Bitmain send/ships me a used, dusty, old, and broken miners. I ordered an Antminer S1, it arrived DOA yesterday. The boards have a 2013-12-01 date stamp on them. I removed the fan and it has more dust than my vacuum cleaner...

No, let's NOT 'all get together and piss off UPS' but let's instead have ONE point if contact I.e. BITMAIN ask politely what the delay is and when delivery is to be expected.
Then BITMAIN could show a modicum of customer support and update the affected customers. It's an easy thing for BITMAIN to do and would go a long way to calming the community.
When you hear a month delay then what? will you ask for refund? Madness. Live with that they will arrive or not. When when it happens |

UPATE on airplane hijack:
Plane was stuck for customs reasons, and lady from UPS told me that this is common and delay might be up to 2 business(working) days.
Lady adviced me that package should be with me on monday form 9-7pm.
Last scan was done on mumbai which means that cargo left customs and after scan is ready for shipping to another hub.
I hope all this is true. Because if not till monday will loose easily 1 BTC.
Bitmain cmoon man, wake up and give us an answer.Only you can contact directly mumbai and chase them about this issue.

I see your frustration dude but there is nothing that bit bitmain can do. What needs to be done is done. Your items are shipped as promised. He can not change anything even if he calls UPS. Do you see my frustration? i dont think so. by monday IF i will receive miners and set them up i will loose easily 0.6btc I was one of people who acctually would defend bitmain. but lack of comunication, and info from thread just show how muchh we customers are important. Maybe for you 5.7btc is nothing. For me it means 3 miners. As you can see above list is getting bigger. Plane is down since friday and nothing. As customer i have no other option to signal to seller there is problem. If seller dosn't reply to emails, pm and posts there must be something going on. Dont you think? I still believe we will receive miners but big question is WHEN? If i wanted mining gear with delay i would send money to BFL. I really dont want scared potential buyers but silence is not something which helps this situation. And is not only me who mention lack of communication.are shipped. UPS will only give information to the sender, so BITMAIN is in the unfortunate position of being the only one able to get information on the delay and hopefully a delivery estimate. The problem seems to be that BITMAIN only appears when it's time to sell some more units, there is little to no after sales.
All we want is a response from the entity who has ACCESS to any sort of answers.
Yes and what will be changed for you personally if you know the exact delay? And it will be estimation of course I just do not get it? Probably you are planning day off not to loose a second from mining time or what? |

Not sure what I saw but I saw a new error flash on the screen "-pipe" and I think it was tied to lib usb. Any idea if that still means I should be using an alternate btcguild or is that something else. I'm going to try compiling later and see if I can get past where I was having trouble now. Just make sure if any thing I posted about it in my fork I get some credit  since I did the searching. Are you here to beg or to help to community? whatever you find please keep it secret not to get disappointed for the lack of credits In genal you can not do much about USB pipe errors unless you are writing USB dev firmware. what needs to be done is done already from cgminer developers. |

I am not sure about this since i don't had that many board. But i am more prefer to buy another TL-ML3020 since the price is very cheap. With 2 HEX16A & 1 HEX16C, my TL-ML3020 memory usage already at 156%. Add 2 nanofury memory usage reach 180%. I don't think memory might be an issue. I've got 7 HEX16A2 running and doesn't seem like it's hampering performance. I'd still limit it to 10 per router though. To be on the safe side. Yes, but i just don't like pushing the router that hard. That why my 2 nanofury moved to tablet now. 180% means not what you think humans us command free otherwise read what it exactly means |
