1382  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Samsung Galaxy S4 16GB, Arctic Blue, AT&T w/ Extras! on: January 14, 2015, 02:36:01 PM
I am interested if it will work and can be shipped to Canada.

I am shipping from USA, and I can ship it to Canada. I don't see why it wouldn't work in Canada as I have taken regular gsm phones to mexico, put in a new SIM and got service no problem. I am fairly sure you could use an att sim card still, or unlock it and use any gsm sim.

Ok. We've got a deal then.  Smiley.  What would you like to do in terms of escrow?

1386  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: January 14, 2015, 03:54:37 AM
Is there anyway you can implement a monthly tournament, say like a $100 buy-in and have it be deep stack so like 15-30K chips? Since I play casino tournaments I'm not so inclined to play the Big BTC every weekend, but if there was a tournament like this I would definitely be interested. If the player pool was big enough I'm sure it would be successful.

Don't think many will register for it...even the Big BTC currently at about $75 does not get many entries...this site seems to be stuck in neutral for a year in about the same number of players even after the December promotions...don't know if it is the software, possible old Maven software security exploits concerns, or Micon's half naked videos but the site does not seem to be growing as fast as it should,..even with the great fast payouts, you would think that the site would grow faster then it has been doing.

I think it would work if they give enough time before hand to promote it and allow people to buy bitcoin and stuff.

The DoD XL tournaments were a success and drew more players than normal.

Even if it's just a one time thing, a large special tournament with a big guarantee and a month to promote it should bring in new players.

Especially with WPN now taking bitcoin deposits... more poker players are just now learning about bitcoin and figuring out how to buy it.  Seals should capitalize on that run a big tournament that gets attention and draws them in.

Yep the promotion was great....the problem is that traffic is back to pre-promotion levels.  I think that WPN now taking bitcoin deposits and soon withdrawals is actually bad for SwC....I see some SwC regs posting in the WPN thread at 2 + 2 that they  will deposit as soon as the bitcoin withdrawal option is available. It may be soon that SwC is no longer the bitcoin leader.

I'm pretty sure that when you deposit at WPN, your bitcoin gets converted to a fiat amount and when you cashout the fiat gets converted back to a bitcoin amount.

You could theoretically deposit 5BTC, win $100, cashout and have less bitcoin than you did before.

At least with seals, if you win, you know you're gaining bitcoin.

Where exactly would the funds go towards?

To Theymos just like the advertising auctions to pay for mods and site.

Hmmm... I actually think that's a good idea.

I'm in support of this.

It could even bet setup like the Bitcoin Foundation where there are silver, gold, and platinum memberships Smiley

Why did you register a new account for the sole purposes of bidding?

It'd be nice for people to be able to link the site to your actual bitcointalk account so that there's less fear of being scammed.

Servers are being moved to a new data center. Expected down time is 90-180 minutes.

Does this mean that the new upgrades are going to be implemented shortly Smiley?

Funny to see this coming from a guy that has an account that played a bunch and spent time encouraging participation..
Do you see me encouraging participation anywhere ? Wink

I've seen you pretty much openly admit that you've scammed users and bragged about it on this message board.

I'm not sure how you wake up everyday with a clear conscience to be honest.

BTC Break The Bookies Sports Picks BTC

 I will be using a star system meaning 1* as a 1 unit play and 5* as a 5 unit/max play.

Whatever happened to this?  How can anyone trust your 'picks' if you don't even follow your own rules?
1398  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering Short Term Loans on: January 13, 2015, 02:40:39 PM
what kind of Collateral you looking at ? i need 3 BTC am setting new website up and can pay back in 2 weeks with interest.

Collateral usually covers 120% of the total loan in any type of easily sellable digital value.
1399  Other / Meta / Re: Because Marketplace>Gambling has become free Ponzi advertising land... on: January 13, 2015, 01:46:56 AM
I made an earlier message stating the same thing.

We absolutely NEED a ponzi sub-forum.

It's beyond ridiculous at this point.
1400  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Justdice - Auction User ID 437 on: January 13, 2015, 01:22:44 AM
This might not be a good idea. Since you are a trusted member of the community such an account could potentially be used to impersonate you

Is there a way to permanently change the nickname?
I have no idea, but you might as well create a new account if you wanted a different nickname

I'm obviously going to use a different nickname.  I'm not trying to purchase his nickname.  I am trying to buy the User ID.  That's the whole point.
What is so great about his user ID? What gives it value?

It might sound silly, but there is a level of respect that comes along with it.

Its messages clearly stand out and people pay attention to them.

New members are given a user id of > 1,000,000 and are constantly trolled and not taken seriously.
