Network hash has gone from 1.77 GHs to 4.05 GHs within the last 15 hours! I so wish this was Scrypt Jane.
Now 6.2 GHs...

I was going to start mining this coin back when it came out, but forgot about it. So disappointing in myself.
If my hash rate is 2,000 kh per second, how long would it take for me to mine one coin?

at a common rate of 500kh/s it's about 0.8-1 coin a day... so it'd be 3.5-4coins a day for you...

A smart phone wallet would probably be very vital for getting the coins out to as many people as possible, and will demonstrate the flexibility and exciting future cryptos hold. In this scenario a mobile wallet will be very important. So if community feels like providing one or some of the bounty portion of the premine gets dedicated to paying for such would be great. (android, since rotten fruit company has declared war on cryptos apparently)

And how are you going to distribute the coins to everyone?
Electronic National ID scheme - provided by the government, but useable by anyone. Is this database online ? I've highlight your answer in bold All Icelanders, as well as foreign citizens residing in Iceland and corporations and institutions, have a Personal Identification Number (Icelandic: Kennitala, lit. identification number) identifying them in the National Registry. The number is composed of 10 digits, of which the first six are the individual's birth date in the format DDMMYY. The next two digits are chosen at random when the kennitala is allocated, the 9th digit is a check digit, and the last digit indicates the century in which the individual was born (for instance, '9' for the period 1900–1999, or '0' for the period 2000–2099). An example would be 120174-3389, the person being born on the twelfth day of January 1974. The Icelandic system is similar to that in other Scandinavian and European countries, but the use of the identification number is unusually open and extensive in Iceland. Businesses and universities use the kennitala as a customer or student identifier, and all banking transactions include it. The National Registry (Icelandic: Þjóðskrá) oversees the system. A database matching names to numbers is freely accessible (after login) on all Icelandic online banking sites. Given this openness, the Kennitala is never used as an authenticator. It is worth noting that the completeness of the National Registry eliminates any need for Iceland to take censuses.

There is an android wallet at works already. I would link the thread but the forum is down at the moment.

This is to be expected. I suspect multipools will ddos the standard pools so they can mine themselves. Soon you will see them selling "10 AUR batches for 0.3" or whatever the current highest exchange price is at the moment. I've found p2pools are the most reliable in these situations because there is no one single point to be ddos'ed.
