Hi everyone!
I'm Collin, Radium's new Project Manager. The devs have asked me to join the Radium team to help with PR, organization, and really anything of that sort that needs doing. My background is in operations management, marketing, and PR, and I've worked for a number of years with a Fortune 200 company in those capacities. I've spent the last week familiarizing with the project, and I'm really excited about what's going on! Happy to be here working with a great team!

Hey man, I've been trying to develop a common understanding between you and I by being friendly in my last few responses to some of your posts (to which I unfortunately received no response). As I said, I'm happy your still around and appreciate your criticism. I am happy for you to PM me (Please condense it all down to just one PM if possible) with any concerns you might have, and I will try to respond to them to the best of my ability (even though I am an unpaid member of this community). I would however like to kindly ask you to refrain from personal badgering and unnecessarily negative comments (criticism is welcome, I'm sure, but the way you convey it sometimes makes it seem personal/offensive). Now its worth 100s.
I want buy coin which rice now another stupid coin when I must waiting years to rice I am to old to wait which each coin few years. I waiting with other promising coins "few years" and almost all dead after this "few years" !
So I dont need another coin "after few years". I bought on Hype New York conference. I dont care about Dev go to on holidays with his family but why without any post after conference ? He piss on us.

I understand your frustration but please bear in mind it was your trading decision. There is also the point to be made that buying something at around +400% in the last few weeks is an extremely stupid trade. |

The data is from DigiBot (DigiByte telegram chat bot) which in turn takes it from poloniex and shows the sum of the last 200 trades at any particular moment through the /tradehist command. |

What are the general impressions after the FinDEVr NY 2016 DGB devs? Was it useful or was it not so cool? Any new contacts ?

I think you have to be part of the secret circle to find out anything now you have to be invited on to the digibyte telegraph channel were all the left-handed hand shakes happen...its a bit like the Masons only cheaper  The inncer circle with 230 members? Yeah right.... Everybody can join! http://www.telegram.digistats.info If you think that making things more "private" or "exclusive" is the way to take something mainstream, you're simply mistaken. Things like telegram and slack are made for working groups focused on specific, real time projects. Bulletin boards, on the other hand, were designed for reaching the widest audience possible enabling universal readership without creating limitations and barriers like sign-ups and registrations. So, if you want to shoot yourself in the foot, by all means, ignore the power of bulletin boards and crawl back into your hole. That having been said, it should also be said that the main bulletin board goal for mass adoption is worthy and valued information . . . so if the only thing you've got are frivolous and infantile comments, you're doing the right thing by keeping them in private messaging format (BTW, that's how telegram describes itself . . .). To an extent I think you are right HR. BCT is probably the best tool within crypto to disseminate information on a large scale and I absolutely advocate keeping the conversation here flowing. My recent absence is due to IRL stuff and nothing to do with the telegram chat group. Having said that I think the telegarm chat group also has its advantages such as instant communication as well as advanced functionality using DigiBot which me and Dennahz have developed specifically for this purpose (i.e. to be used by the DigiByte community, its called DigiBot after all). Your going to have to elaborate a little more on this matter. Have you checked the obvious things; are you on version 4.0.3 of the wallet? Have you tried a reindex/rescan? |

A friend have actually a really strange problem with his desktop DGB wallet : he's limited by a max amount of DGB to sent. Moreover, his fees are huge compared of mine.
Eg : Yesterday, I have transfered 336 000 DGB for a total fees of 42 DGB. My friend need to pay 96 DGB for a transfer of 38 000 DGB only. Have I missed something? Is there a rule that increase the fees to be paid the more you make transaction? This doesn't sound logic at all, and I've never read anything related to this.
We are both on the 4.0.3 wallet, 64 bits... on Windows.
You can set in your wallet! Maybe you changed it or he changed something!?Note that getting a transaction relayed across the network does NOT guarantee that the transaction will be accepted by a miner; by default, miners fill their blocks with 50 kilobytes of high-priority transactions, and then with 700 kilobytes of the highest-fee-per-kilobyte transactions. The minimum relay/mining fee-per-kilobyte may be changed with the minrelaytxfee option. Note that previous releases incorrectly used the mintxfee setting to determine which low-priority transactions should be considered for inclusion in blocks. The wallet code still uses a default fee for low-priority transactions of 0.1mBTC per kilobyte. During periods of heavy transaction volume, even this fee may not be enough to get transactions confirmed quickly; the mintxfee option may be used to override the default. Thank you for all the replies guys. He's a miner and I already told him to decrease the withdraw request from his pool. I'm discussing with him in order to see if something is wrong with his wallet. I have well red everything that concerns fees... but what about this limitation of a max amount of DGB to send? By decreasing the amount of request related to his adress, do you think this will increase the maximum amount of DGB per transfer? Yup it sure will, it will basically reduce the size of the transaction allowing it to be included in a block. |

This is completely normal, the fees are a function of the amount of inputs or the "dust" that your transaction requires. Is your friend a miner because this usually causes this (unless you mine using a pool which pays out less frequently). |
