141  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 12:40:39 PM
Looking at it critically, crypto prices will still drop for a while before moving towards the upside though I'm not very sure it'll reach that 5000 dollar mark it'll definitely get  very close. I'm waiting for more bad news so I can buy more.

Sounds like the typical HODL strategy:

First you buy the dip at 12.000.
Price increases to 14.000 and you do not sell because you HODL

Now the price dips to 10.000 - you buy the dip some more.
Price increases to 12.000, and you do not sell because you HODL

The the price dips to 8.000 - you buy the dip some more
Price increases to 10.000, and you do not sell because you HODL

Now we are at 6.000 and you want to buy the dip some more.

Everyone who HODLs and only "buy the dip" is losing more and more everytime they follow that strategy.

This is somewhat true but whose who are buying for long term are not at all at a loss. Everyone knows that bitcoin is the future and this year bitcoin will easily reach 25000$. Some are hoping for 50,000$ also. So the point is nomatter in which range you buy (5000 - 12000 $), just keep on holding till the year end.

Just as everyone knew Myspace was the future, and with hundreds of millions of users could never be in decline again?

142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Peaks are lower, dips are deeper. The facts. on: April 01, 2018, 12:38:07 PM

Peak - 16 Dec: 20.000$

Dip - 30 Dec: 12.600$

Peak - 6 Jan: 17.100$

Dip - 5 Feb: 6.900$

Peak - 4 Mar: 11.500$

Dip - start April, we are at 6.700$ and still declining.....

HODL together with "buy the dip"  is the worst strategy - guaranteed to destroy you money.

If you feel lucky, try buying the dip and make absolutely sure you sell at the peak - but then you might as well also be playing at the casino.....
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment strategy on: April 01, 2018, 12:27:35 PM
Hey, guys. Today I thought about what would happen if I cease to diversify their risks, sell all altcoins. Leaving all in bitcoins and wait until the rest of my Deposit will not grow.

Will I be able to earn more money for 2018 with this strategy? Huh

I already did so in the summer of 2017, leaving 60% of my Deposit in ETH for six months and did not regret it. I advise you to think about this strategy. Thank you all for your answers.

buying altcoins and bitcoin is NOT "diversification". Any competent investor will know that diversification is buying very different asset types - and ALL coins belong to the same asset class, crypto.

Anyone believing they are diversifying their risk by buying different coins are deluding themselves.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy a can of Coca-Cola for 500$ - it's cheap on: April 01, 2018, 12:24:40 PM
This is how many Bitcoin people in here are arguing:

I saw some people buy a can of Coca Cola for 2000$ just a month a ago.

Now I can buy a can of Coca-Cola for only 500$, it is cheap!!

Bitcoin is not cheap at 6000$. It is make-believe toy money with no real value apart from some novelty value for people who like to have cryptos for fun.

Funny how we see the same thing at every dip in the market - now we are here again, and the "dip" simply becomes deeper every time....
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin prices will continue to drop next week? on: April 01, 2018, 12:22:00 PM
BTC Overall, market sentiment was slightly down. Bitcoins prices continue to drop and there will be further increase in bearish pressure on BTC and altcoins.
I waited for the BTC price to drop that it had, Would that I was able to put some money into it now? I would like to have some comments here please.

Do not believe "buy the dip". Bitcoin is on a long-term decline. Yes it then goes up and down a bit, but every dip is lower. And the top becomes smaller and smaller every time.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Be careful of stupid investors on: April 01, 2018, 12:04:44 PM
The full article is linked to below, an excellent read if you have the time.

The short concluding parts:

Following the “herd,” has always ended badly for investors. In every full-market cycle, there is an inevitable belief “this time is different” for one reason or another.
It isn’t. It has never been. And this time will not be different either.

However, what has always separated out the great investors from everyone else, is they have acted independently of the “herd.” They have a discipline, a strategy and a driving will to succeed.

They don’t “buy and hold.” They buy cheap and sell expensive. They avoid losses at all costs and they deeply understand the relationship of risk to reward.

They are the “non-stupid.”

These are the ones you want to follow.

Not the ones screaming at you on bitcointalk telling you to “buy, buy, buy.”

147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a tax on: April 01, 2018, 11:47:41 AM
"Bitcoin is a tax on stupidity", the fact that even wrote such a ridiculous sentence clearly demonstrates that you are the stupid one.

Bitcoin isn't a tax at all, it isn't collected by the government to pay for public services, it isn't forcibly charged to country residents. Bitcoin includes a mining fee yes, but that is a fee rather than a tax, and it is optional technically, but due to supply and demand, you better pay that fee if you want your transaction confirmed quickly.

Thank you for proving my point
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a tax on: April 01, 2018, 11:42:40 AM
If in a country imposes a tax on bitcoin then those users must submit their identity to the government to know how much taxes they have to pay for each transaction. This is in contrast to a decentralized system that is applied bitcoin with blockchain technology where no one party can control and control bitcoin. Bitcoin users, in essence, they join bitcoin because they are already saturated with some unreasonable payments from conventional transaction systems.

And also thank you to you for proving my point
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a tax on: April 01, 2018, 11:42:03 AM
Bitcoin is not a currency issued by any country. So, why tax will come? It is entirely outside the control of the government.

Thank you for proving my point
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a tax on: April 01, 2018, 11:23:43 AM
Bitcoin is just like any casino or lottery - it is a tax on stupid people who fundamentally do not understand that this is a game they will lose. It is tax on low intelligence.

What are doing here among the stupid community? You are a member in this forum from August, 2017 and you have made 573 posts. I cannot understand why you are wasting your time
Wish you knew how the bitcoin can be useful in near future and how much money have some people earned and how much they are earning.

Casino owners also earn a lot of money - just like people behind crypto exchanges as ell as miners are making a lot of money. But the "investors" are like the gamblers. A few are lucky, just like the guy who wins at the slotmachine, but the vast vast majority will come out of this as losers.

152  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think we have to see 35000 usd in 2018 according to this table on: April 01, 2018, 11:00:49 AM
Today (2018/03/31)                   7003$

A year ago (2017/03/31)            1020$

Two years ago (2016/03/31)       417$

Three years ago (2015/03/31)     243$

Five years ago (2013/03/31)        93$

Six years ago (2012/03/30)         4.90$

Seven years ago (2011/03/31)     0.70$

So bitcoin is not dead and may see 35000 usd in 2018 Grin. What do you think ?

I also have Eiffeltower you can buy cheaply

Banks are now team up to use blockchain. What is your thought on this guys?
It could affect the cryptocurrency or not?

Of course they will - it is good technology. And it will be used to make fiat payments more efficient - and it will be the death for crypto currencies.

155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's official Amazon now accepts Bitcoin directly on: April 01, 2018, 10:12:58 AM
This is good news for the cryptocurrency community as we need all the good news we can get now due to prices being low and people could use hearing some good news at this point.

Another very good example that the Bitcoin "investors" in here are often people who are totally clueless - in this case falling for an obvious Aprils Fools joke.

Bitcoin is mainly driven by poor people with limited understanding hoping to get rich quick - and they will ultimately come to regret this
156  Economy / Speculation / Re: how long the bearish trend will last on: April 01, 2018, 10:00:43 AM
how long  btc will keep bleeding ?  and  is it to late to sell ?  are we in the bottom of the dip ?

thank u
I think the decline will soon be over. It has been going on for nearly four months. The price of bitcoin has dropped from $20,000 to $6,800, and I don't think it will cost less than $6,000. Now we can't give up at last, or we will lose a lot.

If you wait you will just lose even more.

At some point you need to face reality that you have taken a gamble and lost. The only question is how much you are going to lose, because you will certainly face a loss if you bought at 20.000.
157  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 09:53:07 AM
It's anyones guess what could happen, my personal opinion is that it will bounce back in typical Bitcoin fashion... bounce back with a vengance, probably to new record highs. Off course, just my opinion... anything is possible.

Reality is that Bitcoin has never bounced back with a vengeance as you say after the bubble burst in December.

Reality is that every bounce is smaller. Every time we see a rebound the new top is lower than the previous top, and every dip is deeper.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 09:36:01 AM
I do not think so, prices are so low and April bitcoin will increase more, continue to fall is difficult, see the upcoming market

See the upcoming market??? We are now close to 6000....... But to the blind everything looks like gold.....
159  Economy / Speculation / April will be around 5000 - and then further down on: April 01, 2018, 09:30:49 AM
If you look at the total developments - and not at the wild volatility from day to day:

December on average was around 15.000$ for BTC
Peak was in December where BTC was at 20000$
January was on average around 12.500$
February was around 10.000$
March was around 7.500$

It is not difficult at all to see where this is going......

160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to go below 4000$ on Feb 20 on: February 27, 2018, 08:18:45 AM
The price of Bitcoin is not likely to drop to $ 4000.Instead, the price will increase.Last week the price dropped to $ 6000.But now it has started to increase.Experts predict that this year the price of bitcoin will increase to $ 40000.

You just got lucky that a small abberration kept you above the trendline longer than the trend indicated. It will get to the 4000 just wait and see
it will not go to 4k mate investors will never let that happen everyone want to see rise and that's why people are investing more and more to see profit come earlier and 4k is very lower value so forget it,

And everyone wants to get rich quick - but wishing for something to happen, and then reality actually adhering to it are two very different things.
