innovations, and even more so in such an area as the metaverse. In general, this is undoubtedly a very developed country and it keeps up with the times. Judging by the articles, countries such as Japan, China and South Korea also do not stand still. I would like to quickly see what they will achieve in this promising area.
This is how middle east growing especially with UAE, they are very innovative and they really trying to adopt technologies as much as possible. Though looking at the Metaverse city, it looks like another city and not the known UAE where you can see a lot of buildings but it's good for other emirates to follow the footsteps of the other emirate when it comes to blockchain adoption. This is indeed a promising project and a proof that Metaverse is not done yet.

Breaking news about Jason Castro, he signed a three-year contract extension for TNT.
He deserves it and probably he's seeing himself retiring for TNT and hopefully TNT will give him another opportunity after that, if ever he decides to retire.
That’s a good contract even though Castro is claiming to be too old for that opportunity, I can still see his desire and composure on every game which we already know how he plays the game. Retiring with TNT is also good, he has been part of the team for years already since 2008 I believe until now, that’s what we called loyalty and he really deserve that.
There’s still a year before his current contract end but Castro decided to already accept the offer, this could be the last contract for him but at least, we can still see him playing for the next 3 years. TNT really don’t want to give up Castro, he can still play and perform good plays that’s why he really deserve it. Castro is still a gold for TNT, I believe he can still do more.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Sentiment Poll for October on: October 13, 2022, 09:42:43 PM
october will be a very decisive month for cryptocurrencies, if the price of Bitcoin dumps up to $17k again of course this is bad for the market,
because Ethereum will also be affected, yes even though judging from the chart there is a possibility of ethereum going back below 10000,
but it also depends on the price of bitcoin. Hopefully it doesn't happen.
This is more possible if the trend continues, we need the hype and the real good news.
I’ve seen Elon’s tweet about 20,000 and many assumes that it’s the price of Bitcoin, let’s see if that can totally affect the price of Bitcoin and the market because if yes, we can expect ETH to pump as well. The bear market is still strong, it will be hard for ETH to pump alone and few months left for October yet the price is still down.
1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 13, 2022, 09:21:44 PM
I think other tokens that are designed for market volatility erform better than gambling tokens since most gambling tokens are up just to play games on the casino, but we also have some casinos took that are performing well in the market.
That’s their sole purpose, to be used on that specific site or maybe they also have promotions to have more bonuses once you use their token for gambling, aside from that there’s no other utility for them which I think is the reason why other tokens outperform the gambling token. The site can choose to have this though, but I can say that many still prefer the traditional coins/tokens where they can easily get on any exchanges, personally I prefer to gamble with LTC.
1396  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 13, 2022, 08:55:21 PM
Hey guys. Apart from winning let's talk about loosing  Wink
We all have bad days...
So the question is...if you loose many times in a row, what would you like at most - a cashback from what you've just lost or a bonus to go on?

from my personal experience in gambling... I much prefer a site that gives a bonus instead of cashback.
Perhaps because in the end the cashback is lower than what is provided to you through a bonus (the bonus, for example, is linked to the rank reached in a particular site).
best casinos however have cashback and bonus on the same time Wink
You’re lucky if you have that both option but if not, I also prefer more bonuses since you can still get bonus even if you didn’t lose anything. Many gambling site are very generous with their bonuses, I was able to claim some good bonuses before and that’s why I prefer this. Cashback is ok if you are losing a lot of money buy if none, bonus might be ok as substitute.
1397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 12, 2022, 09:47:00 PM
This number is absolutely wrong. Individually, a player can play 10 times on a betting site and get ripped off 9x. But what exactly do we mean by the term scam? Unfortunately, what we often see is that players have to wait a long time for their payout at a casino or other gambling site. Is it a scam if the player cancels this payout himself and starts gambling with this money? we can't call that a scam. If accounts are closed, yes. There are also players who have violated the terms and conditions and then complain that they have been scammed because the winnings have been confiscated. That is not a scam either. Players are often quick to use the term scam when it is actually not a scam.

if the OP will stick to the top casinos found in this forum, he won't be scammed. maybe, he experienced bad losses from casinos, hence, spreading a misleading statement about casinos. in gambling, expect losses. but it doesn't mean that you got scammed because you lost.
Unfortunately, not all gamblers know this forum and that’s why some are still playing with the scam site and sooner or later they will realize that mistake and will finally came here to announce that he got scammed. Losing in gambling is normal and the site wont ruin their reputation just to manipulate the system, because its already obvious that the house will always win and we can’t expect to always win as well, gambling is more about your luck, if feel unlucky stop gambling right away.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to buy Old Coin? on: October 12, 2022, 08:54:09 PM
I don't understand what old coins you mean.  But some of the things found in older coins are development and community and blockchain technology is right.  They are playing a leading role in maintaining the market in a very good way

there are a lot of old coins here, it's just that the OP didn't mention what coins he would invest in, btc, eth, bnb, sol and LTC maybe the old coins that the OP meant
OP prove your research right on your friends for the next bull run set your strategy and enjoy your profits,
If that is the case, then buying top coins are the best strategy right now because it’s really cheap but if its about the old shitcoins, I don’t suggest to buy any because they are useless already and they will just disappear just like the other old shitcoins. OP should prove nothing honestly, just focus on your own strategy and if your friend didn’t listen to you, then it’s not your loss after all.
1399  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 12, 2022, 08:28:37 PM
Offline casinos are still working good, though I can’t remember the last time I visit casinos since the start the of pandemic, I started to play more online. Casinos has been become one of the tourist spot in some countries but I think if you are going to travel for leisure in other countries where Casinos are just a normal business, you can skip visiting them and focus more on the tourist destination on that country, online casinos now are preferred by many.
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest Heavily ALT now on: October 11, 2022, 09:27:02 PM
Cost averaging method is a good strategy during bear market since we don’t know if the market will continue to down or now, having your own analysis can help as well. Investing during bear market should be more precise and avoid any coins/tokens that you think can’t survive the bear market, not all altcoins are worth to buy choose the best only or to be more safe, go for the top 20 coins in the market and just play with them until the market recovers.
