Is CSC open for withdrawals? Big Vern claims 80 wallets are open. If possible, someone please try and report back. I don't have any balance there, so I can't check.
No it is not. Wallet offline.

LOL. FOR THE RECORD. It's not a death threat. It's a fucked up 'meme' post that went viral some years ago. It's posted thousands of times across the internet. Even in this thread pages back by other members. http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/navy-seal-copypastaAbout Navy Seal Copypasta (also known as the “Marine Copypasta,” “Internet Tough Guy Copypasta” and “Gorrila Warfare Copypasta”) is a facetious message containing a series of ridiculous claims and grandiose threats that portray the poster as an Internet tough guy stereotype. In the original post, the writer claimed to be a former Navy Seal with a long history of combat experiences, using comical typos and hyperboles like “Gorrila Warfare,” “300 Confirmed Kills” and “I can kill you in over 700 ways with just my bare hands.” Since its emergence in mid-2012, the copypasta has spawned a variety of spin-off stories, similar to the John Copypasta meme. Origin The copypasta is believed to have originated on the military and weapons enthusiast image board Operator Chan sometime in 2010. The earliest archived posting was submitted on November 11th, 2010 to 4chan’s /jp/[4] (Otaku Culture) board, in which the poster claimed to have seen the message previously on Operator Chan. Oh, was not aware! ![Embarrassed](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/embarrassed.gif)

I came here to ask if anyone is able to log into their cryptsy account? Seems that 2fa is broken....
....then I see that death threat from peonminer. I understand the anger but that is going way too far.

so is cryptsy still charging fees for withdrawals?
Yes, they are still charging WD fees. Took out all my Craftcoin...dead coin so it's not worth anything but it worked. On a lighter topic...I get the best memes on this forum. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Did anyone ever verify that that million dollar house was in fact Pauls? I see no reason not to put a lien on it if it is... as they will have to sell it in the divorce... Just saying...
100% verified, but Florida may have laws on the books disallowing liens on homes due to any event. I believe Florida is one of the hardest states if not THE hardest state to get a lien on a personal home...would have to check with the legal department here at work but I recall it being mentioned multiple times over the years.

Here's another untouched on question that needs to be answered
Shouldn't MN shares be continually being paid.... cause you know there is actual mining going on? Those shares are listed on cryptsy but shouldn't the owners still be getting their mining payouts?
My last MN payment was on 2015-12-09 16:59:57 They stopped with no announcement or explanation.

Okay, RickStoner (the radio host) says he will be providing a recording, but just in case, I did my best to record the entire thing as well. Towards the end VLC crashed and I missed about 25 seconds, but from what I can tell there wasn't anything interesting in there, just horus and rickstoner looking for questions.
Recording is uploading to Mega now for anyone to download. All rights reserved to RickStoner/DogecoinDarkRadio and Horus, this is strictly for archival purposes. I'll warn you, it's over 2 hours and just about 1.7GB .wav. If anyone has suggestions for streaming it instead i'm open to that. I'll make another post when I have the recording uploaded.
EDIT: exporting in mp3 instead since apparently that's a lot smaller.
OMG, the host was terrible! He did not have an understanding of what "fractional reserve" means and the questions he was asking in that regard were a joke. I'm surprised Horus agreed to be interviewed by this guy and that he continued after some of the questions asked. I get the impression that Horus is young and generally unexperienced in life. I imagine this situation is teaching him some valuable lessons. Horus, if you do any further interviews pay attention instead of reading the IRC chat. If you decide to answer a question asked online, verbally restate the question so the listening audience knows what you are answering. Make sure the person interviewing you has the appropriate knowledge to conduct a proper interview.

Horus interview with DogecoinDark and RickStoner. I do not claim any copyright on this recording, just doing it for archival purposes. My VLC process crashed at the end and I lost about 20 seconds but it was just rickstoner and horus stalling and looking for questions from listeners, nothing too interesting. 153MB .mp3 download. Link: https://mega.nz/#!rIASVKIY!TzgknO0kL_tSAuSZVGOHP8XB32W6MQ3gfDdgQPrmZIE https://mega.nz/#!rIASVKIY!TzgknO0kL_tSAuSZVGOHP8XB32W6MQ3gfDdgQPrmZIEI fixed the link. BTW, thanks, and if you have time can you pen a transcript in Nigerian for our brothers there can learn how not to conduct nefarious activities? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Not working for me... I click download through browser and nothing pops up... shows the file name though... do I need a mega account or? Any other locations for the file? Yes, use chrome. Edge does not work with mega.

Maybe it's crazy but this and other similar situations of coins being stolen demonstrates the benefit of having a way to reverse transactions.
Perhaps we should consider a mechanism to reverse a transaction through a vote or consensus. Haven't fully thought out how this could work but it is something to consider.
Something could be designed to allow miners to reverse a specific transaction (and all subequest tx's) through majority consensus in extreme situations such as this.
Mistakes and thefts happen. Fiat banks have the ability to correct mistakes and reverse transactions unless the funds are withdrawn for cash.
I dunno...just thinking out loud.
The only issue with reverse transactions, bitcoin would turn into a world like PayPal where people buy items, then immediately try and reverse a transaction. This can be abused to hell. This is completely contrary to the whole point of crypto. Might as well also suggest a central authority to determine which transactions are legit and which ones need to be reversed.
Exactly charge back hell ! Are we having a game here of shouting bad ideas ?
Sorry if I missed any quotes. Yes, but majority miner consensus is difficult to achieve...it would work using the same mechanism in place necessary for a fork of BTC itself and we can see how hard that has been with the recent BIP 101 failure. It would be useless on coins with little hashrate since it would be too easy to fork but those coins are worthless without a decent hashrate anyways. ...but this is conversion to be had in a different topic where cooler heads prevail. This proposed change (BIP) to do a consensus reversal may be exactly what's needed to improve acceptance and the security of BTC. IMHO ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

This exploit was posted here by grue on January 25th, 2015: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=935898.0dooglus created the GitHub issue a couple months later on March 8th, 2015. https://github.com/alerj78/lucky7coin/issues/1Who would have thought cryptsy was running multiple wallets on the same server....not totally surprised to be honest. Their cold wallet storage claims were false...again, not surprised. Edit: If the story is even true. I don't think anyone involved has any credibility left. Absolute and complete gross negligence.

Do you have the addresses Crypsy owns? Would be interesting to see how much they have.

Someone dumped over 31K on cryptsy right before they closed trading.

I am reasonably certain that cryptsy has been hacked by the people behind cryptsy-refund. They have gained access to at least some or all customer email and phone numbers. They may have gained access to more personal information than just that including SSN's and DL #s if that was available unencrypted.
This is a shitstorm.....
I know they got at least email addresses since I just recently changed mine to a domain I recently registered. They also text messaged the phone number I have listed there. Fortunately I never gave them my SSN or DL#.
This breach of may cause crytsy to incur big fines from the federal government if SSNs have been taken?
Supposedly the service they use to send email and text messages may have been breached...at least that is the latest I have heard...take it with a grain of salt.
