141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 18, 2020, 04:19:24 AM
I currently mining or have mined these altcoins, I would to know which coin the board thinks has a ggod chance of higher advancement in the future long or short term. The coin are : Bitbar, digibyte, zero, komodo, zel, vidulum, einsteinium, Lbry credit, bitcoin gold, verge, beenode, ycash, gleec, bitcoin sv, litecoin, zcsh, verus, bitcoinz, zclassic, and safecoin

Of the many coins that are in your portfolio I only see Litecoin (LTC) which has a good future, the rest is not good enough to hold. So I think you better focus on mining litecoin, it's a lot more profitable than mining lots of coins.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Will you Invest in Ethereum ICO if it is just Starting ? on: November 17, 2020, 12:00:00 PM
In my studies, I've come to understand that ICO and IPO are very similar, as they are fundraising strategies for startups.

Here are the areas of differences.

1. ICO are mostly for crypto and Blockchain backed new startups, who need funds to build their businesses, while IPO are for companies that have track performance, that want to raise funds  to scale operations.

2. ICO is like crowd funding, which has less regulation, but IPO are heavily regulated.

Here is what I want us to discuss.

Since ICO investment is very risky as it depends the new startup whitepaper and the token, how did we know Ethereum would become successful through it IPO?

If Ethereum is to start afresh and do an ICO, why will you invest?

IPO has very strict regulations and only companies with good quality can conduct IPO. different when compared to the ICO which even with the project Team anonymously they are still accepted. And what if ethereum starts from scratch and does an ICO, will I invest?

my answer is yes, even if there is currently no official market for ethereum i will still invest. Just by reading their whitepaper, everyone will be interested in what the ethereum team is going to launch. We will go back to the first year that ethereum was released, there is no ICO term, no project created using SmartContrac, no project fraud, crypto exchanges are not like today, crypto has not even been seen as a threat to the financial system. and at that time many people supported the ethereum project, even though they did not know what would happen to the project in the future, or the real use for the ethereum platform, the project might fail during development, but they still supported it. So back to today, we already know the picture that is going to happen given the interest from mainstream companies to blockchain. and it is too difficult to create a private blockchain network. ethereum is like a gold project that I can't afford to miss. And that's the reason I invested if ethereum was just released today and an ICO wasn't there before.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will central banks create their own digital currencies? on: November 16, 2020, 12:38:40 PM
sooner or later it will happen. because the central bank will not stand idly by seeing the current financial system being destabilized. they will definitely make an innovation so that they are not left behind. the current banking system should be integrated with the blockchain. Though in the end it's not a good thing, because I'm sure it will be centered and controlled by them. but at least blockchain is used because the benefits of transparency of this technology are very good in applying in the banking system. otherwise everyone in the future will lose faith in centralized finance and prefer Defi (cryptocurrency).
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: November 16, 2020, 11:47:19 AM
No, Ethereum is only one and no coin will match its success. many projects that have been tried but none have succeeded in competing with ethereum. EOS, Waves, Tron or stellar are among the coins that have tried and failed. ethereum is very superior and difficult for other coins to follow. so there's no other ethereum in the future.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think crypto stand a chance agaisnt the financial system on: November 15, 2020, 10:46:52 AM
from the start crypto was not a threat to centralized finance. it's hard to shake this outdated system. but crypto is arguably an alternative for those who are disappointed with the current financial system. if crypto is used as the main choice there will be no more privileges. there will be no anonymity, no more decentralization, and everything will appear centralized in time.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which ia the best coin for holding 2021? on: November 15, 2020, 07:08:45 AM

147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance? on: November 14, 2020, 08:15:56 AM
The you think defi a a threat to the future of centralized finance? What's your opinion?
no it's not a threat. Defi is an alternative choice for those who do not trust the current financial system. The presence or absence of DEFI will not affect the existence of a centralized financial system. then whether defi is the financial future? I do not think so. because completely trusting the defi is a mistake. Decentralization means that it cannot be controlled and it is very fragile. so the existing masintream financial system will remain in the future. because we can never fully trust Defi.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where are the innovation of 2014 to 2017 in the Bitcoin community? on: November 14, 2020, 05:33:24 AM
there were many ideas that were born that year. but on average it just ended up as a shit project. I just remembered a few things that were pretty good and have survived until recently.

first, DEX
At the moment there are many DEX markets, even if the trading volume is not very high. but this idea has survived and developed until recently. there are many DEX projects already in operation. we also have Uniswap. a fairly high volume DEX market.

second, online payment using Crypto
this second innovation gave birth to a myriad of scam projects. but there are not a few projects that are really serious about developing this innovation. there are several online payment projects already in operation. what I remember is Utrust, although this project is not very developed but their platform is already operational.

Third, blockchain-based social media.
This innovation gave birth to platforms such as Stemmit, Golos, and many more. Stemmit is a popular blockchain-based social media pioneer to date. and I'm sure they will continue to grow in the future.

fourth, gambling
There are currently many gambling platforms operating on crypto. perhaps this is the best innovation and generates a sizeable profit.

fifth, lending platform and now better known as Defi
although initially this innovation gave birth to many scam projects. but as this idea developed, the term DeFi or decentralized finance was born. a completely decentralized banking. there are many successful defi projects at this time and now defi is also a popular concept among new projects.

that's all the innovations that were born from 2014-2017 are quite successful. all of this is based on my observations, so there may be some things that don't match your opinion.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud storage isn't safe place for your wallet keys on: November 12, 2020, 02:35:23 AM
I just find out that some people are storing their private keys and recovery seed in cloud data storages, if you are one of them better go ahead and erase them, cloud storages aren't that secured like they promised, some scammers are breaching them easily and some are using search engines to find private keys data stored on cloud storages, you've been warned.

From the beginning I knew crypto I always kept private keys or wallet backups in the cloud storage. There's no problem with that, there isn't a case where my crypto coin was lost. no cases of hacking. I thought it was safe and I will continue this. the way I save my private key or wallet backup is to use the rar file and give the password. and I also named something unrelated to crypto. this is a pretty powerful trick because hackers will usually skip files like this.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Curio hit 5$ in near future? on: November 11, 2020, 12:33:28 PM
https://curioinvest.com/
Hey friends, i want to talk about a newly project which name is #curio and i have lots of expectations from this project. Though i already gained profit from it. But in my queries mind i want to know all of you that what will be waited in near future for this project? Have any expert who has much knowledge about this project.
Thanks in advance.

From the history of CUR, I see $ 4 has been touched, so I think the dream of $ 5 can happen,
because CUR has very little max supply, only 2 million coins, if CUR can list on a large exchange,
maybe it can return to $ 2 with easy then let's continue the speculation to $ 5.

I think it's difficult, because every coin that has hit the highest price will never come back again. I've seen a lot of coins like this in the past. so the $ 5 CUR price speculation is a time-wasting discussion. because the CUR price will never experience a big increase.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) which has the brighter future? on: November 11, 2020, 06:17:44 AM
Although some time ago many people doubted Ethereum's performance, I personally still believe in this coin. when compared to BCH, ethereum is far superior. ethereum already has real uses and has a solid developer. so we will see various kinds of progress in ethereum in the future. different if with BCH, this coin is only a copy of BTC and there is nothing special apart from that.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: November 11, 2020, 06:06:09 AM
XMR, I always hold this coin. no matter what the price is now. XMR (monero) is the best privacy coin and it performs quite well. although now XMR is not very popular, but I still believe this coin will come back one day.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scam? ICO Scam? IEO Scam and Now DeFi Scam? on: November 10, 2020, 02:49:45 AM
You have to differentiate between FUD and truth. those who have lost to IEOs or ICOs tend to be cautious and whenever a good looking project is launched they always study it and see if it is trustworthy or just a scam project. we should appreciate those who shared their findings about the project so that we would avoid being scammed. after all we can also see what they say is true or just FUD. instead of calling them LOOSER. the more people like this, the more people will be saved from the scam project.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will crypto behave during a Biden presidency? on: November 10, 2020, 01:32:32 AM
I read some articles about Biden, he doesn't seem to like the encryption stuff. and crypto is synonymous with this, so maybe this will be bad because of the Biden sentiment. but this is just my estimate, after all, Biden will be inaugurated next year. so we cannot predict what policy he will make in the future. if he makes policies that are not favorable to crypto holders this could have an impact on the market as a whole. so maybe the early years Biden was inducted into an important time for the future of crypto.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum User Spends $9,500 in Fees Sending Just $120 on: November 09, 2020, 12:40:31 PM
after I read, it's a user error. the miner has no obligation to pay it back. This problem was caused because he entered the amount of gas manually. if he could have been more thorough before making the transaction this might never have happened. Moreover, before the transaction is made, there is always a notification explaining all the details of the transaction starting from the amount to be sent, GAS and GWEI.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 09, 2020, 09:12:23 AM
Tezos is an open source 4th generation decentralized network for assets and applications. It has huge community of Researchers, Developers, Validators and different support groups. It has the largest followers in the crypto space. All of them share the common goal to make it Top 20 crypto currency.

There are rumours in the market that Tezos network will be used for Digital Euro in the years to come. If that happens then its price will sky rocket without any doubt.
Its current price around $2 which is very attractive for investment to yield huge profits in future.

remember it's all just a rumor. after all, although tezos is used by many companies, it has not been able to match ethereum. I am sure that TEZOS will continue to grow, in the future it will probably be the main alternative choice compared to other Ethereum competitors. but he couldn't be like ethereum anyway.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 09, 2020, 02:13:13 AM
when there is good news, or when prices have stopped going down. this is the best time to buy coins. and never buy when the price has gone up high, because it will be very risky if the increase suddenly ends. Don't buy coins if you're in doubt, this will make your patience hard to control. and never follow other people to buy coins, believe in yourself.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano coin price $1 in 2020? on: November 08, 2020, 05:20:59 AM
2020 is just 2 months away, I feel that Cardano will not go to $ 1 this year, seeing that the ADA price is still below $ 0.5,
this is because the number of altcoins in circulation makes the marketcap divided,
unlike in 2017 there were only 7000 altcoins listed on coinmarketcap , and now more than 5000 are listed on CoinMarketCap.

thats right, because $1 is about 10x from now price, but who knows this month or next months,
the price of cardano will flying really high and touch $1
because everything is possible in crypto market man

indeed everything is possible in crypto, but everything must have a reason. and Cardano doesn't have that. look at other coins, I took an example from ethereum. ethereum has increased because ETH2.0 has been released. and other coins are the same. for Cardano, I see no reason for the price increase any time soon. So I think it's a little tough for $1 this year.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Alts Market already bottomed out? on: November 08, 2020, 03:04:01 AM
The sudden jump in BTC price has negatively impacted alts markets but I think LINK , XTZ and go coins have already bottomed out. The traders can book huge profit if they buy them at current price.
lowest price? If you look from the first listing on the market, you will probably think again. I think it's not good to buy altcoins right now, better focus on big coins until this rally is over. bitcoin, ethereum and other large coins are still unstable, and it is particularly prone to buying altcoins when they are not showing signs of stability.
