I agree , people have been saying this since bitcoin got in the public eye. Not that it is or isn't true what he is saying just that he has no way to know if and when it happens.

I disliked it since the ico phase , i have no idea why someone would use this coin to bet . There are a lot of betting websites that are working fine atm.

Well this crash has happened every year for the last 4 years in January . If you follow the charts from the last years we will be in a bear market for the next 1/2 months. Im just wondering if the bankers are playing a long short with the bitcoin futures . The time when the futures ended there was a big dump and when the new futures started a big pump. I'm not sure if they are playing the market but i would be easy for them to do so.

You are right , but it isn't useful as a currency at the moment . Transaction fees are to high and the network is to slow right now. So you are right that by definition it is a currency but it is more used as an asset at the moment .

I have no idea if it is China or they are just being used as a excuse , but is clear the  market is being manipulated.
Problem now is that a lot of bankers and hedgefunds are into trading crypto , these guys have the money and knowledge to control this market , and i think it is happening now.

I heard nothing but bad thing about them , so i never use them . But i expect a lot of new exchanges to pop-up with all the new users the standard exchanges are experiencing.

It will probably happen , this was bound to happen after the big pump and influx of new users . Now is the time to buy or just sit back and wait for a month , prices have always recovered in history.

You shouldn't look only at price , there are a lot of factors that come in to play. If they have a very high supply like ripple $0.50 isn't a good price. Just check the marketcap , supply , development , and pick a coin of that. By your logic you should go for 1 sat coins.

People panic sell to early . While i think if you wait you will always make more money in the long run. Also a lot of people try to daytrade because they see the swings , but they don't realize how hard it is to trade.

I'm not trying to diminish what bitcoin did and it don't know if this was Satoshi's plan. But it is inevitable that a coin with better tech is gonna take over. I'm more scared that a lot of the new users don't care about the decentralization. Which is one of crypto's biggest selling point.

I don't see the added value to buy weed with a cryptocurrency , cash is always the most anonymous way to pay for things in real life. It is just a big marketing tool.

People already got burned by btg. Best thing to do is make sure you move your bitcoin before claiming and claim the forks and move that to.

It sounds more easy than it is i think. To see such a significant rise this also means the marketcap has to double from what it is now. It is still possible i think but there is gonna be a time when people are gonna see that there are much better options available.

Then it won't be used as a currency and it can't be seen as one. Most people are scared to be the next 10.000 btc pizza guy.
If you want crypto to be used as a currency the price must be somewhat stable , or else it is just a asset.
