141  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: April 09, 2018, 02:34:05 PM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?
Yes, I am planning to buy bitcoin for my future, for my children so that it will not be hard for them to get money in case something will happen. They said bitcoin will not be survive in the near future but I believe in bitcoin. I know that btc will last long. So if I have enough money to invest then I will immediately invest my money here and wait.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: April 09, 2018, 01:58:51 PM
I don't see how bitcoin is helping people in Africa getting food or avoiding wars.

Yes, it true but I think it will only be possible in some countries. Bitcoin can end world of poverty, not totally end but lessen or reduce poor people. Bitcoin helps many people in their financial since you can earn in bitcoin with or without investing a cash, all you need to do is to join is certain campaigns. And also, it is big help for the poor people because bitcoin is tax free, no money involved in joining here.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: selling bitcoin is a stupid decision ? on: April 09, 2018, 01:22:19 PM
This drop is temporary, even though it lasts several  months.

Many experts predict the price to go at 50-100k in the 2020.
These are times to buy, not to sell.

If the price drops now it is a blessing, i would take advantage of it by buying and waiting for the Big Rise 😎
Selling bitcoin is not a stupid decision if there has a acceptable reason of course. Yes, drops is temporary and it will go back to its high value you just need to wait. And if btc user decides to sell his bitcoin not because the value drops but because he really needs it, then that is a good decision. He sacrifice a possible amount to get what he need now. That will be only stupid if they just sell it without reason.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: April 09, 2018, 12:34:07 AM
Does Bitcoin Need The Social Media's Help To Promote Itself?

Well, Bitcoin needs all the help that we can get. With its current situation, Bitcoin Foundation is just thinking out of the box to help Bitcoin recover and might even succeed.

With the help of Social Media, bitcoin can attract new and young users. Learn about bitcoin and eventually adopt it.

Maybe this is the first step of mass adoption.

What do you think?
Yes, bitcoin still needs promotion and advertisement. Maybe bitcoin is popular to the most of country but it must better if all people around the world knows bitcoin. And that will be possible if it is promoted through social media most especially in facebook since we fb have lots of users aroubd the world.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: April 08, 2018, 11:48:35 AM
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?
It depends on your status. If you need money then you can get it and spend in necessary things. If you don't, then it is an opportunity for you to invest in bitcoin. Thay .03 btc or $500 will become $600 and up which is good for you and as well as in your future. Be wise in managing your btc.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why aren't there more women in Bitcoin? on: April 03, 2018, 04:29:22 PM
Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why?

Source: https://news.bitcoin.com/why-arent-there-more-women-in-bitcoin/?utm_source=Why
According to some research I've read, most of men are engage to technology than women. The percentage of men are must higher than women because women are more in business and men are unto devices. And aside from it, women want to get their income though their efforts andworking hard so instead of being here in btc they rather to apply and apply for some job.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: April 03, 2018, 03:28:26 PM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.
Yes, everything needs rules and regulation mosy t especially this bitcoin since there are lots of users and incoming users of btc today. Rules and regulations serves as our guideline in this crypto world. Without this maybe it will not last for years. And also, rules and regulation dor the security of the users, investors and others.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: April 03, 2018, 03:07:52 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

In saving for a long time, you have lots of benefits that you may possibly get. First is, you can have a larger earnings. The long you hold the higher chance of having large value of bitcoin. You just choose whether the value is enough for you or you are wanting for more. Another, it is good for future expenses or future needs. It can bring large profit for you and for your family.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: April 03, 2018, 01:40:10 AM
I think there are different kinds of smarts, and ultimately it comes down to your goals. Someone who is a mathematical genius may not be 'smart' with their money, and could end up broke.
Yes, it depends on what they want to achieve. If they really want to achieve their goal, both characteristics of being smart and strategic will be merge. Of course you are dedicated to reach your dreams.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: April 02, 2018, 06:17:48 PM
well kids like to play, so something that can bring together bitcoin and gaming

like puzzle that when solved reveal a private key for example

it is important that kids start to learn early some basic economy, at least something about income and expenditure

i heard about a new law for some countries that will make it possible(to teach them basic economy) in schools

Yeah, they like to play but they don't like puzzles.
For me, teaching kids about business or asset is difficult especially on teaching them about cryptocurrency on bitcoin to be exact. It is really hard to understand because there are so many things that you need to know how to earn but if you want to share the feautures of it I think it will not be really hard as that.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: April 02, 2018, 01:16:28 PM
Hello there one year ago i bought 3 bitcoins but lost them all in gambling... :'(nd now seeing the bitcoin price makes me cryy...
I have 1500USD right now...i am thinking to buy the bitcoin now whatever i can get with them

Should i buy now or not as bitcoin is reached its all time high and in to the moon...please advice me
No! You are just on time. Btc value may be low at this time but it is the right time to buy bitcoin at a low price. Of course once you buy btc, I am obligating you to hold it and wait for the right time to sell. You can also save it for you future, for your kids and of course for you whenever you need something to buy. Just think wisely.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Can Not Believe Bitcoin on: April 02, 2018, 12:09:05 PM
Hello Everyone.
Recently my friends Asked me. Now I can investment with bitcoin. I said my friends. Of course you can invest bitcoin without tension.
but my friends can not believe bitcoin.my friends tell me bitcoin price always dumping. It's will be got this scam. Cry
I got this boring felling with my friends opinion. Because I always believe them bitcoin about.
Bitcoin is the real king crypto currency world. Bitcoin will be never scam. It's not possible.  Embarrassed
Well, I personally experience that. I think you and somenof us made a wrong action. Do not let your words be exaggerated in saying the benefits and the beauty of bitcoin. Be simple yet encouraging. And aside from it, people can't believe in bitcoin may be because of some past experience they've encounter. They might scam and others. And some people thinks so negatively in terms of online business.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Planning to sell all my btc as its too low now :( on: April 01, 2018, 02:43:09 PM
Hi guys me want suggestions

me planning to sell all my btc and wana buy etherium  ETH as btc is down 6.23 % in 24 hr and eth is down 10.68 % so me thinking best time to buy eth as it will grow

what says guys ?
I think you don't need to sell btc because as what we observe from the past btc and ETC is almost the same. Remember the time that btc falls down? The etc value also goes down. So for me, the best thing to do to avoid such loss, you have to wait and hold your btc. You need much time but it will be worth it.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like bitcoin, what's your reason? on: March 04, 2018, 03:18:06 AM
Do you like bitcoin, what's your reason?
It changes my life, it is storage of wealth and also an another key to have have a secure/settle future. Changes life because before I am just nobody who do not have any plans for my future but now i can't count how many plans I do have for this bitcoin. Storage of wealtg since it can be hold.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: March 04, 2018, 12:57:04 AM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.
If the government knows about this bitcoin possibly that they will accept it in their country and legalized. Of course there has a tax involved and lessen to the money we might earn.
156  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: March 03, 2018, 04:56:15 PM
Theoretically I pay taxes because government can offer to me some services (like health, law enforcement ecc.). But, with the economic crisis, we pay taxes to pay state debts  Roll Eyes
Paying your taxes is considered a civic duty, although it is also a requirement of the law. If you do not pay your taxes, the government agency that oversees taxes the Internal Revenue Service  will require you to pay your taxes or else face penalties, such as fines or going to jail. Aside from it, netizen will get the benefits from those taxes such as roads, houses and and others.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin? on: March 03, 2018, 03:15:15 PM
With the price starting to creep up again do you think it's a good time to start selling some of my investments or do you think it's worth holding on for a while longer?

We all know how temperamental the market can be but do you think this is just a short term spike?
Holding and selling is both good but in different situation. Holding is good in saving the future expenses since it has a possibility to double its value. Selling is good if you are urgently need money so you don't have a choice but to sell it. But for me, I would chose both because you cannot determine what will happen.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant on: March 03, 2018, 06:56:01 AM
It depends on utility and functionality in the long run. Currently, ethereum is used as a contact enforcing tool which makes it good for escrow, betting and fund raising. Bitcoin Cash is fast and cheap, useful for currency and transaction purposes. Bitcoin is used as speculation and as a pairing to convert fiat to crypto and alts. However, Bitcoin cash is gaining momentum and merchant adoption, hence there is a very very high possibility it will be a new pairing standard to replace Bitcoin for fiat entry into crypto and alt. So it's will be interesting to see what holds for both coins in 2018.
I think in my own opinion. It will still be dominant than any other cryptocurrency because as we all can see, the price of bitcoin is really high than any other crypto and also the volume is higher than any other crypto. Yes, the price of bitcoin dumped but then I believe that it will fall into slowest price because it is normal. Bitcoin is volatile.
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: February 24, 2018, 03:11:18 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

There are several difference between bitcoin and real money. One of this is that bitcoin can be hold and save for a long time then you can gain profit while in real money is constant, it is stable if you have 100k then it is 100k also. In bitcoin if you hold 100k it may increase twice or even thrice. Aside from it, real money can spend easily while bitcoin is not.
160  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: February 23, 2018, 05:05:40 PM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?
I think the reason why there are some billionaires got their position now is because of bitcoin. Those billionaires are the first batcher in bitcoin which they really started from the start and now they gained a lot. And aside from it, billionaires also invest in btc to multiply their money and they think btc is the good investment regarding that.
