actually there was a 4MB block mined after a very long block interval yesterday. i'm pretty lazy to find a link to the transaction, but jimmy song posted a link to it on twitter. it makes sense that there haven't been many transactions right after the fork, even if people are waiting to move coins. until difficulty continues to adjust down and BCC becomes profitable to mine, there is double spend risk. Would you please explain why there is double spending risk when the difficulty is still high. I heard about that exchanges won't accept the bcc deposit because of that but don't know why there is such a risk. |

BCC has none of those things actually!
BCC has the same blocks as bitcoin (~every 10 minute)
LTC has 1/4 time (~every 2.5 minute)
BCC has huge blocks that if becomes full or spammed will eventually lead to centralization of nodes. and we know the spammers are around us.
LTC has not been spam attacked severely because there was no incentive.
LTC has the SegWit and will soon have lightning network and that would be adding it to a big group of cryptocurrencies with LN an all will be connected and with a lot of benefits.
BCC doesn't have this.
LTC fees are low.
BCC fees have no reason to stay low specially since mining bitcoin is hard and in order for minder to make profit they either have to increase the fees or increase the price and only one of these is possible.

As we know, LTC has some advantages over BTC such as quicker transaction time and less fees. But it seems now the BCC has some of those functions. Does it mean the LTC will no longer as attractive as before and the price will drop? What's your opinion?

The BTC price dropped from 2925 to 2610 right before the bcc was born. So I guess you can think of more like you have 300$ split from your btc. However, the btc price went back up to 2750 or something because people were optimistic about the results.

Currently, the bch, or bcc, or bcash, in most exchanges are priced at around 0.15 bcc/btc. At huobi, it's 0.18. way higher than other ones.

Do you guys notice the price difference and big fluctuation in different exchanges. Especially in huobi, they have at 20% higher price than any other exchanges.

It reminds to me of fultilt poker. It was seized years ago and eventually they paid back. But all of the poker sites got that lucky. absolute poker was seized at the same time but never paid back.

These days ICO projects are too many to count, and there are few good quality projects, I still like POW coins.Because it has a hash to support it.
I especially like the ones with cpu only mining because it gets more decentralized and less waste of energy and more adoption. I think biblepay has a bright future. |
