141  Other / Meta / Re: Introducing scammers to the forum. on: April 21, 2024, 11:17:02 PM
I mean these scammers for sure are just like regular people, they surely just blend in on the forum and we have no idea who they are, these guys that is already exposing themselves are just taking their chances I guess that there might be someone or some newbies that are going to take their obvious bait, Finding out the forum was kinda easy I guess I mean this forum was kinda famous when it comes to cryptocurrency forum, if your going to search about the top cryptocurrency forum, Bitcointalk is probably going to be the number one on the list or at least on the top. There might be some, where they are only invited by their friends but turn out to be some kind of scammer, I mean they would easily expose themselves most of the time unless they will have a good opportunity to scam a guaranteed money.

For sure there are always some chances that they are referring the forum to the wrong people,I think it just couldn't be helped that we just don't know who the scammers are, even if we just told it to someone that we really trust, we just don't know if he or she is a scammer somehow.

You know if we are going to be real scammers are not going to get away the only thing that we can do is be ready and be aware of it, be knowledgable so that scammers are not gonna be able to scam you, as long as these scammers are earning money they will not stop.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin way forward - Towards $100k or $50k on: April 21, 2024, 10:45:20 PM
In last two week we have seen a fluctuation in the price of Bitcoin as at one point it looked like it will drop to $50k but quickly it rebounded back and crossed $71k once again and now it just under $70k. What do you think would be the next zone, will Bitcoin rally towards the long awaited $100k mark or dip towards $50k? I know no one can speculate or predict it accurately but just share your thoughts with any valid reasons behind it.

Seems a little stretch if we are going to assume a 50k$ or even lower than that there was a huge resistance that needed to be break in order for Bitcoin to drop that low, I mean I was really hoping for it to break since its going to be a huge opportunity for a higher profit in the future for sure, But seems like it already adapts to a lot of things at the moment, like banks, ETF, companies, countries etc. Still we don't know what is going to happen in the market, the market price was around 50k$ I think around February before it reached new resistance on a new high so its only around two months, it was fast so I was thought that it is still possible the faster the market price skyrocket the higher the chances that there will be a correction for sure, market is not gonna keep up for sure.

Also with the halving involved traders are going to realize that it is difficult to break the new resistance of the new all-time high, I was really expecting for the market price to increase around 80k$ but it didn't yes it did break all time high but it was only a few thousand dollars. When traders realize that brick wall there will be a sell of that can cause panic selling just like what happened in the past.
143  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is merit all about? on: April 21, 2024, 10:08:11 AM
Greeting everyone. I was newly introduced into the system by a friend who made me to have so much interest in the system with the zeal and the passion to learn and gain adequate experience on the system but one of the major problem I'm having now is that I'm not well clarify of what merit entails and as such I will be very grateful if any good minded person can kindly throw more light on that to enable me understand in details and also benefit from the system.

Visit the merit thread that is where you can find the perfect explanation of what merit is all about. Basically its the point the you would need in order to rank up here in the forum.

When you already understand what is merit what I would recommend that don't make it your goal, what you could do is start your investing journey into the cryptocurrency space, I mean there was no way you could completely understand everything unless you going to experience it, so the only way is to actually invest by yourself, with the exception of if you already know what you are doing, you don't really want to just invest without having the knowledge when it comes to Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, blockchains, networks etc. that is just the basics of it. This is where the forum is going to be useful, because it is a forum you could ask anywhere around where as long as it is related to Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, etc. If there is something that you don't know and you can't find the right information online that is where the forum gonna go in, ask anything here as long as it is only the right thread a lot of experienced members is going to answer all of your questions.

When you gain your experience you could answer most of the questions here as well helping other members, and that is where the merit could start dropping for sure, I mean sharing your ideas, news, and topics is already a good thing, but just don't stress yourself on getting merit, you're going to get merit as long as you are active and making a good quality post here.

144  Economy / Economics / Re: It's better to invest now than to regret it in a hospital bed. on: April 21, 2024, 09:16:23 AM
I dont understand some of the things here, I mean for sure in the end we are all going to die whatever happens, but the way I understand what you are saying here is you should invest on Bitcoin before its to late or before you die, Doesnt make sense to me I guess, it's pretty basic because for sure if wanted to save for the future, it seems like you wanted to have some kind of health insurance, I mean that was pretty easy for sure as long as you have a job you could probably easily get health insurance just to be insured if you have issues when it comes to your health you will have the insurance to pay for it.

Bitcoin surely is going to be a huge investment I mean that was pretty simple for sure if you wanted to have some something for your future then invest in your future, and one of the ways that you could do is invest on cryptocurrency or Bitcoin, It doesn't really matter you could invest on other investment for sure as long as you are investing for your future it is still an investment it just a matter of how lucky your investment will be. Bitcoin is surely a huge opportunity, If I don't know anything about Bitcoin I probably will not be able to earn or buy anything that I've been able to buy right now. I just get lucky for sure, still, it's a risky investment so there are always chances that you might lose some money.

I would surely recommend learning right now so that you can start investing right away, I mean I'm not saying that you're going to regret it but it's a good opportunity in my opinion, if you're not going to take the opportunity then you're losing some how. If you want to earn a profit, then invest on it try it experience it, You could easily do Dollar cost averaging so the best time to start is right now.

146  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always do your own research (DYR) on: April 20, 2024, 08:34:32 PM
Well that was really reckless for sure If you're going to enter the cryptocurrency space without even knowing basic information for sure this is surely what is going to happen to you, I mean it just doesn't make sense to do that at all especially because cryptocurrency involved money, you could easily lose it in here if he invested his money without even knowing what is going to happen or how it work something doesn't seems right for sure, I mean for sure you're probably going to be a newbie since you still new on something but this one sounds like he didn't have anything at all, I mean seriously investing on the cryptocurrency you should at least know what is cryptocurrency right?

It just doesn't make any sense since he sounds like that money was really important to him, and it was for his business then he put it into something that he doesn't have any idea about, I mean think about it, how did he even know how to buy Bitcoin or some altcoins he if doesn't know that cryptocurrency has a volatile market price, did he really expect if he put money it would just magically profit and increases over time?  Huh

Remember that we have the forum, so I could easily advice you to always do your research plus if there were really something that you don't really understand we have the forum where a lot of experienced members could easily help you. Be wise to learn from others' mistakes so that we can avoid losing money.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share your previous experience that you got after bitcoin halving. on: April 20, 2024, 06:29:07 PM
Before halving the price increases because of the expectation in the market of the Bitcoin Halving hoping that it is going to be a huge trigger for the Bullrun, then the market is going to drop most of the time in the Bitcoin halving itself, I guess it is just because a lot of smart traders is already taking profit from the price increase before the halving they are already expecting for the market price to pump on Halving so a lot of traders are already ready to exit at that time. It wasn't really a trap when the market price dropped I guess, since its also an opportunity for a lot of traders to make a profit or enter the market again.

Halving doesn't necessarily mean the price is going to increase, in theory since it will affect the supply it should have the price increase effect considering there might be a huge delay in its effect, wait for the network and market to stabilize at least to see its effects. I remember there might be some huge selling on Bitcoin as well due to the mining taking profit, also we could expect a lot of miners is not going to be able to make a profit on it, so they might stop mining and sell some Bitcoin or probably make some return to continue operating.
148  Other / Meta / Re: Post per day/ per month falling. on: April 20, 2024, 05:12:47 PM
It might not be the mixer ban but sure it is a part of it, I mean the posting is surely going to decrease for sure if a lot of signature campaigns are going to be stopped, I was active here in the forum, even without a signature campaign but I would say that I was not posting a lot when I'm not on signature campaigns only on discussion that I like, or if I really wanted to know some kind of information, most of the time 1-3 times only in a day, but could increase up to 7 post per day if I'm on a campaign. So for sure it still has some kind of effect on the posting count.

Merit as well is also a thing since it filters the quality of the post here in the forum, so just posting some kind of post is not going to be worth it unless it's going to get some merits because it would help you to rank up.

Also if I'm not mistaken there was a huge drop when it comes to activity here in the forum, when it comes to members, active members are already dropping a lot so that could also be a factor since the fewer members the fewer posts for sure.
149  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HAPPY HALVING MGA KABABAYAN! on: April 20, 2024, 03:30:03 PM

Cheesy

150  Local / Pilipinas / HAPPY HALVING MGA KABABAYAN! on: April 20, 2024, 04:25:30 AM
Smiley

151  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: April 20, 2024, 03:58:24 AM
Happy Halving to everyone, I mean it's a good time to start the 100 push-ups with the Bitcoin halving event, right? I would start today just to go with the trend anyway I mean we have nothing to lose here, doing push up every day is going to make us stronger not to mention what it can do to us mentally, exercise, etc. really a big help to me mentally and physically, I've been doing a lot of sports lately like basketball and badminton so it wouldn't really gonna hurt doing pushups as well. It would make our body shape great for sure I was overweight last year and because of physical activities, I'm from 95kilo to 72kilo right now so just need to keep it up.

Still, it's going to be a commitment, I've tried it already in the past and pushups every day were not easy especially if you are a huge man, like 90kilos, so better to start with a low number probably could depend it on the price of Bitcoin like if the price is 50k$ today then do a 50pushup today. I would probably do that since I wasn't strong to do 100 push-ups.

But I guess 20 push 20 5 times is gonna be doable for someone who is already fit.

Time is the only thing that is going to be tough especially if it is late if difficult to do push up if you are already tired.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where best to enjoy this forum... on: April 20, 2024, 03:32:39 AM
A look at the design of these forum speaks louder for it self... Saying you might not enjoy it using some devices...
When writing or reading I guess you know how it is with your android....
I didn't try it until reluctantly I decided to open bitcointalk.org on a computer system. Over there the difference was alarming compared to using your phone...
As much as it can be used on phone it is best with a computer system... I even noticed that without a computer system some challenges or updates one will not be able to follow up...

The forum design was fine in my opinion and the admin prefers it this way, I remember they removed GIFs in the forum, just to make it this look like just text, and everything looks kinda of old. But functionality-wise this is how a forum should be since its all about the information you are meant to be reading and typing, I don't have any issue with the design for sure and it does its job great, I don't think we need to add anything on that, it also makes it last for a long time considering the storage of the data if we are going to include a lot of GIFs, photo, video and put it here that is going to take a huge space for sure.

I gonna have to agree, there were some issues when it came to smartphone use because of the small size of the screen, but you could still make your way on it, it just a matter of what you're going to prefer using, there are a lot of members that prefer using a smartphone when they are using the forum, Personally I prefer using desktop or laptop because of the huge screen, It was just difficult to navigate on a smartphone but still doable anyway.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the common man. on: April 19, 2024, 06:55:41 PM
"common man", a common term for the average citizen.
"An average citizen", one who strives daily
To meet up in securing the basic necessities of life. Approached by Bitcoin , the common man sees hope!
Hope of a bright future.
Hope of achieving a longtime dream of primordial success.
Hope of all sorts and to all kinds of men
Bitcoin was like the bright light at the end ot the tunnel.
And it still is!

But with all the challenges faced by the average man, many have given up hope in this light(Bitcoin) .
Patience is one key factor to acquiring success through Bitcoin .

If only the common man would have to be patient, then a guarantee of life long success can be attainable.

For sure it is going to be a huge help for someone that doesn't have a lot of wealth or just a common man or maybe just regular people out there Bitcoin could probably change your life if you are lucky and know a lot about it. Patience surely is a huge factor when it comes to investing in cryptocurrency I learned it the hard way already losing a lot of possible profit in the past years, in the past halving I already made a profit exiting the market but it should have been more if I just get patience not rushing to sell my Bitcoin I could have triple my profit easily for sure.

But let's not put everything on Bitcoin thinking that it is the only way around, Bitcoin changes the lives of a lot of people by being able to earn a life-changing amount of money, but they are only lucky at some point it doesn't mean that it is possible it's already going to happen there are always a lot of things that your gonna need to consider. Do not relay it all on Bitcoin always have a backup plan that you can use because Bitcoin is still not a guaranteed things, in fact it is still new to a lot of people, its a speculative market we just don't know what is going to happened pattern are not accurate.

155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is age a limitation in Bitcoin on: April 18, 2024, 07:56:38 PM
Hi there to all of you. One of the most amazing things I've noticed about Bitcoin is that it doesn't have an age requirement before using it or creating a wallet. In traditional banking, however, one must be 16 or older to open an account, unless they have assistance from a guide who helped them do so. Additionally, no matter how young you are, no one can question you about how you make money because no one keeps an eye on your wallet.

I mean I wouldn't recommend It on children for sure since it just doesn't make sense for them to try investing at all they just didn't really build for investing or even more trading because it would be too risky, not to mention they still don't have any kind of income yet, where are they going to get the money that they are going to use for investments on Bitcoin if they don't have a job or any kind of source of income. There is just no one that is going to restrict us when it comes to Bitcoin I guess, but when we talk about the platform for sure there are some limitations when it comes to that, they probably wouldn't allow children on the cryptocurrency platform at all.

At a young age, I would probably teach my children the concept of what is Bitcoin, but not totally the application of investing because that is just not going to make a lot of sense, I would prefer to teach them how to save there own money for sure probably by their own allowance something like that, if they are having that budgeting experience it would teach them a lot when they grow up, concept of Bitcoin is not really something that you would want to force to someone, it would be better if you let them get curious on it by their own and research it on there own.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less than 24 hours to Bitcoin halving and my Birthday! on: April 18, 2024, 04:46:00 PM
No actual sign that something new is going to happen yet, we just don't how the market is going to play this time but all I know is Bitcoin Halving is a good thing when it comes to the market price of Bitcoin since it is going to affect its supply, we surely not going to see its effect right after the halving but in the long run Bitcoin halving effects is going to be seen and possibly going to trigger the market so for now I doesn't have any issue holding my Bitcoin and planning to sell when the Bullrun comes, I mean the drop surely is going to be a good opportunity to enter the market as well as accumulate more Bitcoin overtime, even though the market price is still kind high I would say that it is going to be all worth it accumulating since its still going to be Dollar Cost Averaging.

One day and few hours left I don't really expect to see a huge movement in the market, but probably if something is going to happen it's probably going to be a correction at this rate, better to hold right now if you don't have any plan on selling, or if you really want to exit the last ATH was a good exit strategy then re-enter the market when the correction comes, still relying on the Bitcoin halving pattern, if something new happened it doesnt really matter would still HOLD anyway.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The effect Nigeria ban on Binance P2P traders on: April 18, 2024, 09:44:46 AM
What impact does Nigeria's ban have on P2P traders on Binance?
P2P transaction disruption: As a result of Binance's  suspension, traders who depend on the platform for their transactions have experienced inconveniences.Loss of access to Binance: A lot of users have complained about being unable to access their cash or trade using the Binance website or app.Impact on the Nigerian crypto community: Many traders are looking into alternate platforms for their transactions as a result of the restriction, which has produced anxiety and uncertainty in the country's crypto ecosystem.Situation escalation: There are now calls for Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges to be completely banned due to worries about regulatory compliance and the effect on the Naira.
These have made things extremely difficult for P2P traders in Nigeria. One of the biggest concerns at this point is how it would impact the nation's reputation. Effect on the image of Niger:  The ban would harm Nigeria's standing as one of the biggest cryptocurrency markets in the world because it might be interpreted as a punitive step that would discourage traders from visiting the nation.
The big question remains what are the Alternatives?

Chances are government is going to ban platforms that are not registered in your country currently happening here in my country as well, SEC started banning a lot of platforms here in my country seems like they don't like platforms that is not registered to the SEC, I mean its surely make sense to them for sure, but targeting Binance doesn't seem to fit the timing, there are a lot of scam gambling website that is active online that can easily be access by anyone it would make a lot of sense to use resources on banning that instead of targeting Binance and cryptocurrency platform that is not registered, It just doesn't make sense because scam casino are getting popular recently and a lot of people are complaining getting scam on social media.

I mean you just cant do anything about it the government could do anything they wanted, the thing here is there are a lot of alternatives out there that you could use to trade cryptocurrency which is already trusted by a lot of traders, but chances are it is going to get banned as well when your government started to target this kind of platform, still, there are still a lot of methods that you could do in order to access the website if it is already blocked. VPN is one thing that you could use as well if you really want to trade on Binance.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin pump|before halving on: April 17, 2024, 08:16:40 PM
Looking at the current price,Bitcoin has pumped to $69K with a very high bullish momentum. My concern is can we see bitcoin rally to 100K before halving, bitcoin has increased by 40% so far.
Am anticipating bitcoin to surpass $72K before halving, but JP Morgan give a contradicting idea saying "bitcoin would drop to $42K before halving " ....amidst investors buying more bitcoins.
Blackrock has now bypass Micro strategy in bitcoin portfolio, been the top player holding largest amount of bitcoin and currently getting half of the market share, which I think is influencing bitcoin pump.
Bloomberg releasing a statement saying "The rate of buying of computers by mining companies have increased and also the need of electricity by them".
What are we to expect this pre-halving season...?
Will bitcoin pump more than $80K to make a new ATH before halving.
Will bitcoin drop to $42K as speculated by JP Morgan..?
Blackrock holding more bitcoin will it not influence bitcoin pumping if we say bitcoin is affected by supply and Demand...?

We already see a new all-time high for sure it's going to be enough for now, we are not on a Bull run yet so there is a lot of room for profit here for sure, 100k$ seems to be impossible right now getting ready for the Bullrun when the market backup again for sure it is going to gain a lot of momentum probably after the Bitcoin halving that is all where its start to gain a huge momentum where we could hit the 100k$ Before the halving seems impossible and I really think that breaking the all-time high is already a stretch in the market.

On the halving or probably right before the halving there was already a huge market correction which is probably why JP says that it is going to drop to 42k$ but that market is already invested so I don't really think that it is going to drop that low, since the market is on a huge hype we could already see a lot of projects getting launch every week.

My easy guess here is, on the halving, it is going to drop huge probably the lowest then gain momentum backup up to a year or more, at the end of 2025 probably the is where it is finally going to recover and reach over 100k$ sell all of our cryptocurrency then end of story.

160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't Altcoin a distraction to Bitcoin adoption? on: April 17, 2024, 05:57:04 PM
In my opinion probably not at all, since there are all cryptocurrencies, for sure These altcoins are just a copy of Bitcoin at some point, I mean most of them to exist as a copy of Bitcoin just to replicate what Bitcoin did as a digital cash right, We could all see how Ethereum started but in the long run it started to have its own way on networks, etc. And most of the altcoins these days already have there own uses where it might probably be useful, for sure there are some exceptions to meme tokens which are mostly created just for memes but still most of the altcoins these days did make a huge impact on the cryptocurrency adaptation overall.

There is probably some truth to what you have said because there are thousands of altcoins out there in the market, most of them are just useless and dead tokens already that don't have any value at all if that's what we are going to talk about we could easily say that it is easily a distraction to Bitcoin as a cryptocurrency because there is a lot of money that is wasted on some scam projects out there, then turns out to be a dead project or dead token, instead of that money being invested to Bitcoin it was just wasted to these dead altcoins, but not really on how Bitcoin is being adapted because altcoins are a huge help since people are getting exposed to cryptocurrency which is going to include Bitcoin. I know a lot of people started their interest in altcoins, and there are also some on NFTs, etc., and learning how to trade and started investing in Bitcoin earning huge profits so on and so forth.
