141  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NFT collection scam site on: May 01, 2024, 06:50:37 AM
Scammers are simply taking advantage of the current hype revolving around NFTs and those gullible enough to try and claim as many as possible. What we are seeing was expected. I could only load the achieve for the Fowun airdrop scam, but my guess is that the rest is similar. Complete garbage, of course.

You got to love the NFT counter that keeps rising every second. The scammers are trying to trick people into believing there is great demand, so hurry up and send us your money and connect your wallets. Every time you refresh the page, the counter goes down to 3859/5000. Cheesy

Don't believe in fake money fairy tales and you'll be safe.

144  Economy / Exchanges / Re: eXch - instant exchange BTC / LN / XMR / LTC / ETH / ERC20 on: April 30, 2024, 06:07:30 PM
I know that there was a discussion about it earlier, but what is the final statement, will there be or is it planned to integrate other "cheaper" networks than Ethereum and ERC20? I imagine that many would like the possibility of swapping to TRC20.
I know I would like to see the TRC20 version of Tether's USDT. But the network fees on Ethereum have gone down significantly in recent weeks. I often see recommended gas fees between 6-10 gwei. Converted to a USD equivalent, it's currently cheaper to transfer USDT on the Ethereum blockchain than it is on Tron. Tron asks for 13 to 26 TRX per smart contract interaction, depending on congestion. That's up to $3. The situation can change quickly, though, so I am hoping the TRC20 version will still be added in the future.
145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does clogged mempool affect your crypto business? on: April 30, 2024, 05:56:36 PM
<Snip>
I was only stating a fact. That fact is that you can receive bitcoin no matter the costs. It's a completely different topic of discussion if you should do it during a time of high fees or if you should temporarily switch to another cryptocurrency. This is, obviously, a question for the two parties involved in the payment. The communication should be honest, and if one side expresses a wish or proposes to use something else for the time being, a reasonable person will do that to not put the other party in an unfavorable position.
146  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - the most trusted instant exchange! on: April 30, 2024, 05:47:10 PM
I'm not sure if I understood correctly, but it seems that pnnv no longer does the exchange as a Changenow partner but in its management. Or it has yet to be implemented. Perhaps AgentF should explain clearly.
I think they are still a ChangeNOW partner service. The post you quoted from agentF is a work in progress the way I understood it. He is thinking about implementing the swap in a different way, which wouldn't involve a 3rd party. But I don't think that he has already done it.
147  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Mjesečna Analiza za Hrvatsku Lokalnu Zajednicu (Bitcointalk Croatian) on: April 29, 2024, 06:33:22 PM
148  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Jesmo li pronašli Fxsurfera& Antikvarka? on: April 29, 2024, 04:01:29 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5494305
A jesi li primjetio šta piše u naslovu? Priča o tome kako je Bitcoin najveća glupost a naslov mu je "Why is Bitcoin the Dubmest Thing Ever Invented."
149  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto diskusija, teorije i kandidati on: April 29, 2024, 03:55:48 PM
Zanimljiva informacija.

Bitcoin to i kripto to nisu.
150  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - the most trusted instant exchange! on: April 29, 2024, 03:38:59 PM
The honest reason is a 3rd party exchange will most likely ask for KYC and Source of funds.
That's the confusing part. Why would they ask for KYC if the coins go through your accounts/addresses where you already completed KYC with them? If the coins go to ChangeNOW through you, the service sees whatever real name is behind the agentF username as the person making the deposit. It's tied to your name, or am I wrong?

Based on the information I know about ChangeNOW, they will freeze the crypto they don't like. You first have to provide them the information they want to get it back. Please correct me if I am wrong here as well. If I am not wrong, how is it then that you can get them back if the person making the exchange refuses to undergo KYC or share any information about SoF?
151  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Wallet - Open Source, Noncustodial Coinjoin Software on: April 29, 2024, 03:29:04 PM
Tornado Cash developers aren’t the martyrs you think they are. Just like zkSNACKs, they took precautionary measures to minimize the risk of getting their rights taken away and their lives destroyed by overzealous government persecution. Their website had a built-in compliance tool which would do chain analysis on your transaction. They also blocked US sanctioned countries from their domain.
I know about the compliance tool. But that's not the reason why I said I think it's a shame they are gone and Wasabi is still here in the form they have chosen to be in.

The compliance tool helps those who need to prove the source of funds. No one forces you to use it or share it with any third parties. But you do need to save "the Note". I think that's what Tornado Cash calls it. The note is mandatory to allow you to withdraw the mixed tokens. It's also used if you want to create a compliance report.
152  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does clogged mempool affect your crypto business? on: April 29, 2024, 03:20:11 PM
When fees are up and I don't have too much fiat or USDT I don't want to accept bitcoin either.
Accepting Bitcoin doesn't cost you a thing. You can always accept BTC regardless of the network state. The real question is, will the other party be willing to pay you in bitcoin, and if so, will you be at a loss if they take into account transaction fees.

...but USDT is really gaining ground against everything, my friend is joking cause he says if I'm dealing so much with USDT why I don't accept credit cards also.
You can easily get disgusted with USDT or any other centralized stablecoin if your address becomes associated with hacked or stolen funds. The issuer, Tether, could freeze the USDT in your address even months after an incident happened. The worst thing is, if you didn't even do anything bad on purpose and simply accepted a payment from someone. Better use DAI, especially now with mining fees on Ethereum in the range of 6 to 10 gwei.
153  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Wallet - Open Source, Noncustodial Coinjoin Software on: April 28, 2024, 10:55:27 AM
See? No apology whatsoever...
I am sorry that Wasabi and zkSNACKs are a threat to Bitcoin's privacy and fungibility. I am sorry that you choose the dark path instead of working for the good of Bitcoin. I am sorry that you have reached agreements with your handlers on what bitcoins are good and which ones are bad. I am sorry that you are a sell-out. I am sorry that you have sold out 300 million potential users in the States and that, sooner or later, you will also sell out around 500 million unsuspecting users in the EU when your handers tell you to. But it's also a good thing that more and more people can't use a privacy-invasive and malicious service like Wasabi and its default coordinator.

I am sorry that a threat to Bitcoin and privacy like yourself is still here, but Tornado Cash or Samourai Wallet isn't. I am sorry that you are in the business of doxing developers of privacy solutions, and probably wouldn't mind helping your handlers (for money or for free) to dox the remaining ones for profit or out of maliciousness. Finally, I am sorry that someone like you gets to boast that there are open-source, and it's sad that it's enough for some.

PS: I am sorry that you believe the donations you send towards open-source software is a sign of your righteousness and morality. Instead, you are a corrupt entity, in bed with the enemy.

The privacy policy you quoted quite explicitly declares that some data is collected by the service (ironically the part you bolded)
I think it refers only to the email address if given during customer support enquiries. But hey, never trust a liar and doxing service like Wasabi.
154  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Wallet - Open Source, Noncustodial Coinjoin Software on: April 28, 2024, 09:27:29 AM
Everyone is still waiting from an apology from Pmalek for RELENTLESSLY mocking trustless open source software for months while he was promoting a trusted custodian that turned everything over to the Feds.
They got seized. But why expect a lying douchebag like yourself to know the difference. Now with Samourai Wallet out of the picture, have you and your handlers decided who to attack and sell out next? Maybe you can work with the US government and blockchain analysis to help identify the people behind JoinMarket. That's a tool that actually improves privacy, which would make it perfect for you to dox with your government pals.
155  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Decentralized exchanges with lightning network on: April 28, 2024, 07:49:01 AM
Last option I would check for cash trading is PeachBitcoin app, but I am not sure if they have Lightning support yet.
They don't mention it on their website where they list the supported payment methods. Only fiat currencies are listed there. A review of the Peach Bitcoin app by some user in March says they would love if the lightning network was supported. If that's genuine, we can conclude that LN isn't supported yet.

But they support liquid bitcoin and have joined the Liquid Network Federation
156  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ✅ INSTANT ⚡ CRYPTO ⇆ CRYPTO ⚡ SWAP NO ID/KYC Anonymous 🤖 AUTOMATED 🤖 24/7 ✅ on: April 28, 2024, 07:24:53 AM
How can you call yourself the first no-KYC exchange that doesn't require identity verification when you don't even have a working website yet? At the same time, we already have several no-KYC and TOR-supporting (instant) exchanges that have been in business for years, and their swap fees are 0.5% to 1% compared to your max of 2%.

I understand that you are trying to advertise your service as good as you can, but it can be done in a more honest way.
If you have good intentions and you are not a scammer, good luck! Hope it works out, and hopefully with lower fees. If you are dishonest and looking for a quick money-steal, then... (fill in the blanks however you want).
157  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 28, 2024, 07:12:31 AM
You may also replace the withdrawal fee details of CryptoGames with 'dynamic withdrawal fees'. Because the fee also changes their according to the condition of Bitcoin mempool.
I think I will leave it as it is for now even if it isn't correct. The reason being that they have had that fee range for a long time and might still come back to it if the situation with the Ordinals spam gets solved soon. But you are right that their fees have also increased as a result of the mempool congestion. Right now, you can choose between 0.00020322 BTC and 0.00049345 BTC, depending on how quick of a confirmation you are looking for.

BetFury uses a similar system. I just checked their fees, and they are still as shown in the table. Let's see if CryptoGames reverts back to their usual fee rates...
158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - the most trusted instant exchange! on: April 28, 2024, 06:58:11 AM
NO offense, i dont want to get invovled with ChipMixer or Sinbad.
None taken. It's your service, so you decide how you want to run it. But I am asking what would happen if you receive funds you or your partners deem "not clean" or "not clean enough". Will you recognize them as such and send them back? Or, do the coins go from your wallet to the instant exchange service where they might get frozen and a KYC check will be asked?
159  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Wallet - Open Source, Noncustodial Coinjoin Software on: April 27, 2024, 06:27:01 PM
Read the privacy policy
It must be true since it's written on the Internet.

You are a traitor to Bitcoin's mission of self custody. You are an enemy of privacy. And most of all, you are a SCAMMER.
You are a traitor of Bitcoin and enemy of privacy you blockchain-funding, death-wishing filthy little weasel. Has the rise in mining fees been difficult for the company's blockchain analysis funding? It's not as cheap as it once was.

Since they host their builds on Github you can still download them with no issues.

If you are US based and you run it and it works then they are as they say using TOR and it should not matter.

If at any time the wallet pops up anything telling you that you are US based and can't use the service then somewhere along the line they are sending your IP to the their servers so at that point you know they are getting your real IP. Which as we know they do not need.

-Dave
The blog post says that US citizens are blocked from several actions. Among those are both downloading and using the Wasabi wallet and any other services related to it. If they are lying, which wouldn't be the first time, why trust a liar with anything else they say or write? Like their Privacy Policy, for example.
160  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wasabi Wallet - Open Source, Noncustodial Coinjoin Software on: April 27, 2024, 04:00:31 PM
It's designed to provide complete privacy...
It's so private and effective that a nation of over 300 million people are now forbidden to use it. You will probably introduce similar layers of privacy in the EU soon. Then, they can also benefit from the ultimate privacy solution by not using it.

BlackHatCoiner asked a good question: With block filters and TOR, how could your friends from the government and blockchain analysis know if I am accessing the service from the US or not?
