141  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 💚💚Know the most helpful self volunteer list for this forum 💚💚 on: June 10, 2018, 05:32:21 PM
I might be wrong but isn't everything here on a voluntary basis oO? There are certainly members who go the extra mile but what's the purpose here? It's not as if those members have some kind of "service" that can be used. If (new) members have a question that they'd love to have an answer to, they can ask and if someone is able to help most here certainly will. That's the whole purpose of this forum, to spread knowledge, isn't it?
142  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: a good portfolio tracker ?? on: June 09, 2018, 07:01:17 PM
One of the most annoying things for me is that there are so many different approaches so far but no solution that really works  Undecided
If you try to keep track of your different ICOs it gets really complicated really fast.
143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to run ISO on: June 09, 2018, 04:33:33 PM
Hello dears!
I am going to launch my own ICO and have a very interesting and promising idea for this! But I have been engaged in classical types of business all my life and have no experience in conducting ICO. Tell me, please, where to start. I only have an idea and my White Paper, money to run a marketing company.
What is the first thing to focus attention on, and what are the first steps to do?
How and where is better to find people in the team?
How many people do you need for the team?
where to get advisers, and what should they do?
Do I need to conduct a road show? And in what cities?
Do I need to attract funds to invest in my project?
Whether you need immediately to register the company which will carry out ICO?

I don't want to be rude but if I were you I'd consider just closing this thread (bottom left by the way). It's not only reflecting badly on you in terms of a business perspective but it's also impolite towards the members here. If you you have that many questions and obviously haven't done any research yourself, why should some else do the work for you?
144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it okay to commend an OP? on: June 09, 2018, 04:12:14 PM
I don't have anything to add to the topic, but I found it very helpful.

That's what the merit system is for. You need to get merit first though in order to spend some on really good posts that you liked.
Have a look here for a short overview: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0

Just imagine if everybody would post just to commend OP, hell it would be terrible even if it weren't everybody on the forum or topic but every 10th who read a thread. There is a good reason why posts like "great" or "good" are considered spam.

146  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Looking for bounty translators to German (ONLY native speakers!) on: June 09, 2018, 01:22:13 AM
I speak English on C2 and am a native German speaker and as a freelancer I do translation work sometimes. But what do you mean about becoming a customer? I expect to be paid not buy from you.

I am not a seller. I am looking for a responsible Team, consisting of NATIVE SPEAKERS, who translate to their native languages. At the beginning, you must be ready to work under bounty conditions (i.e. for tokens of the project after the completion of ICO, for a fixed price or for percentage from the raised funds).

It's definitely easier to find customers when you're backed by a team. But what do you exactly mean be "you must be ready to work under bounty conditions"? Under as in "below" bounty conditions or "for" bounty conditions? It sounds like at the beginning we need to work for less than we'd get in a regular bounty. How will these terms change?

Also, have a look at some tutorials, member roslinpl made a very good thread in order to teach the tricks and quirks of creating a good signature for the forum. It's very detailed and you'll get the nessesary basics.

148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: our project has no use of crypto currency. can I do ico? on: June 07, 2018, 11:30:54 PM
No This forum is dedicated to bitcoin and crypto currency.

I understand it is a forum for crypto currency.

In ethereum, there is something called smart contract and crowdsale.
https://www.ethereum.org/
Kickstart a project with a trustless crowdsale

where is the place I should go to do some crowdsale?

george wu

I'd suggest that you make yourself familiar with the crypto space and how an ICO usually is done resp. the different approaches. Better even get someone who knows the space, otherwise, this idea of yours may go seriously wrong. At least you lose a lot of time, trust any maybe money.
149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MyEtherWallet phishing attack on: June 07, 2018, 11:10:12 PM
I strongly advise using Cryptonite by MetaCert and bookmarks!
MetaCert is a Chrome plugin that warns you if you get redirected to a phishing site. In addition MetaMask, a hardware wallet and/or an offline version of MyEtherWallet.

There is also a Telegram group: https://t.me/metacert

NEVER ever use only the private key/json file. This will get you most likely scammed/phished and remember: once an address is compromised, you'll never be able to use it again without risking all your assets!

Kurzes Update

Why most of the peoples in bitcoin talk have fake user names?

Even if people would want to give their real names, they couldn't. Upon registration, you can give your name. But have you ever thought about the fact that there are people with the same name all over the world? Just google your name and you might be surprised. So why bother in the first place...

[...] But it would be really nice if STeX team could send important informations in a newsletter to all supporters. Mail updates are the most convenient way to keep community updated IMO.

Was there even a point in time when investors/participants could register their mail somewhere? I can't remember. But that certainly would be a good thing. Updates once every week or even every month (if they don't have the manpower) would be good as people tend to forget or overlook threads and telegram groups. This really should be a thing. Please consider that @STex team

Thanks a lot for the reply!
Huh, seems i have the correct one then...they distributed the new token automatically to my MEW wallet, where i held the old token...

Yes, the STeX team made sure that most processes are automated and that - even if something like a swap needs to happen - everything is done properly. The automation was implemented early on in the project.

What are the advantages of STeX? How is the right way to develop the STeX? Is everything made by STeX acceptable to the public (users)?

Read OP in order to get an overview of the project. The most important feature of the exchange would the potential of the number of trading pairs and the option to cross trade all tokens/coins with one another.

Oh great, this provides a lot trust to the investors....*sarcasm*

Can someone tell me, what the current STE token ID contract is?

So i know if i have trash or still real tokens?

Sure, the the final STE smart contract would be: 0xffe04344f48e7ca2ee5e25bf557ac88b1b769cb3

So STE tokens was reissued again? I haven't seen any annoucement about this. Do you have more info why did the team made another contract for this token? I mean if they did it it was probably necessary, but still it can be confusing.

Yeah, the token was again re-issued (link to news)

According to the team it was mainly done to increase the security for the long-term token holders and also for an easier accounting of the original ICO and bounty tokens.
Additionally, to deal with the hacked wallets and funds sent from other exchanges' accounts, they felt that they needed a  more flexible vesting system, which was implemented in the final new STE smart contract 0xffe04344f48e7ca2ee5e25bf557ac88b1b769cb3
The main improvement will be a safeLock function allowing token holders to protect their tokens by hard-locking them on the smart contract for any period from 1 day and up to 2 years.

I would've also preferred that the team had used all their social media outlets and not just one channel with 1 big news. Maybe a medium/steemit report and several messages on twitter/facebook/telegram referring to it, each message with a different feature/reasoning.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ✅[ANN][ICO A2A tokens]✅STeX Exchange - ALL Coins, ONE PLATFORM: 10,000+ Crosses! on: June 02, 2018, 01:22:23 PM
so the A2A ICO ends in 1 month ??
I think we won't get much more, most of investors come in early in ICO
3.3k ETH is nice for a secondary token like this

Unfortunately, there is also still a lot of confusion, since people don't read and the marketing is basically non-existent and only people who follow the project understand what happened. Even some of them are still confused with basically 4 tokens related to the project.

There are 3 versions of the STE token and one of the A2A token. STE is a dividend token, A2A a utility token.
The 3 versions of the STE token are:
  • STeX.Exchange
  • STeX Exchange ICO
  • STeX Exchange Token

Only the last one is important since the token got re-issued 2 times.

This makes it confusing and I think the team could focus a bit more on reassuring and explaining people what happened, why it happened and what's to come- what they can expect. Sometimes people need to hear something again and again. Repetition is one of the easiest yet most important concepts of marketing.

Hi, might I suggest you read the following thread "✅STeX Exchange - ALL Coins, ONE PLATFORM: 10,000+ Crosses!"
There you'll find the most important info about SteX.

To answer your question and maybe help with your confusion. There are 3 versions of the STE token and one of the A2A token. STE is a dividend token, A2A a utility token.
The 3 versions of the STE token are:
  • STeX.Exchange

160  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much does an Airdrop cost? on: June 02, 2018, 01:28:13 AM
To receive this, we have to be a member of the site and send 0.0028 eth. and finally I have to go to KYC. I am surprised know what I am.

If an Airdrop requires you to send them money and your personal data, avoid it by all means. Seriously. I don't get why people are that careless with their data.
