NOW:
TokenCard holdings: Token Values: $4,138,668.91 ETH Values: $15,122,345.18 Total Value: $19,261,013
CoinMarketCAP, Market CAP: $17,100,256
Marketcap is smaller then the tokens/eth real value...
The direction TKN heading seems not so good..

Nice, price is developing nicely... More exchanges coming....

So will it be as simple as using regular card?
Yes. The main difference is that the funds are drawn from your eth address and not your bank account. What I will like to know is the spread that the team will allow, we all know that ALtcoins are very volatile and the team will surely want to protect themselves from this Its not the team that would need to protect themself. Its you as far as I can see. You are the one keeping the tokens on your account. I am guessing they are sold at marketprice according to coinmarketcap or similar site. But this is not an official thread so you likely wont get an official answer. So basically if marketprice bugs on coinmarketcap as it has, they will get wrong values and all is lost.... not good.. and they are using 3rd party provider for value, which is not also good.. where this will be implemented? needs a infrastructure to be maintained, who maintains this? what happens if it gets hacked? what if coinmarketcap gets hacked... Lot's of questions...

4.1 Smart Contract Wallet Upon a user joining the platform they launch their own Token Contract Wallet, or grant allowances to their existing wallets. This Contract Wallet acts as the equivalent of a bank account that holds funds and enforces security parameters, but, crucially, it is controlled only by the user. Users run through a setup wizard and are prompted to customize settings to fit their preference, including: • Setting daily limits to safeguard assets • Setting up a base currency for example ETH (any fiat deposited into this will automatically convert upon load). Typically digital currency security is a tradeoff between usability and functionality. Users must trade security of their funds for convenience when they decide whether to hold tokens themselves or leave them at an exchange. We think we can do better. By shifting control of user assets back into their own hands and giving them easy to manage fine-grained control of their digital assets safeguarded by the security of smart contracts, users can have better security and substantially improved usability. (WhitePaper) [/quote] I do believe blockchains will grow and grow, debit/credit cards will grow. I also believe there will be crack down on these "unmonitored" cards, when there's enough crypto growth and currently you need to identify yourself to the provider of these cards, and you can annually receive (deposit) some 2000eur before it will be on the record (anti money laundering rules). They need to figure out how to comply on all of the banking rules, even when using the third party (all of the payment chain needs to be traceable to a person). It's too big of a leap currently on my opinion, the idea is nice thou... what comes to this tokencard, I still haven't seen the company anywhere on official records, which was mentioned on the token agreement... etc..

|
So basically what the difference with this? seems like same almost same graphics.. https://coinsbank.com/cardsBut personally, I don't think they will get this to function properly, I give you one big reason. How do you think your tokens are converted to fiat which they have to use, using some exchange rate, where do they get it? from coinmarketcap? like they did with SNGLS conversion? got the wrong amount, lots of losses, who pays for those losses => bankruptcy (which company or person, no VAT id, dont know, or disappears) => TKN value zero. -> cards wont work and do not look at the founders personal facebook page......

So nobody seems to have an answer to this? You have access to Google, right? So which is it? Neither of them. Ok, so where is it? Please point me to a company registry from where it can be found? The company mentioned in the token agreement. Maybe a VAT-ID, of the company? So do we have company that does not exist on any official records? Having VAT-ID that does not exist on any papers? They should be doing business and handling transaction queries from VISA (Banking regulations?) Please provide more information, maybe somebody knows this information? Soooo.. any information dug on this?

Things can go wrong with Launches but what bothers me the most is that Team seems to have communication problem
at this point they should be letting every one know whats step are being taken and inform the investors each step of the way
I don't know about what you think, but the TEAM they have is an artificial one, all but two (are friends) members bought/contracted to do a specific task (marketing, marketing specialist, law specialist on ICO etc, tech for programming, etc)

|
In their new medium blog, they said there is a bug. So they are trying to fix it. So basically you could still participate to the ICO by sending SNGLS? =P, the 24 hour period?
|
|
|
How much time did the ICO last, similar to Gnosis?
I missed the crowdsale and would like to get some on exchanges, can someone confirm on which exchanges TKN will trade? liqui?
ICO duration was ~ 27 minutes. No exchanges announced yet. Token is not released yet. Token has been released... well I have mine The token contract and distribution hasn't been finalised yet so it could still change. The potential valuation for this project is huge though, 1% in fees for a product so many will use as soon as it is available will really add up. This should have a few hundred million dollar valuation pretty quickly imo if it progresses as planned. https://etherscan.io/token/SNGLS?a=0x49edf201c1e139282643d5e7c6fb0c7219ad1db7Does this mean you can still send tokens to the ICO address? as latest transaction was 5 hrs 43 mins ago..

You should ask the team, not us.
The Tokencard team is not active on Bitcointalk.
Many companies have a company name that differs from their actual products, so just searching "Monolith" probably won't give you the answer.
Send a mail to the team, link is on the Tokencard website. Don't expect a response soon, the team is located in Seattle.
Another thing bothering: in the agreement there's a clause: "User confirms not be a US-citizen and/or US-resident" and they are themselves in Seattle?

That's the thing, the company should be in that name specifically mentioned in the token agreement and should be located in switzerland.
Why should it? That's only what you make of it. "The User understands and accepts that the development and execution of the TokenCard Project will be released by the Smart Contract System to the wallet of a third party contractor, Monolith GmbH (to be incorporated using parts of the contributed funds in Switzerland, “Monolith”). Monolith shall use the funds only for the purpose of the development and execution of the TokenCard Project and has the right to engage subcontractors to perform the entire or partial development and execution of the TokenCard Project. The scope of the development work will be triggered by the amount of contribution received during the Creation Period as set forth in the TokenCard Whitepaper" http://tokencard.io/TKNCreationTerms.pdf
