1381  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best BTC wallet? on: August 15, 2015, 07:43:38 PM
i my self has only used blockchain and coinbase so far .... but i would also like to try others Smiley
If you're interested in trying out other wallets, client wallets I'd recommend are Bitcoin Core, Multibit and Armory.

Bitcoin Core for the standard look of a Bitcoin wallet, with simple buttons to press. Fairly point-and-click.

MultiBit has it's own issues, so I'd recommend it less, but this is probably the easiest to use wallet I've seen.

Armory is the hardest of the three to use, however it has multiple security layers that are great for storing large amounts of Bitcoin. This one is my personal favorite, if you don't mind having to set things up for a little while.

I don't know a whole lot about other online wallets other than coinbase and blockchain, so take any online wallet opinions I have with a grain of salt.
the only feature i wish multibit had would be the ability to spend from specific addresses; the current multibit 0.5.18 doesnt let you do this, although i havent checked out multibit HD yet. secondly, coinbase is not a wallet. if you make the argument that "i can put my coins there so its a wallet" youre wroong, if you do not control your own private keys, you do not control your money, and therefore it is not a wallet. i would also advise not using blockchain.info as they are an inept company that accepts spoofed and false transactions into their ledger.
1382  Economy / Gambling / Re: Introducing Btcmines - beautiful minesweeper game on: August 15, 2015, 07:38:43 PM
You will need to lower your house edge significantly to be competitive against other mine sites. With 1000 bits and 24 mines, I could win 23750 bits on diggit, 23039 on satoshimines but just 21600 on your site, and not to mention that two sites are a lot more trustworthy.
there's also nothing offered by this site over the other two you mentioned; basically no reason to play on this site unless drastic improvements are made and incentives are given.
1383  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] SR.MEMBER ACCOUNT on: August 15, 2015, 07:27:18 AM
you might want to remove the date registered and put a range on the activity instead (300+), exact details like that make it easy for people to find out which account you're selling.
1384  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I go about purchasing a large amount of bitcoins on: August 15, 2015, 03:47:23 AM
I'm not an expert but if you have 500k to spend I'd suggest moving into something like Litecoin or a few other coins. You can always do the shapeshift.io if you want to swap them out for btc.  Even just posting this you're probably a target so becareful of any links someone sends you. Check Trust ratings.
keep in mind that shapeshift.io has  limits on how much can be converted, and are limited by their own bankroll of a specific coin. if op has that much to spend, this could be an issue should he need to convert massive amounts at once, at which point an exchange would be the only option.
1385  Economy / Lending / Re: PRO LENDER I need a PRO loan (EMERGENCY) [COLLATERAL] on: August 15, 2015, 03:38:24 AM
Alvin Fahriza has one loan with me! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=926825.msg12129807#msg12129807 How could you use his account as collateral? I will confirm with him!
op is just  impersonating and trolling, in case you didnt guess already. the way op types and the way AF types are completely  different as well.
1386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best sites/chats/anywhere to put your gambling affiliate links? on: August 15, 2015, 03:29:32 AM
something off the top of my head: maybe put a banner ad on freebitco.in? the site has a fairly large user base and i think the rate for advertising was fairly low the last time i checked, 12 cents per 1000 impressions or something.
1387  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.03 BTC LOAN for Pro Lender on: August 14, 2015, 11:18:33 PM
i am being for the pro lender
did you got your money before?you give loan to many people .5btc+
he lends to his alts. there's no need for him to get his money back. and no proof  of repayment has been posted for the majority of his loans either.
1388  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.03 BTC LOAN for Pro Lender on: August 14, 2015, 11:10:14 PM
looks like manyproofs is online again... and this guy just made an account hoping to get something out of it.

I think it's more like it's an alt of ManyProofs... but I can't say that I'm 100% positive.
im thinking its an alt too since the account actually got the money, manyproofs seemingly only sends 'monies' to his alts and people that he knows he will get the money back from.

1390  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online bitcoin wallet on: August 14, 2015, 10:42:12 PM
To tell what is the best wallet must have in consideration to many factors. But for me the best bitcoin wallet is coinbase. Even is a bitcoin wallet which is a web wallet and the bitcoins are not in your hands but in the hands of the third parts.

I heard that coinbase not allow trancsaction to the gambling site, isn't it?
please correct me if iam wrong
coinbase also tracks how you spend your coins, and im not exactly too welcome of unwelcome people investigating where i spend my money. coinbase isnt a wallet, its an exchange that you can have your money stored in.

I think you're reading more into QS's messages than there actually is. Hexcoin's primary concern is not that he and his alt accounts were discovered -- it's how they were discovered and how he might avoid this with his next round of accounts. I don't have any more say over what QS writes than I do over which way the wind blows, but while he may offend some people, I much prefer that situation than the one where scammers slip through the cracks and end up stealing peoples' money. I hope you understand this.
i think the same, considering hexcoin is actively trying to purchase new accounts: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1151261.msg12136948#msg12136948
1392  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what is the best online bitcoin wallet on: August 14, 2015, 09:11:45 PM
I like coinbase. It was one of the best.
coinbase isnt a webwallet, its an exchange.

as long as you can store bitcoins there it is still considered a web wallet IMO
and if you don't control your own private keys, I don't consider it a wallet. the point of a wallet is to have control over your own money, using coinbase as a wallet means you're giving control of your money over to them and being completely dependant on them to send your coins for you.
1393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: best way for earning bitcoins on: August 14, 2015, 08:57:55 PM
Gambling ....Smiley))

gambling and earning are two entirely separate things; earning is generally risk free, while gambling is a simple game of chance. i dont know why people tend to think of gambling as some sort of source for income, but unless you are a professional poker player, gambling is not earning by any means.

I was actually going to bring up the poker analogy. There is some grey area between games that are purely chance and those that are partially or majority skill. I would consider poker to be a game of skill no matter whether or not you are a professional. I eeked out 5-figure/year earnings from Full Tilt before Black Friday in 2011 for a couple years and I wouldn't have considered myself a "pro."
I agree, it is mostly about skill, but luck plays a factor in what cards you're dealt. however, it ultimately comes down to the players ability to make the right plays, bluff, etc. most of the people here think martingale is earning for some crazy reason, when a game against the house is a game designed to make you lose.
1394  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: pleas is there anyway to earn bitcoins without faucets i have 13 $ btc on: August 14, 2015, 08:02:26 PM
i suggest you to build a website and using bitmedia.io and a-ads to earn bitcoin, thats my best way to earn bitcoin
if and only if op has the skills to build a website on his own would that be possible; with 13 dollars he could barely get the domain name, but it would have to be a good one to attract traffic, assuming he can get free hosting somehow. not too realistic with such a small budget.

1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: August 14, 2015, 08:16:40 AM
Why is this thread still active?
Dice is addicting. End of story....
i really dont see whats so addicting about dice, its boring if anything. all there is is high/low and you get to change the multiplier.
1397  Economy / Lending / Re: loan of .025 for .03 back by 8/20/13 on: August 13, 2015, 07:41:16 PM
i also have sold a miner on here that i had to ship out and the buyer received.
cool story, do you have proof that you communicated with the buyer as well as txid's, photos of the miner, etc? basically proof that you sold a miner as you claim. such a trade isnt even in your trust profile. at the very least, you should make up better lies.
1398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Advertisement places on: August 13, 2015, 06:45:27 PM

 Hi ,

There was a website where people put up temporary banners on their websites and the people who would like to put their banners on websites checked a list and see how many visitors and clicks the website and the temporary banner got. First one was freebitco.in I guess and it moved down from there.

 Anyone remembers that?

more place a-ads.com , bitmedia.io
but i prefer u to use bitmedia,,
my friend get 0.01BTC/day from bitmedia Smiley
0.01 from a ptc site sounds like an awful lot of work, considering the minimal pay they give. any idea as to how much time your friend spends on bitmedia for that 0.01 every day?
1399  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Block Explorer do you use ? on: August 13, 2015, 05:29:53 PM
i use blockchain.info together with its wallet i never had any problems with it and i wish i never will, they always provide the best services and its easy to use it
you should really reconsider using blockchain.info, theyve been accepting transactions without verifying that they are legitimate, valid transactions, leading to a whole myriad of spoofed transactions. https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3frn1d/satoshis_coins_have_not_moved_blockchaininfo_is/
1400  Other / Meta / Re: positive trusts disappearing? on: August 13, 2015, 01:08:27 AM
Why do i see Negatives on this guy , seems he just got it.
So it was trust farming after all :/

Not necessarily, I think OP doesn't understand that since his friends aren't on default trust, he doesn't get green trust.
his "friends" are most likely his alt accounts judging from his behavior in the lending section.
