Horus:
AS FAR AS I KNOW. No crime was committed by Paul. Paul is good people, he is working hard.

Let's assume he did not steal the crypto. The fact that he and anyone else at Crapsy did not report a theft of client deposits is, in itself, a crime. It's a federal crime. More than Big Vern will be going to prison over this.

That's what I was Googling for when opting to pen my last post above. I'm sure such is true in Canada as well, eh?

I was testing possibility that hacker did some test withdrawals before main hack of hot and cold wallet. And I found evidences for that.Few hours before hack, hacker tested his possibilities.

10 hours before attack on hot and 17 hours before attack on cold wallet two transactions identically like in main hack occured at the same time 19:58:44 on 28.July.2014 :

https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/8ea29cd8bae4f9ef014b85cba8303872c0edf916ce55982834b5fbeefb1b2b21

sent 2 BTC to 1AcXmrLgZJfWniz4AyrtTsv6KaTSfGvhp6, which remain unspent till now and only tx in that wallet

https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/89ccb44e6ebae0e0e76fdc75eff1b30745251ceafd1f1d2b13c668b867a7c25f

sent 1.549 BTC to 1D8qGtKB7eD7j9ZYhyKiC13xE2v4uHYckr, which also remain unspent till now and only tx in that wallet

I also found string of small unspent transactions to the wallet , which I believe hacker used for making tests over months.

https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/07af4436d470e90f5a91003cf92278e6b90158558394b4c9af7a783514ffcfcd

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/d7ae42681bed0255   - 1NBeewMkKsZ9Uw8KuE1i1hJbMQenfXuEUx

If you look at this wallet you can see string of small unspent transactions from Cryptsy hot wallet over few months from 02.May.2014 till 29.July.2014.Last transaction in this wallet occured just 7 hours before hack 01:41:22, 29.July.2014

After 29.July.2014 ,not at single transaction in or out of this wallet happenned.

That was a hot wallet not a cold wallet where those 2 BTC stemmed from: https://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/8ea29cd8bae4f9ef014b85cba8303872c0edf916ce55982834b5fbeefb1b2b21

Okay, RickStoner (the radio host) says he will be providing a recording, but just in case, I did my best to record the entire thing as well. Towards the end VLC crashed and I missed about 25 seconds, but from what I can tell there wasn't anything interesting in there, just horus and rickstoner looking for questions.

Recording is uploading to Mega now for anyone to download. All rights reserved to RickStoner/DogecoinDarkRadio and Horus, this is strictly for archival purposes. I'll warn you, it's over 2 hours and just about 1.7GB .wav. If anyone has suggestions for streaming it instead i'm open to that. I'll make another post when I have the recording uploaded.

EDIT: exporting in mp3 instead since apparently that's a lot smaller.

OMG, the host was terrible! He did not have an understanding of what "fractional reserve" means and the questions he was asking in that regard were a joke. I'm surprised Horus agreed to be interviewed by this guy and that he continued after some of the questions asked.

I get the impression that Horus is young and generally unexperienced in life. I imagine this situation is teaching him some valuable lessons.

Horus, if you do any further interviews pay attention instead of reading the IRC chat. If you decide to answer a question asked online, verbally restate the question so the listening audience knows what you are answering. Make sure the person interviewing you has the appropriate knowledge to conduct a proper interview.

Crypto After Dark is a reality bitcoin radio show, hosted live by Rick Stoner. This broadcast is now boasting over 100,000 clicks to the radio station, and as many as 70 live listeners at one time. Mixcloud is also the platform where you can find all the old past shows. Listener minutes has crossed 70,000 minutes listened. Rick Stoner, and Crypto After Dark now present you with another season of Crypto interviews and topics that could startle you or inspire you. There has been many new beginnings started as Rick Stoner has always called the old show... 'The Show' and now you will be able to listen to Rick Stoners 'Crypto After Dark'.

You telling me that Rick Stoner wasn't versed to what 'fractional reserve' is given the above?

Here's another untouched on question that needs to be answered

Shouldn't MN shares be continually being paid.... cause you know there is actual mining going on? Those shares are listed on cryptsy but shouldn't the owners still be getting their mining payouts?

has anyone actually traced back to see where the lost funds actually came from? also both btc and ltc wallets have something kinda unique to them...... they tend to serialize addresses even if its in their own way... hint hint! find brothers to those addresses and you found the daddy and mamma also!

and it is very easy to find who owned the father address of the wallet!
yes those addresses have coins on them but where did they actually come from?
block explorers do also ip tracking to show where the wallet was when deposited...

everyone simply taking for granted what is said and done by others never really know until you dig yourselves!

class action yes!!!!
but what about all the international users that are not in the USA?
how would they go about claiming anything in that class action?

Wow! You sure put in a lot of thought for your first post. I took notes on your mommy and daddy wallet addresses just in case there's a pop-quiz tomorrow. I'm goin' start using that newfound knowledge next time I'm investigating transactions. Hey, besides mommy and daddy wallet addresses, are there also children address viz. the money goes elsewheres?

Couple of other thoughts...

Maybe the hackers only took alt coins... dash, doge, ltc etc and Paul himself stashed aside the BTC to keep it with the story that's why it hasn't moved and he's waiting for the blame game to show up nothing..? It explains why the alts were moved, mixed spent whatever but the btc hasn't.

Or

Maybe the hackers intention was to bring cryptsy down with all their bs? If that was the case though and I had done it I would of sent half the bitcoin to a wallet and used half of the amount as a trans fee... wouldn't that be hilarious? People seeing a huge mining fee and cryptsy having to come forward and admit it to try and reclaim that fee?

My guess is with all the shit going down they just didn't care to fix other stuff... makes sense for the other wallets too that were going into maintenance dgb etc.

Then mintsy turned them around and had its way with them.. though I bet cryptsy knew it was risky but they were desperate for any income they could get so invested and declared a partnership.

They just got more fucked over by it. Dishonesty only leads to you hitting rock bottom.. and once that happens there is nowhere else to dig. Can hide in the mud and sling a bit of it around like Horus though.

just simply because you repeat yourself over and over again you have earned hero? well i guess those that lend an ear to it  also deserve it!

Please, enlighten us some more about them IP addresses that the blockchains register. I think you're on to something there. I just checked on one and it showed a dot in the middle of the ocean. I think the transaction stemmed from a person on a cruise. You're a fuckin' genius!

Wait what?! He is ok with Vern covering the theft for year and a half?! Did he really say that? He posted few times in BCT that if he knew something shady was up he would have left... Guess nothing too shady in a small 13000btc cover up.

sure am glad your both the leaders in this crew!
and as it shows im not part of it so  enjoy your won company and keep up the great work of self satisfaction.

You know why you'll never be the leader of anything? Because you've yet to figure out that both accounts are controlled by me, making you that much more having shit for brains.

Now, tell us more about your Newbie status who seemingly knows what the fuck is goin' on sans your fucked up assessments of mommy and daddy wallet addresses being tracked via IP addresses stemmin' from the middle of the Pacific or Atlantic oceans.

yes who will continue to trade with this bastards? and stop begging for your money. it is yours and some big bird thinks he can help himself to it then there is only 1 way to deal with this.
what is your solution? bankruptcy -> 100% loss  Grin (ok, maybe 95%)

You keep saying this like the people making the decision will care about you or this option.

No shit you would rather get back half than zero, for this to be a viable idea you need to give a reason why they guy who stole (or lost) your coins to give you back half instead of giving you back zero.

Why on earth do people think cryptsy will be able to make back any more money to pay you guys? they couldn't do it before admitting that they "lost" your coins, how do you expect them to make back the money now that they are claiming to be too incompetent to actually run an exchange?
