Not syncing... LOL just checked the source for vanitygen PUBKEY_ADDRESS = 29, // Dubstepcoin addresses start with W Nope they don't, 29 is C...obviously.

There is no cpu miner, coin yield would be very minimal too anyway. Might become more interesting around nfactor 14 though.
And the polo news are old already, the exchange is still alive and kicking, it wasn't even a real hack and way less lost than any other exchange hits, i wouldn't worry too much about it.

270x are interesting, 290 too (non x), i think 280x and 290 are the most used cards right now.

Yep, got one too, offline.
Update: Dont rent those, doesnt accept any other pool than his own, probably firewalled shut LOL

No it wouldnt. It would answer maybe 2 or 3 of the questions I listed and only partially. The parameters of the POS coins are set by the developer and we still have every 'Joe' and 'Jane' guessing what they are.
Read some source?

Diff will probably screw up 3-4 more times unless the impact won't be big enough anymore or ppl just stop mining...

Had the same issue on several windows machines, first make sure you are running v 5.0x, if not download newest qt from first post. Close cachecoin-qt, goto %appdata%\cachecoin and delete everything except wallet.dat (IMPORTANT!) and peers.dat, it will resync the blockchain and worked 100% so far (tested by 3 ppl ^^) Oh and while you are at it, might be a good opportunity to backup your wallet.dat ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Sorry taling about the MAXimum supply Unlimited...someone can do some math for coin generation per month (year) if they want to, might be close to 1 mill per year, maybe less.

-- scrypt won't work with most miners, as someone said earlier you get share above target -> wrong kernel.
p2pool doesn't return that message, that's why you get accepted but the pool discards them internally as share above target, the cgminer in the first topic has to be used with --scrypt-jane or it won't work.

What's the hell? ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif) Whats wrong? Looks like a normal p2p day, you get the share of the block mined and it matures in your wallet.

About p2pool, the whole p2pool nodes act as one pool but in order to commence an "attack" it has to be from one node alone since no one can't control the others. The hashrate can still be seen as individual pools althought they are connected at solving blocks. So there should be no problem with the individual nodes going to big ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Short: Solving blocks as a team, fighting solo But vertoe is right, if your hashrate is low better join one of the smaller p2pools, like i said they all solve the blocks together so your payout speed won't go down but the overall pool diff is lower so more shares will get accepted and your payout will be more steady ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) And hooray CACH! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
