1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good to accept crypto as a payment? on: February 22, 2023, 06:30:04 PM
Not yet, but I am about to, right now I don't have any business set up for Bitcoin payment and I do not think that all businesses are fit for Bitcoin payment, but there are so many people accepting Bitcoin as means of payment right now and it's been going on for many years, adoption rate won't happen in a day, that's certain but gradually everyone will know about Bitcoin, what the government feared about Bitcoin has been unleashed since the beginning, now it's too late to stop.
1382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do i buy bitcoin to store on a usb on: February 22, 2023, 05:03:15 PM
Buy a Hardware wallet, using a USB flash drive to store your Bitcoin is very risky, the USB flash might stop working after some months even if you don't use at all, and they easily get corrupted too, another big headache is zero security of USB, plug into a PC and virus take the best of the USB flash.

If you don't have money for a hardware wallet, download electrum wallet online and write down the recovery phrase, the recovery phrase is your security key, keep it privately, it is meant for the user only.

Note: if someone managed to get your recovery seed they can easily import into about Bitcoin wallet and move out your funds.
1383  Economy / Economics / Re: Precisely or erroneous on: February 22, 2023, 03:46:25 PM
Whatever the price you are buying Bitcoin for in a bear market is a good buying strategy, value are always low in every bear market and value always increases or makes a new all-time high in every bull market, I would say keep buying and holding till the bull market is here and take your profit, holding seems longer in the eye of many that's why they find it hardest to hold their asset and some invest the money they are not ready to invest, looking for a quick return on investment.
1384  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Thought one of my online wallets was hacked and robbed on: February 21, 2023, 07:10:19 PM
It's a shame you don't know the difference  between custodial wallet and non custodial wallet, this is why you belittle Electrum wallet, if the Electrum wallet is what you have been using there is a probability of having your asset intact right now. You took things into your hand that's why you lose your assets, blockchain dot com sucks to the core, I have used it in the past and it's easier to get hacked, anyway.

Electrum wallet is fully open source, and it gives you your keys 🔑, all you have to do is keep the recovery seeds safe.
1385  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Program Done With Students on: February 21, 2023, 05:18:48 PM
Thanks for spreading the news out to the world, this is an inspiring move OP, for the fact that you are doing all this for free without getting anything in return is very good of you, I can see that your Bitcointalk account is still very new, I believe you are not new to Bitcoin but new to the forum, so I want to say a big welcome to this forum, the more people are doing this around the world the better it is for Bitcoin.
1386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 21, 2023, 04:30:40 PM
In this forum and other forums where gambling is one of the topics of discussion, one of the recurrent topics is people who write about how their gambling addiction has ruined their lives. We usually encounter topics like "Gambling ruined my life,"  "I lost all my life savings to gambling,"  "I gambled away my entire salary," etc. Then they go on to tell a sad tale. It makes me wonder: why do gamblers tend to wait until they have suffered a catastrophic loss or a string of losses before quitting or seeking help?
Because they have to lose everything first before they realize they have lost it all, if an addicted gambler still has some money left after a big loss, they won't feel satisfied, they will still believe in a hope that only exists in dreams.

Addicted gamblers don't feel sorry for themselves until they lose the entire money that has with them, let my make another money even after they feel sorry and pitied for all they've done, they will still gamble and keep the stupid lottery ticket idea alive, this us why its very hard to stop a gambling addiction.
1387  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transferring BTC on: February 21, 2023, 03:44:41 PM
You can reuse the same Bitcoin address. However, if you want to maintain some privacy it's generally recommended to use a new address every time you want to receive payment.

Not reusing a Bitcoin address a second time will not erase the first time you use the Bitcoin address. I do not see any form of privacy doing transactions this way, I believe this is why we have mixers.

OP, are you trying to hide how many Bitcoin you moving into your hardware wallet? Why? This is not necessary at all unless your money is not clean or you are hiding for other private reasons, even if this is the case mixer is the only solution, using several Bitcoin addresses makes no difference.
1388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've invested around 450 dollars into bitcoin and I am 16 years old on: February 20, 2023, 07:42:18 PM
What is the stockpile website all about? I have never heard about this before and when I try to access the website it said I can't, please do not keep your Bitcoin on any website, it's not secured on any, the safest place for your Bitcoin is non custodial wallet like Electrum or Hardware wallet, also, you don't need to prove anything to anyone on this forum, we are not here to share our looks, how much we make or where we live, everything on here about us should stay private.
1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is currently the best crypto to invest in? on: February 20, 2023, 06:46:46 PM
Bitcoin is the best crypto for newbies, but if you are ready for deep research and learning you can go for altcoins, mind you, altcoins are not as safe as Bitcoin but altcoins have the potential to 30x or even 100x your money, you can only pull this off successfully if you do good research on projects that are very useful as we speak. Many altcoins are scam but few stands out to be the best, like Polygon and Binance coin (BNB).
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give it a break. on: February 20, 2023, 05:11:45 PM
Stick with what works for you OP, I don't gamble every time to make some money by force, I just use some small amount like 10$ to play some games out of fun and if I lose it all its good, I won't be coming back until another day that I have another 10$ to throw at the game again.

If you are already a professional gambler then you are automatically addicted to gambling, there is no way to take a break, taking a break is meant for those who gamble for the fun of it.
1391  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is your profit taking strategy? on: February 20, 2023, 03:07:36 PM
It depends on how strong the altcoin project is OP, if you already make 2x you can take profit and leave the rest for the next bull run, but this is not my strategy, I don't like selling coins in a bear market because its not a good time to sell but a good time to buy instead, I have alts that are currently at 5x but I don't sell, they have good potential that's why I don't bother to take any profit at the moment.
1392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantage and disadvantage of cryptocurrency on: February 19, 2023, 05:46:07 PM
Crypto doesn't give knowledge, it's not a knowledge ORB sent down from heaven, everything about Crypto must be acquired through learning only, this is the only way to know how to manage risk and make money out of your investments.

* Is there any money making ways that's not time-consuming? Every human in the world will be rich if it's easy to make money.

* Once you lose your key or fall victim to scam traps your fund is gone forever, but you can still make back all you've lost, I fell for scam years ago and I lost all my ETH but as time goes on I earned more than I've lost.

* You are right about how easy it is to lose your private key to scammers, but it still all comes down to your knowledge, learning is the most important part of cryptocurrencies, you need to know how to keep your private keys safe or just buy a hardware wallet instead.

* Crypto doesn't stop anyone from furthering their career, this is a wrongful thought, I have my own business, and I'm into crypto investment too, I do trading twice a week and I take my business very seriously.

* Crypto investment can only cause shock and death if you invest all your life savings, investing money in crypto is very risky because of the volatility aspect, a smart investor only invest with what they are ready to lose, if you lose five percent of all the money you have in this life to crypto it won't kill you, because you still have 95% left.
1393  Economy / Economics / Re: No petrol/diesel car sales by 2035/ Reality or dream? on: February 19, 2023, 02:52:51 PM
It's not happening very soon, electric vehicles won't generate money like cars running on petrol and diesel, the man that invented a car using water to run was assassinated because this will make petrol useless or make the government less money, Cars running on gas is still better than using electricity, I am not saying it's impossible but I doubt it will generate better money, right now, its less safe to even drive electric vehicles, because I keep hearing they go up in flames and burn down with no reason.
1394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bolt driver experience: promoting bitcoin in my business on: February 19, 2023, 08:03:46 AM
Nice one OP, this is a good way to promote Bitcoin even if no customers are paying in Bitcoin, but I do have some doubts about this business, to send Bitcoin from a wallet to another costs me 0.40$ and that's more than enough for moving from one locality to another using a cab or taxi, so customers that will find this a worthy trial are those going a long distance, if I could remember, Bolt drivers don't travel long distance, they always do cabbing within a city or two,  F*ck it, this is still a good promotion for Bitcoin so keep doing you.
1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: February 19, 2023, 07:29:46 AM
if you don't want to withdraw money without KYC you should play decentralized casino because it's safe and without KYC but if you play centralized casino you should follow the rules of the game as they also have rules you have to follow, I'm also not interested in giving KYC then from that I always avoid it let alone withdraw big money of course I will be asked to submit KYC
Some people found themselves in this unwanted KYC position because the gambling website failed to state the fact about KYC verification where every new user can easily read and know what they are going into, I believe they are doing this intentionally, they knew some people will stay away from their website because of KYC verification, but after they win some money they have to abide to get their money withdrawn, users will have no choice but to pass the KYC to get their money out.
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Delisted Alts from KuCoin!!! on: February 17, 2023, 05:43:34 PM
This means nothing to me, Tokocrypto for example has 42% of it's volume on Binance exchange, and the token is listed on many others like gate, bkex, wazirx, MXC and more, it's just unfortunate that the volume on Kucoin is under 50,000$ compare to 3.4million volume on Binance exchange alone, this point is invalid to me, delisting doesn't mean the end or a project is bad.

It feels good to learn something new about Bitcoin almost every day on the forum

Okay, you've learned something and there's nothing wrong with that, but how about not opening a new topic every time you have a thought or learn something new?

You have been living in a delusion for years because you think there is an official site for Bitcoin, and that same Bitcoin is decentralized and has no CEO, official site, forum, central bank, spokesperson or anything similar. A small tip that is really worth a lot - when you visit a website, I advise you to read the "about" section, and then some things become much clearer Wink
I thought this forum is all about learning and sharing information? How will others know this same thing? Or you are saying that I am the only stupid one that knows nothing because I couldn't read well? What about others? Are we to keep quiet whenever we learn something that others might benefit from? Since you are a legendary member then pls guide me, maybe next time I won't have to do the same. Since it doesn't matter.
1399  Other / Beginners & Help / It feels good to learn something new about Bitcoin almost every day on the forum on: February 16, 2023, 11:52:28 AM
I am very sure that many people do not know this, I deemed myself a poor teacher today, thanks to hossainimr93 who just opened my eye, for the past many years now I have always believe that Bitcoin.org is the official website for Bitcoin, in short, I have feed this to so many people that learn about Bitcoin through me, I feel ashamed about this, here is what he said ..

Bitcoin.org was created by satoshi and is now controlled by Cøbra.
Take note that even if bitcoin.org was still owned by satoshi, it wasn't the official website of bitcoin.

I know many newbies don't know this either, that is why I decide to make a topic out of this, thanks sir hossainimr93, it feels really good learning something new about Bitcoin from time to time on this forum.
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I feel ashamed asking this but it's better to know than not knowing on: February 16, 2023, 11:03:54 AM
I remember that in 2016 when I first installed my BTC wallet from the official Bitcoin website I use a lot of data to sync and download the blockchain data
This may be off-topic, but it may worth mentioning that there is no official bitcoin website. Bitcoin isn't like a company which is owned by someone/group of people and has an official website. Bitcoin is decentralized and the users don't rely on a centralized service like a website.
I was not expecting this answer, if so, then I still have a question, like who owns or created Bitcoin.org? Because that was the first place I learn and read more about Bitcoin, so hossein sahab, what am I not getting here? I always thought that Bitcoin.org is the official website.
