Just please advice on how to handle this.

Thanks

Seems like a driver issue to me, check if you are using windows 10, its possible that you are a victim of OS Updates lately, try to uninstall and reinstall latest driver of your GPU, don't forget to turn off your OS update.

1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help! My PC not seeing my all GPUs after installing dag_fix_beta_driver on: October 23, 2017, 09:32:56 AM
Hi guys

I have been mining with my all 7 X Sapphire RX570 nitro+ 4GB GPUs. I decided to mod my GPUs. I installed dag_fix_beta_driver after that my PC cant recognize 7 GPUs at the same time. I can see only 5 of them.
My
OS: WIN UEFI
GPUs: 7 X Sapphire RX570 nitro+ 4GB with samsung RAM
MOBO: MSI z170a pro carbon
peg0, peg1: GEN2 (I tried GEN1)
4G: Enabled

Any Help?

did you do clean uninstall? try DDU

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

then install pixel Patcher

https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher

you should be running windows 10 OS to run 7 GPU

1383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PSU Burnt Up The End Of A Cable, Throw It In Trash? (Pics Inside) on: October 23, 2017, 04:08:37 AM
The wires can't handle power and current flowing unto them.

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3037884/psu-8pin-connector-heat-melted.html

You may try to use larger wires for mining purpose, and save your PSU.

1385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help with adapter vs. motherboard vs. GPUs issue on: October 22, 2017, 12:52:26 PM
It is easy to do, you only have to remove the case from your Elite minitower, install the GTX 1060 in the PCIEX16 slot, I am afraid you have do some tweaks to cables of the motherboard as that is an old computer. The other card you can install with a riser, that motherboard , almost everyone of HP has at least 1 PCIEX1 slot which you can use this riser to connect and make it PCIEX16. The power supply is way more powerful than needed for just 2 xGTX 1060 cards.

Link to riser

Thanks. But what do you mean by tweaks to cables? How can I do that, is there any tutorial available?

Is this your CPU?

PSU is actually different for you motherboard.

1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Breakdowns: How often and typical issues? on: October 22, 2017, 01:50:53 AM
In my case, I usually dealt with power interruptions, having no power for at least 5hrs almost twice a month gives gpu failure undetected upon backon and needs constant pullout , pullin for a reset,it so freakin pain in the ass when it happens to 3-5 rigs and im out of location.
1387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Do You Cashout BitCoins? on: October 21, 2017, 04:58:24 AM
Hello, i'm kind of new into crypto currency, I am currently trading on few exchanges. But i noticed all of the exchanges use bitcoin to deposit and withdraw, also no matter what coin you trade use bitcoins. So when you decide to withdraw your bitcoin and convert to USD, how do you go it? I don't see any option in any exchange, which is very weird.

Weird, how did you do BTC deposits for trading without going to local exchange? anyways, saw your sig, Find any local exchange that accepts bitcoin, it varies for each location and country you live, just withdraw BTC from trading exchanges going to local exchange.

what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0

Well after putting this together after two day I got to turn it on tonight.  Although in a freak accident my daughter knocked a closet door loose that fell into my cards and knocked them over and out of their risers.  Terrifying moment but everything survived.  Checked everything and benchmarked all cards to ensure they were properly working.  2 hours into mining and going strong.  I think I ave everything covered

4x 1070 MSI Gaming getting between 1835-1859 sol/S

All cards running at 60 C or less except one I cant get to go below 65 stays below 69 thought

Settings
70% Power
+100 core
+300 memory
Fans between 85 for 3 cards and 100 on my hottest card.

What happened? Is simply a consequence of the fork or is there something I am missing?

Its obviously the effect of the fork, we will still enjoy ETH pow for a year at least.

As in bitcoins...wallets like electrum or even online wallets like blockchain...we can generate thousands of addresses which belong to a single wallet...
But in ethereum in myetherwallet i see only one address belong to my wallet and no option to generate another address..
Is it possible ?? If yes then how ??

No its not possible.

1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Watts to high? Help not burn my house down. on: October 20, 2017, 04:39:02 AM
I used nicehash to test the rig. Will be using EWBF when I tweak everything.  More concerned with how I pulled 1057 watts and why?  I’m assuming it was because of the alternate power cord that was to small. After we shut down and pulled the semi melted cord out and replaced it with a 14 gauge server cable it dropped to around 840 watts for 10 mins on nicehash

Was using the wrong size cable the culprit? I thought they were interchangeable. Going to run 3 cards instead of 4 till I know what the cause of the large power draw to the wall was.

the thinner the wire, the more power it consumed, or other called it more power loss.

1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Watts to high? Help not burn my house down. on: October 20, 2017, 03:27:40 AM
Almost lit the dang house on fire.

Fired up the first rig and drew way more power than I thought almost resulting in a disaster.

4 MSI GTX 1070s
i5-6500
Asus B250
120gb SSD
1000w EVGA power supply

Ran benchmarks on NiceHash with no issue

Started mining and pulling 1059 watts.  Cable started melting (was my old power supply cable not the 1000 one)

Turned off and replaced with a server cable rated up to 1800 watts

I didnt expect to pull over 1000 watts with my setup and I hope it was a stupid mistake with the wrong PSU cable.

Any thoughts on why I am pulling so much power?  Only expect 600 total for the cards at the max and then maybe 150 for the remainder of the stuff.

are you using nicehash miner? try EWBF

also try other tweak in after burner.

this is a good read

1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX 1070 - What's the best coin to mine? on: October 20, 2017, 03:23:43 AM
i actually want to ask this question. in fact i build my PC for Gaming, but i want to mine if i can.
i have tried mining zcash with this graphic card , but i don't know how much profit i get, i never tried to mine 24 hour because i was worried if my graphic card are quickly demaged.

mining 24 hrs won't hurt that much on your GPU.

Quote
anyway is that zcash the best coin for mining with gtx 1070?
if i look in https://whattomine.com/ the best coin to mine with GTX 1070 right know is zencash with $2.49 profit?

Its an estimate and constantly changing depends on the difficulty and coin price. right now, probably yes
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: October 20, 2017, 01:06:45 AM
disgusting work!
the most problematic miner.

Really, I'm a bit surprised, you disgusted a miner working greatly to us and stable mining for a months.

after stopping the miner, the system begins to terribly buggy.

There you go, don't blame the miner, seems your system that is problematic indeed. anyways, you are free not to use it, if you deem buggy
1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's miner ETH fee removed (Win 64bit only) on: October 19, 2017, 10:30:43 PM

**5. Why did you do this?**
I made it for my own use because I wanted to try if its possible or how hard it would be. It turned out to be doable so I did it and used it for few days myself and then I decided I would share it.
I have rewrote it to make it useable for all users and make their mining easier. I have added about 60% code to check for stupid things users may do and much better error handling to ensure your mining will be absolutely flawless.

I guess you know what is proprietary CopyRights Infringement? you want us to involve with your illegal ways. better take it to yourself

The "ethical" issue of this thing..
If you have problem with this and you think this modification is not ethical. I have to say if Claymore didn't make milions dollars monthly of your 1-2% fees I would have agreed but in this case NO I don't think this is problem.
I doubt he could even notice! Why? Well I left a debug feature for people just like you this feature shows Claymore's wallets and show them in your miner console. So you can check his wallets and see for yourself how many bitcoins he make daily.
He has many wallets on many pools here is just one of them there is maybe 30+ of these you can look them up yourself. https://etherscan.io/address/0xc1c427cd8e6b7ee3b5f30c2e1d3f3c5536ec16f5

That is the fruit of his innovative and support approach, I am not actually defending claymore as I know him or not, its juts that he deserves what he got for writing friendly user miner.

why don't you wrote your own miner? there are open source ready for modifications out there.

rofl doubt claymore has it copyrighted or ANYTHING even close

1397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC profits on: October 19, 2017, 04:44:30 PM
Hi,

If i have 100USd now what should I invest it in to make about 5% everyday?
Purchase Bitcoins and hold it for a long time. You'll make more than 5%...

but not everyday, Hey OP, you want easy money ha, don't be in such a greed you might end up losing your 100USD instead of making profits. Learn to trade then realize how easy and hard to earn money.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: October 19, 2017, 04:32:13 PM
Such a banning won't happen with bitcoin. This has been growing good without much issues, so maybe in the short or long run the usage increases with more markets giving priority as an acceptable payment source. If a ban gets confirmed, surely that'll be a disappointment. Because lot many users have invested into bitcoin all their earnings.
Without much issues? You wrong there are lots of issues do arise on bitcoin ecosystem

What issues? issues that linked to the government? issues are the people trying to reverse bitcoin into centralized system.

Quote
but well it cant really stop bitcoin on its progress and banning is really nearly impossible specially if people would really stand out for their beliefs on bitcoins potential which would lead up on using it more and investing into it even more.

Of course they can ban within the localized area however it will still grow in other places, and they will leave behind by the disruptions.
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: A question about present and future on: October 19, 2017, 08:00:37 AM
Thanks for your reply.

I understand that for ETH the specs won't catch up but I am talking about the currencies having lesser complexity and the currencies that would launch in future.

Is hashing power of 6x 1060 6GB really insufficient.

Yes electricity is bit higher, but, is that really a showstopper?

based on the mining calculator you will earn 5$ as of the moment with this specs, however, it is a game changer once the difficulty spikes up and price fluctuations.

it is still you who will decide.
