depending on what you invest in coins, if the project is good and has a vision, I think it will be a big advantage in the future, even though now the market conditions are destroyed, there is no harm in buying if indeed the coin is good for the long term.
I was inactive for two months because I saw a sluggish market condition, so now I'm trying to find opportunities, hopefully in the near future there will be good news.

depends when you want to go, if you loking for big profit then invest in ico but have big risk too.
but if you want play safe invest in top 50 CMC maybe will not give you big profit and fast, but low risk.
but in the current conditions you better save your money waiting for a good opportunity to buy.

i think bitcoin price will be effect to all coin not just ethereum but almost of them have pair to btc.
so if price btc goes up/down they will follow it, even higher or lower.
but alt coin price will not effect to btc, example we can see one coin pumping above 60% but btc still stagnan.

in early yes, but since march until dec will be worse year ever, all price coin since that continue dwon.
i think this year not for crypto all coin drop above 60%, all people going crazy, many ico late for distribution, late listing on exchange.

i think someone need gift knowledge not just money, if you just give money to them they will  always stuck in same situation.

honestly i also doubt all news about crypto bad/good, the actually prediction is the price market.
well i hear about in the year of 2018 someone say bitcoin will hit 20k again. but in fact it will be hard.
so i dont really focus about news, just look about the market and you will know the situation.

for now the better way is short trading, because if you hold some coin that can be worse after 1 or 2 month.

I don't think there is anything stable, even the stocks go up and down will never be the same, especially crypto can go up and down quickly in a short time, I am also still wondering what caused the current market conditions, even a lot of good news is not enough to make the market recover.

yes but maybe in couple year, we dont really know what is coming next, but will not recover soon.
maybe next year or 2 year again, if you have some money you can bough it again at the dip and you can get 2x profit from this gaining or just decrease your lose from first buying.

for now it's better to sell it because of the severe market conditions, many ico are delaying the sale of their coins and also the ico that is finished when the listing in the market price drops dramatically, so it would be better to keep stable fiat or coins like tether to be safer.
