That's sad i never put big amount such that on exchange site and i never hold my bitcoin there because if that happens im the one who gonna lose my bitcoin and you can't blame the owner of the website for not securing the website because they always tell alibi that the hacker hacked their system and for me exchange website is not that safe. Well that is not new, good thing here in my country that the exchange site that I am using was registered in the government and has a lot of permit to operate. No the Banks cannot make Bitcoin disappear. Bitcoin is a currency made by the people and for the people there isn't a way to just make it disappear.
