1381  Economy / Economics / Re: In crypto everybody pay high tx fee, no matter rich or poor people on: March 05, 2021, 02:11:39 PM
I guess you still lack knowledge about crypto transactions and their fees. There is no certain or exact amount to pay and we could actually set it on our own base on the speed of the transaction that we want. You could set lower gas fees if that's bothering you. It isn't like 10% of every transaction that we make.

I don't know if the OP is just inexperienced with eth network because his analogy was not right. And I hope by now, he realized what he stated was wrong. And take a look at the useful links provided by some users here. I understand that if you don't have the actual experience in using eth network, you will have wrong approach in terms of gas fees. And right now, a lot of eth users are still complaining about gas fees. I have had eth transactions a long time ago, so I don't have recent experience that I can share it with here.
1382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔵[ANN] MAGIC BALANCER | $MGB | Options for Decentralized Finance | PRESALE LIVE on: March 05, 2021, 04:22:55 AM
does this project has a soft cap and hard cap mate ?
or this project will run with all the money collected during the crowdsale stage, even if this project collected low funds
because i read if unsold token are burned after presale
regards
No soft cap 30 ETH/300BNB hardcap , we already collected 11 BNB a day. project can run this liquidity but I'm sure we'll sale more token during presale. I am started AFFILIATE program to raise fund. You can join here ; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5321242.msg56476997#msg56476997

DeFi is slowing down already. Do you think you can still survive in this market? Your attaining small numbers here. Hopefully, this will not end bad for those investors of your project. How can you assure that this project will live longer so they can still get their initial investments and their profits at least?
1383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that a new ATH is coming or a crash? on: March 04, 2021, 11:50:14 PM
When op created this thread bitcoin was around $37k. But within  a month, bitcoin finally done to cross $50k landmark even $52.5k as new ath. In 2017 bitcoin down from $20k and took 3years to Recovey the price where bitcoin is pump equally but within a month and half! Thats the speed of bitcoin at this moment.pretty sure that market isn't going to crash but we are going to be the witness of $100k landmask very soon timeframe

We achieved ATH about 58k+, not 52.5k. So basing from OP's posting, bitcoin's ATH came as it increased from 37500 to 58k. Right now, we are experiencing such correction but look at the price, we are still enjoying more than 45k, which we never had in the previous years. It crashed but we are not hitting rock bottom here. There are too many stakeholders now and I don't think we will come again below 30 or 20k.
1384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Rally Starts Today! on: March 04, 2021, 11:06:41 PM
For now, XRP is too risky. Frankly, I think it will see even more red. People who do not want to lose their money should stay away. Contrary to popular belief, XRP will be lower. Need to be careful.
Mind checking the price and movement of XRP since yesterday?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/

So where is the continues Red?  Bitcoin Spike back to 51,000$ again and so as XRP climbing little by little.

XRP is gaining a lil bit for the past 24 hrs. Though this is a centralized coin, I don't want this coin to die in the market. I am not a holder of this coin but I use this coin from time to time for transfer purposes, from one exchange to another as they have very minimal fee as compared to other popular alts. We don't know how long we need to wait to see if XRP has very good battle with SEC. But for now, I don't think it is good move to buy XRP.
1385  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 04, 2021, 10:25:24 PM
Economically speaking I believe we now do possess the technology necessary to create enough abundance for all the people in this world. Yet, we do not have competent people to apply all the technological wonders humanity created. Through capital allocation people and governments (which are composed by people) "enforce" in a smaller or higher size their view of the world. The thing is we do not have enough wealthy people with courage and kindness. Many people go on the defensive side when they become rich enough and stop innovating. I'm not saying that is not alright, but there is a lack of people with a good, healthy vision of the world that also possess enough capital to make a meaningful change.

Unfortunately, you can only find few people sharing their wealth to the public. Most of them wanted to accumulate more and more for them. If these wealthy people will only help these poor people, we won't see them suffering from poverty. But I guess, that's how humanity is. It is designed to have rich and poor people in it. And it is how you change your own fate for the better and not relying from others to carve your own future. Sad reality but I don't think the mentality of people will change.
1386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the things to look for when buying Altcoin? on: March 04, 2021, 09:46:56 PM
Apart from the obvious facts like checking the team and checkign what the project actually wants to deliver you should always check the token utility and the tokenomics.
What use case does the token have? Do you need it to use their platform, do you maybe get some extra rewards when you hold that token like the Bonus you get for holding kucoin-shares for example.
Also check how many token does the team keep for themself and how long they are locked.

In addition with that, I prefer for the altcoin to have the use case in the market that is already up and running. Many projects can just pretend they have use case but they can't implement it to reality. So for me, if the project is active and working, the better. Rather than waiting for months and months for them to develop their product, which most of the time, will never materialized.
1387  Economy / Exchanges / Re: USE BINANCE Trading on: March 04, 2021, 10:34:25 AM
All Traders always use Binance crypto currency exchange and Everybody know about this exchange. When i was new on crypto world then i heard about Binance exchange.
I'd say most but not all, well, it's newbie friendly that's why this is the widely used exchange that is why it's well-known. Well, the referral system was good too.

Yes, don't say all. Because when I was still new here, I had no opportunity to use Binance but I used medium exchanges where I can trade my tokens or coins with. Because you will find out soon that not all alts especially small projects are not listed in Binance. So you have no choice but use the exchange where your coins are listed with. And unfortunately, not all projects can go thru Binance's requirements. But definitely, I will vouch for Binance if you are trading with popular coins, they have very good liquidity and your coins are safe in their platform.

1389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $FROGGO project in the DeFi world 🐸 ( PRESALE ) on: March 04, 2021, 01:32:57 AM
Most community-driven projects have the difficulty in progressing with their developments. Do you have dedicated team that can take care of your objectives here even if it is community-driven? I have seen that you already raised some money. Though it is only small, I believe it will help in your development phase. Now, I am seeing projects building under BSC platform. I guess this is smart move to build under this network to avoid high fees like in eth platform.
1390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum gas problem to be resolved in July on: February 23, 2021, 11:11:47 PM
I hope their target is achieved on time, without being delayed. however, Ethreum users cannot wait for months to enjoy low-cost transactions.
Current ETH transaction fees are absolutely insane, yesterday for fast transactions it could cost $ 30 USD in transaction fees, what if the token to be sent was less than $ 50 USD? Of course it's better to be quiet.

That's a long way to go but at least, we know they are addressing this problem. However, for other platforms, this is good time to promote their network offering small or competitive fees like the BSC. Up until the gas fee problem is resolved under eth, we will see other networks to gain support from developers or crypto traders. Right now, it is not smart decision to move your assets under eth network, as you may end up paying unreasonable fees for nothing.
1391  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC HIT $50000🎯 on: February 19, 2021, 10:13:00 PM
OP:...another ATH soon or the day will be remembered?
Undoubtedly, the $ 50k was a critical emotional barrier that led many to believe in that figure as the maximum of 2021, but the reality is that this year it will be remembered for the last ATH at a 5 digit price.

CMC: ATH= $ 56,145.59* a year ago $ 4,106.98 /...
CMC:coinmarketcap.com
*$56,113.65 / latest.

Wow! One year passed and bitcoin is flying high. Pandemic gave a lot of positive impact on crypto. Now, people are appreciating crypto more than ever. Can't wait to see local shops accepting crypto as their payment method. And I believe a lot of them are already starting to integrate crypto, now, that most of them are avoiding cash payment, owed to covid virus.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk changed the market circles on: February 13, 2021, 11:49:09 PM
we know that there is ups and downs in the market. But this time market correction not come yet.

Due to elon mask entering to this market so big bear market not come unlike 2018 jan ?

He will make an impact now that he is here, but a bear market is something that even a man like Elon Musk can stop unless he can commit half of his fortune to Cryptocurrency which I doubt he will, I have a feeling that Musk will continue to play the market but there are some risk involve playing with what he is shilling, I hope he stops this shilling and works with the betterment of the industry if he is that serious to get involved here.
He has a lot of money if ever he loses, he never minds it.
Elon Musk is now creating a huge impact not only in crypto but the mindest of the people. If he says Doge will make a 1000% incline, people will possibly buying Doge without seeing the possible trap awaited.

I don't like what he does actually but we can't stop others to love what he did. The hypes he created give a huge profit to the people and that seems it changing a lot. But I was thinking about the negative impact after this.

This is not good especially for those newbies in crypto. They thought they will get rich quick but most of them don't know what they are getting into. So yeah, I read some of the comments from Elon's tweets, that they lost money because of him. People should educate themselves when it comes to crypto and not rely with famous people when deciding to invest their hard-earned money.
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HolDeFi - The new era of DeFi combined with CeFi on: February 09, 2021, 10:05:32 PM
The minimum purchase of a private sale is very high for $ 20k, that's a very large amount, like I personally will pass it and wait for the public sale, it will definitely be lower even though the price is quite high but at least I can participate to support the HoldDefi project

indeed, and its better for this project to reduce the min purchase for private sale stage, maybe $1k - $2K
so, small investors who get interested with this project will have a chance to buy in private sale stage

We will see if they can sell during private sale at min investment of $20k, if they lower it down, it means they are not selling that fast. Very few can afford their min investment so maybe they have target investors only. But these days if you don't know the project, hard to shell out $20k as you don't know the capability of the dev team. And in the first place, we don't know yet if this platform can indeed deliver.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1inchExchange - DEX aggregator and a single point of entry for DeFi on: February 05, 2021, 08:42:11 PM
What's the uniqueness of your project that can not be found in other project that's been released so far?

Seems that 1inchexchange team is not very active here in the forum. But they are already listed in Binance, and learned this project because they gave generous airdrop from their traders who did trade last year. Now, after that, I don't know what's next for them. Someone should answer some of the vital questions here if they want to attract more traders on their platform.
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Private Sale][Defi] Quai Dao | 🚀 DEFI ACCELERATOR 🚀 on: February 04, 2021, 10:47:59 PM
Okay, it seems that tokpie has been eyeing this project and listing QUAI tokens there. Good enough for a start, I'm truly looking forward for another CEX, like Crex24 or Bitforex. Why CEX? because DEX like Uniswap is pain causer for a small trader right now. Tongue

Their reply

Quote
We got about 6 different offers from top 30 CEX exchanges to list, we are still negotiating.. but soon..

great 30 Cex want to list this project, i hope one of them is binance mate
by the way does this project have a plan for marketing campaign ?

I think what they meant about the statement 6 different offers from top 30 CEX exchanges, is that they received 6 offers from those exchanges listed as top 30, not 30 CEXs wanted to list this token. But anyway, right now, it is indeed better to list in CEX as the fees in DEX is quite unreasonable especially for small traders. Not practical to trade and pay exorbitant fees.
1396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 04, 2021, 12:39:56 PM
Very impressed that he's done interviews with Coindesk and everything.  Very cool, there's only so far that someone in his position can go promoting crypto but he seems to be taking it to his reasonable limits.

I don't think he was interested in crypto initially, but he's been wanting to bring tech jobs to Miami:

Suarez is hoping the move toward bitcoin may appeal to the tech industry and lead more high-tech companies to move to Miami.

He even said he wants Miami to invest in Bitcoin in the same article. He probably recognized that crypto was starting to boom, and he wanted to be one of the first to ride the wave and hopefully set up a hub as tech firms are leaving San Francisco. But yeah, regardless of his initial intentions, this can't be a bad thing for Bitcoin.

It says from the tweets that the Mayor is pushing their area to be crypto hub. He is recognizing that crypto revolution is already happening and a lot of blockchain projects are already existing. He is an open-minded politician and right now, we need more of this kind of politician to help the economy improve because of this pandemic. A lot of businesses are going digital and crypto is just around the corner to assist on this aspect.
1397  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KRAKEN - COINBASE down!!! on: January 29, 2021, 11:46:08 PM
It is not only those exchanges, there are also other exchanges that are down at the time when DOGE is pumping so significantly and highly. Is there any correlation? Where your asset is increased and you are willing to sell it in the market suddenly the market is down, because of the significant increase of certain coins? Well, this is may not make sense. However, it may be still others that have a similar situation.
ANd this down site is actually only felt in several moments. nut in the fact, this is very smashing t

I believe this is one of the strategies of exchanges when taking advantage of the situation in what's happening in the market. This is observed usually when there is massive change in price in the market, whether bitcoin, eth or doge and other alts. So be alert and make sure to put your funds in a safe and secure place always.
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Cardano (ADA) coin hit $10 During 2021? on: January 27, 2021, 11:23:32 AM
Ten dollars in a year? Nah I am not really looking for a price that is as high as that, if you said somewhere around one dollar or two that would have been more believable and not this ten dollars, that’s very high. Even the price right now is like half a dollar, I think somewhere around 0.40 when I checked it. And the highest price in a year isn’t more than that price.

Cardano is a really good project and the team are doing great, so I am looking forward that there will be some changes. But, not as high as you have predicted here because we need to be practical as little as possible to face all kind of situations. I will be happy if ADA hits $10 but from looking at the current price scenario and how ADA performing against the fluctuations of bitcoin markets, I doubt about reaching $10 in 2021.

But you know, in crypto, you will be surprised at how things turn out here. I won't close my doors for ADA to reach $10. But when you talk about reality right now, that price is quite hard to achieve. They need to conquer a lot of projects that will be built under their network, before we talk about their massive increase in price in the market. As they are one of the promising projects out there, for now, just be conservative with price predictions at the moment. So that means, maybe aim for $1 first.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: January 23, 2021, 09:22:02 PM
Sadly it was not still the end of the line for covid instead it made another new strain that is more potent and contagious than the old. The vaccine could only help on those who contracted the first strain buy not assuring of it works on the new strain.

And what I am sad about this, there are countries that kids haven't gotten out from their homes for 1 year because of this covid.  Because they are not allowed to go to parks, or malls or any commercial areas. Lucky for those who are living in rural areas where kids are free to play with neighbours. This is really a life changing event for a lot of us. I hope this vaccine will at least contain the covid infection so as to go back to our normal routine.
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: January 16, 2021, 08:48:09 PM
Hi Guys!

I bought ripple at $2.50 and i am at very high losses. I wanted to know if and when it will reach $3, $4 and if my stars shine $5 ?  Please help. I am being as much patient i can but i am honestly dying from the inside looking at the prices.
With all that XRP is facing right now, do we still hope that XRP will hit $ 5? if true, of course this is a very unlikely hope that will happen right now, I personally only hope that XRP will not be included in the altcoin scam category after all the events that have happened to Ripple right now and hope that the exchanger will not blacklist XRP from their list now, because in my opinion XRP is one of the stable altcoins which is pretty good so far apart from any legal issues that hit it.

All the hopes now are starting to go away because of their SEC problem. Now, we don't know what the future of XRP as a lot of exchanges are delisting them. How long are you gonna wait for them to resolve their issues?
