13881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to find out who sent me this BTC on: February 28, 2014, 12:23:15 PM
Wow Danny - thank you so much for helping me with this - a really useful post. I will do as you say and see if it takes me anywhere... I will come back to you if i have any problems!

Thank you again!

Do you really want to know that much by going through all those?  Cheesy. I'd just appreciate the free money and move on.

There should have a bet "primedice will release new version before April 2014"
Cheesy

I think this will just be another case of Ready Soon™, but it's not something you'd want to rush any way. You don't want a buggy site that could potentially be exploited.
13883  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Song are you Listening To? on: February 28, 2014, 12:19:22 PM
blurred lines!

That song is such a rape anthem. I get the overwhelming urge to do a sexual assault whenever I hear it  Grin.
13884  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who says banks are totally useless! on: February 28, 2014, 12:17:28 PM
Funny story! But it won't work in reality  Grin

Would it not? If you rented out a Lamborghini and a million dollar pad for the weekend you'll appear as millionaire to a lot of people even though you'd only need to spend a few thousand to achieve that look. I can see how gold digggers would fall for that, so why not this?

If the rates are reduced since the sig isn't as big, I can understand that. I'm not gonna be really happy about it though.

If the rate does get reduced for the lower members, I hope that we can at least get paid the full amount for the eligible posts that we did make before the forced sig changes.

I agree with everything here. I wouldn't blame Stunna for reducing the rates to lower members as I would under the circumstances, but hopefully he'll honour this month's payments or for the posts we made up until the changes at least.

I have the same opinion as you do. After all, we didn't knew the rules for signatures would change and this month has been ongoing for 11 days in which a lot of us have made a lot of effort to contribute by making constructive posts.
He didn't know either, though. The fairest way to do it would be to pay the normal amount for posts before the change and the reduced amount for posts after the change, but this would take a lot of work.

The easiest and fairest way - well, to at least us  Wink - IMO would be to just honour this month's rate and change it for the next term, although I would understand if Stunna thought he wasn't getting his moneys worth of advertising now after the changes and lowered the rates.
13886  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Office: UK vs US version on: February 28, 2014, 12:03:58 PM
I love the U.S office but I'm from the U.K. I just can't fucking stand Ricky Gervais voice, especially his laugh

Ricky Gervais' laugh is one of the most glorious things I've ever heard!

The UK version doesn't have the (younger) Pam Beesly.   Grin

Jenna Fischer is very cute. I do have a soft spot for her, although Lucy Davis aka Dawn is cute too:

Edit: not actually sure about this one now. Most other posts seem original.

It'd be funny if a bot copied one of the posts in this thread haha.

Every post since the 19th contained a point already brought up in the thread, except slightly re-worded. Banned the account, but left the posts from the 19th and earlier in place. Same for pakotako.

It seems the bots are getting smarter.

Looks like a Donator account was maybe hacked:

I have too see 12 years a slave, looks like a good movie. As for Hobbit I slept through the first part, can't make myslelf watch the second one. The Bilbo's house party, which in the book is just a few pages, takes forever to watch in the movie. He made it soo boring there's not even a shadow of LOTR epicness left in this movie.

13888  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: February 28, 2014, 11:38:18 AM
Well if it's a good movie it doesn't matter really.
There are lots of movies that are only 90-something minutes and are wasted time, for instance A Good Day to Die Hard  Sad

Most Bruce Willis movies stink nowadays...I don't know what was the last good movie that he did...

Probably the two he did with M Knight Shamalamadingdong.

Can hardly find this thread anymore due to all the ponzi threads. Will update the services thread later today.

Why don't you just view 'show new replies to your posts' or just find it through your profile and last posts? It'll always be in the last couple usually as you post mostly in these two threads.

That was more of a sarcasm Cheesy . And i agree Cheesy We heard some rumors of pd3 today ? Hmmm...

Oh haha. I've just got up *rubs sleep from eyes*. I did wonder why he'd try find the threads in the forum everytime  Cheesy.

And "rumours" like when there's rumours gox are going to open withdrawals again? Haha
13891  Other / Off-topic / Re: We would like to Sponser a Mining/Pooling Site on: February 28, 2014, 09:07:23 AM
Put the request over in the marketplace or maybe mining section. I'm sure you'll get some interest there.

I found an amazing ebook piracy site where all ebooks are about 95% off. Very large selection. It takes Bitcoin. Would it be OK to share it?

95% off? They're 100% off on Piratebay (other brands are available).
13894  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 27, 2014, 10:31:17 PM
Wait, I was thinking that one would still be paid per post, or is that not the case?

My thought about it getting you punished was just that it might be seen as a deliberate attempt to evade the system.

How would it be trying to evade the system? And what would be paid by post?

I don't think it is trying to evade the system, but I do think it shouldn't be used for advertising. It's a more "personal" kind of text.

You could argue signatures are personal. If it's truly personal then people should be free to use it as they wish and for whatever they wish.
13895  Other / Off-topic / Re: Doctor Who!!!! on: February 27, 2014, 10:21:56 PM
I've not actually even seen a full episode of the 'new' version of Dr Who - and by new I mean the 2005 version. I used to watch the older series all the time as a kid though.

I'm a little bit in love with Karen Gillan though:

She's nice - but just need some hair, or you like it  fully hairless? Cheesy

I'd take her with or without.

Here's her with hair:

13896  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: February 27, 2014, 10:02:56 PM
Maybe we can put a PrimeDice link in our 'personal text' part as well for higher visibility?

I was thinking that is a viable option; however, in the current witchhunt-the-paid-sig-people-because-that-will-solve-all-of-our-problems atmosphere, I think that would get you banned, deleted, whatever post-haste.

I can't see why that would get you banned.

Yeah, I think we'd be fine with that. People have used them to advertise stuff before. User Tomatocage, a pretty reputable escrower, even has [This space for rent, PM me] there.
13897  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Bitcoins on basic phones on: February 27, 2014, 10:00:53 PM
Your friend lied, mining from a phone isn't viable.

This is surely a troll thread. Then again, you never can tell nowadays  Grin.

I'm new to the forums, but not bitcoin.  I've recently joined because I'm a grad student doing a research project on cryptocurrencies.  I'm hoping to find a lot of useful info around here!  Looking forward to that blessed time when I'm granted access to the rest of the site....

You can already post everywhere. There are no newbie restrictions anymore.

I was expecting the third option to be I prefer a flan lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtWuiHyeG3I

Hahaha, that scene is so typical of Brent's character - the moment he hears that Neil made the cake his face turns. Just pure genius!

Yeah, Neil is his arch enemy. Watch him get demolished here:
