141  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2016, 06:12:44 PM
It's all about having interest. You could give them some bitcoin to try out.
Show them how it works and how to purchase something online.

Yeah that is the right thing to do, making them purchase something online would definitely attract them towards using bitcoins and once they are about the features of bitcoins then they would surely start knowing more and more about bitcoins and online purchases are an added advantage to motivate women for using bitcoins.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2016, 06:08:48 PM
right now im just doing signature campaign and join ponzi  Undecided Undecided
careful, better not to join the ponzi, or you will regret after you lose a lot of your money Smiley.

Yeah many of us have invested in ponzi schemes and have been cheated it is better to stay away from ponzi schemes as we are gonna loose all our hard earned coins, its better to play safe and grow your bitcoins in the safest  way possible, its better to join signature campaign and start earning bitcoins.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 20, 2016, 06:01:44 PM
Who said that, will eat their words soon. Cheesy

BTC hit the $410 price!..

BTC won't die in a couple of years. In your face Mike Hearn!.. Now shut the f**k up!..

Yeah, bitcoin is neither dead nor it will be dead in the coming years, bitcoin is rising and it will keep on rising small fluctuation cannot decide the future of bitcoin and it would definitely cross $500 mark in few months and that  is the reason we are holding our bitcoins, and it is only dead for the people who don't have faith in bitcoins.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: January 20, 2016, 05:57:01 PM
Yes some of my girls friends in facebook use bitcoin, they just play fiat trading.
you have a great boyfriend comrades. My girlfriend did not know anything about bitcoin, but I've taught her, but she was confused, but my female cousin immediately understand about bitcoin when I explain it, perhaps because he had experienced about online business
yes usually they are already familiar with the online business will be easier to learn bitcoin.

Yeah nowdays girls are very much tech savvy and they keep on learning and trying new technology and I am sure that girls must be using bitcoins and also earning by various means and there must be many girls on this forum who must be participating in discussions and that is the good sign for the bitcoin community.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: January 20, 2016, 05:52:01 PM
Bitcoin can make new banks stronger. If a bank integrates bitcoin in its payment system and provides bitcoin related service, this bank will be very popular.

Not now, not yet. An average person won't need or want to use bitcoin. They will see the volatility of the price and that not many services use bitcoin and they will think, hmm why would I use bitcoins? And they are right, there is not much benefit in using bitcoins right now unless you are trading or believe in satoshi nakamoto.

Yeah that's correct people will always have more faith in the banking system rather then investing into bitcoins, as for average person bitcoin is totally a new technology and he would rather invest his money into banks as he is earning fixed returns in the form of interest, and he will have fear to loose his money by investing into bitcoins.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 20, 2016, 05:44:49 PM
I usually buy at low and sell at high. My guess initially went wrong. I suffered some loss. I traded with less amount of coins. My loss is minimal. I learned it slowly and now I'm doing very lazy trades for minimal profit. Trading goes profitable for me now. I don't put much risk with money.

people always talk negatively and you make you decision wrong because of that , few days ago when BTC price drops everyone start saying that Bitcoin is crashed and its failed etc which mean it will fall more but bitcoin is almost back where is was before only 40$ difference is remain

Yeah and price flucuation is a part of bitcoin process, it is not new for the users of bitcoins we are used to it, but there are few people who are involved in spreading the negative publicity of bitcoins and that is the reason     people don't trust bitcoins but the people who are using bitcoins since long time are definitely holding their bitcoins for price increase.
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: January 20, 2016, 05:37:59 PM
bitcoin have a quick transaction with a fee that is a little bit, and I think the customer prefers it all, because all the customer preferences are in excess of the current bitcoin

Yeah and bitcoin is offering us variety of feature which no other currency can offer, if bitcoin is promoted and introduced to people in positive way then there would surely increase in  the customer base of bitcoins, as bitcoin can be used for online purchases and also for online transfers which is very cheap and instant.
148  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 20, 2016, 05:34:12 PM
Worst Mistake: Investing in ponzi's to think I could make a quick buck.. Yet i still somehow never learn..  Undecided

That sucks man. I would've thought that people would never make that same mistake twice.
Earning a quick buck seems too good to be true for me.
I would rather just earn a fair amount of bitcoins and sit on them.

Yeah repeating the same mistake twice doesn't sounds good, we all commit mistakes but we make sure that we don't repeat the same mistake, its better to loose in gambling rather then loosing in ponzi schemes as in gambling there are chances that you might even win sometimes and make a quick money. Though I lost in gambling and that was the worst mistake made by me.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think might be holding back Bitcoin's success? on: January 20, 2016, 05:26:21 PM
Holding back Bitcoin's success i think it is the block size which is small right now, confirmation time, and being not allowed in some countries to be used bitcoin.

That's true, and I think that lack of knowledge is also playing an important part in lacking the success of bitcoins as people are not aware about the bitcoins and hesitate in trying something new and yes the people who are already into bitcoins are worried about the delay in confirmation time.

151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: January 14, 2016, 11:40:37 PM
Paypal... for now I guess..
Unless bitcoin is getting more and more common.. if not I believe there are still many online or big stores don't accept them...

Bitcoin is not know to most people in the world. When most of us know it, it will be used widely as it is superior to conventional fiat.

It would be superior to fiat and even to WU and paypal as bitcoin is the best way to trasfer money online and I don't think that there is any best possible option available at a moment so I would definitely go with bitcoins if I had to choose between paypal and bitcoins.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 14, 2016, 11:30:12 PM
It is real to me.
It was a little more fun once my mining gear was paid for to buy stuff with it (fluffy Overstock down comforter :-).
Now I buy and spend and save

Yes, it is indeed so. Bitcoin have function which like real money. We can buy something with that. So proper if bitcoin called real money.

If you can buy anything using bitcoins or if you can convert it to your fiat currency then it becomes a real money to you, and same is the case with me as I can shop online, I can remit money to my bank account and even I can gamble with it so it has become a real money to me and I don't need any other currency to take care of my expenses so for me bitcoin is a real money.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 14, 2016, 11:25:57 PM
yes im still holding my btc   because i believe that  the price will grow up than last year Smiley

Exactly and that is the right thing to do, as we all are very much aware that the price of bitcoin would reach to a new level in the coming months and  we want that it should reach to a moon, its not possible but atleast if we are able to earn some  profits out of it then there is no major concern.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: January 13, 2016, 10:24:32 AM
I think so in the future if it is more than 100 years I think. Some day everything well end also bitcoin.
So yeah we will see fiat money disappear at the end, but I think we are all dead in that time.

For now not going to happen fiat dollar money will be always be there a lot of people is using it.

Yeah it is difficult to replace dollar by any other currency as dollar is widely used and widely accepted across the globe, and dollar getting replaced by any digital currency??? Simply impossible, as people have more faith in dollar and there are many countries who are not aware about bitcoins and bitcoin is not widely used or accepted as a mode of payment, but dollar is used and accepted everywhere.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: January 12, 2016, 06:39:58 PM
Don't worry mate, they just ignore what bitcoin's means nowadays , so they laugh as they are ignorants. Time will teach them and they will know the value of this crypto currency

Exactly, they are laughing right now let them laugh as they are not aware what bitcoin is all about, and at the time or retirement, you would be getting retired very early and they would be still working and at that time you will be laughing at them, So if they are not tech friendly then we can't help and if they don't believe in innovative things and don't want to learn anything new we can't help them.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [poll] What do you currently use Bitcoin for? on: January 12, 2016, 06:36:32 PM
For now I'm using bitcoin to hold with whatever I earn.
So I guess you could also say storage of wealth.

That is the right thing to do, I generally use it for wealth storage, whatever I earn I keep a part of it as a saving and rest I use it for remmitances for my family and other which I feel that I can spend I spend it on gambling I am not sure whether I will win or not but I do spend a part of it on gambling as bitcoin allows me to gamble even with a small amount.
157  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2016, 06:31:36 PM
2 years back, I bought btc @ $80 per coin. And sold at $225 per coin. Once I sold, It went up to $900+ with no stops. Missed to seal the huge profits.

Yeah that sounds really bad. I think you should talk with someone.
These things don't go away easily.
Professional help is the solution for you my friend.

Don't think negative, atleast he have earned a good profit and that is the best thing, no need of crying and there are many people around here who are still suffering from losses, and the worst mistake I did was that I sent my first btc transfer to a wrong address as I was newbie and I was not totally aware about it so that was the mistake I still regret.
158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: January 12, 2016, 06:26:46 PM
it made me think of telling my girlfriend about what is bitcoin , i will tell you after what was he reaction :p

It is either she will accept bitcoin or will be very difficult for her to understand it, But it is good if she take it more seriously because a good relation needs understanding and no secrets involve.

And it totally depends on us that how we introduce them to bitcoins as mouth publicity is the biggest publicity, if you introduce them positively they would surely be get attracted to know more about bitcoins, the technical things and where it is generally used for, and once they are aware that they can use bitcoins for shopping, they would be surely get motivated to use bitcoins.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to present BTC to Newbies ? on: January 12, 2016, 06:23:13 PM
I would let them google Bitcoin and let them learn that way, it's the easiest approach.  Grin

Nah, i think it's the worst way to introduce bitcoin to newbies. google will take a bit time to understand what is bitcoin and etc. i think the best way is just talk head to head about bitcoin.
Yes you are right information in google is not 100% accurate because not all the information on Google considers that bitcoin is good. Better straight talk face to face because in addition to easy also beginners can directly ask him what he does not understand bitcoin

Yeah when it comes to bitcoins it is very technical and google cannot take care of it for sure, we need to explain them practically then only they would understand the concept of bitcoins and that is the only right thing to do with the newbies or else they won't entertain bitcoins, as they would find it really difficult at the initial stage, so its better we teach them step by step.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get into Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2016, 06:20:18 PM
yeah a freind of mine intreduced me to bitcoin in the summer through faucets claiming now i know more about bitcoin then him also i intreduced him to Bitcointalk
Yes just like I used to because I know bitcoin also introduced by my friend.
I think probably everyone knows bitcoin from their respective friends

Exactly, same here even my friend introduced me to bitcoins as he said me that you can earn money while posting, firstly I didn't believe in him but after knowing the fact and going through the forums I actually came to know yes this is the genuine way to earn money and that can be helpful for me to take care of my basic expenses and can prove to be an good passive income.
