BTC-e refunds money to the user

Really something that I did not expect, because I think BTC-e is a reputable site and I consider the best. Is it possible they (BTC-e team) will reopen their trading site?

BTC-e refunds money to the user

are you asking or are you telling us?
if it is a statement then give us some links. otherwise last thing we've heard from btc-e was them only giving a promise of either coming back in a couple of weeks or start paying them (refund) in 1 month after it.
and checking the website it is not accessible yet!

How come? They are under investigation and every action now if forbidden. I'm sure they will be forced to give refunds, but who know will be able to do so. This is very bad situation and it might be even worse for all if BTC starts fly suddenly..Think about this for a minute.

I can't find any news about btc-e refunds money to their customers.
What is this? Better to point out a legit source about it.
As btc-e account in this forum already stated that will refund it on September.
f the service is not started before the end of August, Then from September 1 we will start the process of refund.

Will they really pay back the money to the users? I doubt about this. In my opinion, I think this very likely will not happen. The owner of the BTC-e was arrested about a week ago for allegedly being Illegal money laundering. They are being investigated, and if there is real evidence, they will likely face heavy penalties. A few days ago, BTC-e's website was officially closed and domain name confiscated. So far I have yet to see an official statement from the BTC-e that they will return the money to the users.

It reminds to me of fultilt poker. It was seized years ago and eventually they paid back. But all of the poker sites got that lucky. absolute poker was seized at the same time but never paid back.

I'm actually pleasantly surprised by these refunds that eventually take place after a big service falls. Things have come some way since the e-gold class action lawsuit where only a trifling eventually reached users once lawyer fees took their toll.
