141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: June 02, 2023, 11:21:59 PM
if i will look at this factor,
1. product of the project
2. the whitepaper and roadmap of the project are running as specified or not
3. see if there is any progress or not in the project
4. partners in the project
5. community of the project
You forgot the team behind the project, it also important to know the team back ground behind the projects because iif the team is not transparent there will be a trust issue, most of the project that has an unknown team is scam so it is also important to know the team behind the project thier history and their background and experience.
yes I agree, for me the team behind the project is also important because these people have full control over the project. knowing the team especially the founder and CEO is very important because they have to be competent in their field, and maybe you can find out from their social media or searching for information on the internet.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: June 02, 2023, 11:13:30 PM
I see that the highest POKT price occurred at the initial listing, which was around $ 3 (coingecko) and currently the POKT price is in the range of $ 0.03 .
I think this is not only talking about the total supply but also the quality of the project. I don't think this project is feasible for long term investment and more feasible for short term investment because I see the 24 hour volume is still quite large which is above $400k.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dead? on: May 31, 2023, 11:06:56 PM
There are projects that are simply improving an old project product which makes them more attractable. Altcoins product are just keep improving, Imagine the product of top 100 altcoins from the last 7 years and compared it today. Some of those top 100 altcoin in the last 7 years becomes obsolete because of the lack of utility and just died out. I believe that this cycle will just keep repeating unless projects realized the project evolution is important and should be done to stay relevant to the current market demands.
New projects have the opportunity to increase utility and address the drawbacks of earlier projects, but the projects that appear first are usually more attractive to investors. for example ETH, many new projects claim to be more sophisticated and can process transactions faster than ETH. but I believe neither short term nor long term this new project will not replace ETH as the king of altcoins because investors know ETH better and are more interested in ETH.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 31, 2023, 01:10:47 PM
I am not a PI miner but I also heard a lot of negative news about this project, many say that this project only wants to create FOMO for its own brand benefit. but what I know is that if you mine in a short time you can get a lot of tokens and can use simple tools most likely the price of the token will not be high. but I also know that this project also has quite a large community.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: May 31, 2023, 12:59:24 PM
I wonder why lately many meme coins have appeared and many people recommend them for investment. not infrequently they also say if the price in the future will be 100x or 1000x, and not infrequently also say next doge next shiba and next pepe. but sorry I'm not that interested in investing in meme coins, especially new meme coins. maybe i will only invest $1, if i am interested  Roll Eyes
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: May 31, 2023, 12:49:48 PM
ETH had first mover advantage. It’s been adopted to the point that until devs clearly see something else that will do better for them, they’ll stay on ETH.
The issues on ETH is only about gas issues are supposed to be taken care.
With the Gas problem that hasn't been solved until now it disrupts the ecosystem in Etherum,
last time I used to be an Ethereum user and even trading on Etherdelta or Forkdelta was very comfortable,
but now because of the high Gas problem making it impossible to do, just imagine as king altcoin Ethereum has very high gas very high isn't this a joke? .
wait a minute, isn't the gas fee on ETH high because transactions on ETH are very busy? this can be proven if at certain hours the gas fee in ETH drops dramatically. this is not a joke, the fact is that even though the gas fee in ETH is very high but there are still many people who use it.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: May 31, 2023, 12:44:38 PM
it's not uncommon when the market is in a positive trend or close to bullish many new projects appear because the team hopes that when listing their token prices they are also in a positive trend. if you want a short term investment and take advantage of the moment it doesn't matter but for long term investment you should not. as you said if after a bullish many new tokens are delisted because they do not meet the requirements, this happens because most investors want to secure the profits they get when they are bullish.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2024 halving less than 1 year away on: May 31, 2023, 09:18:34 AM
When a halving occurs usually a lot of people panic buy so before the halving the price has skyrocketed, I'm sure the halving that occurs in less than a year will create a significant price explosion so that the price can reach 3x, if at the end of 2023 it can reach at least $ 50k then the price when halvings can be as high as $150k.
can't wait to see if the price action of Bitcoin before the halving and after the halving will be the same as in 2020-2021 or not,
if it's the same then you can be sure what you said about $150k might be achieved,
but if can't reach $50k first in 2024 it will be difficult to repeat history again.
normally every bullish the price of bitcoin will reach 3x higher than the previous ATH, can be seen from ATH 2017 which is $ 20k and ATH 2021 is around $ 65k. I also predict that the bitcoin price in the next bullish will not be less than $150k ,but it will likely be much higher than that due to the drastically increased bitcoin users and wider adoption.
149  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to invest in BTC? on: May 31, 2023, 09:03:58 AM
I am more likely that the price of bitcoin will rise. the reason is because bitcoin has reached its lowest point which is around $17k and currently bitcoin is in a recovery phase. so I'm pretty sure bitcoin won't go back down to its bottom again, let alone go to a lower point than before. I also believe that the halving will occur at the end of 2024 or early 2025, in other words the bull run is getting closer and the price of bitcoin will definitely continue to increase.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wrong Predictions as price keep failing! on: May 31, 2023, 07:10:29 AM
So far no one has been able to accurately predict the price of bitcoin. Even though many experts fail to predict the price of bitcoin with certainty. Therefore, the better thing we can do is continue to monitor market movements so that we can make decisions about when to buy and sell so that we can make a profit.
experts will not be able to accurately predict bitcoin prices because experts only make predictions based on analysis while crypto market conditions can change very quickly. but to make a profit we don't have to predict bitcoin prices accurately because by predicting or reading bitcoin price trends we can make a profit.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: May 30, 2023, 11:52:34 PM
for big risk you can invest in new project.
but for safety and long term you can invest on top 10 coin like btc and eth.
but from the gain altcoin will give more if that project success.
but you can also lose your investment on that.
for me $40k is a huge value and if i had it i would choose the safest investment and stay away from high risk investments with big returns. even for me CMC top 10 not all of them are worthy for long term investment, only BTC ETH and BNB are worth for long term investment.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICP - Good investment? on: May 30, 2023, 11:44:01 PM
when compared to the percentage decrease in the price of bitcoin the price decrease that occurs in ICP is unnatural, just imagine that ICP has already lost more than 95% in price from ATH. and even to get back to ATH ICP has to go up about 100x from its current price. short term investment may not be a problem but for long term investment I do not recommend it.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 30, 2023, 12:32:06 AM

I believe it's essential for us to conduct research on numerous coins that raised funds during the previous cycle and are still active, as they aim to enter the market in the near future. Some of these projects have successfully raised a significant amount of funds and demonstrate solid potential. I think the risk can be reasonably managed if we make small investments and there are opportunities for listing. I can recommend a few like Gaimin, Ego paysenger, Ethernity cloud etc
talking about ETNY, I know that this project now has 3670+ connected nodes and that is awesome. but from token sale they only got around $4.6m and probably from all sales like NFT etc around $5m. With this fact what can be expected? and why do you recommend investing in this project?
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Anyone Think Luna Will Recover? on: May 30, 2023, 12:22:26 AM
i see the total supply of LUNA is very large (similar to meme coins), i think it's impossible to reach the price like before. the LUNA team might be able to make coins again but what is hard to get is public trust, and without that trust the coins that are made will not be as big as the previous LUNA.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: May 30, 2023, 12:13:33 AM
The US government and the cryptocurrency market are having a lot of ups and downs, and it seems like they're headed towards a very important conflict. This conflict will determine the fate of many people and companies involved in cryptocurrency. They might have to shut down or move to a different country.
Yes, today in America there are not very good conditions for cryptocurrencies, they have constant courts and proceedings there and this does not play into the hands of the crypto industry, I think that all this will end up not the best side for the crypto industry, that is, the government will definitely push the crypto industry, but what will these guys do not know how to sit on a chair
for the long term it may not have an effect because crypto can recover but for the short term it may be very influential because America is the owner of the strongest currency at the moment, namely USD. this kind of conflict is common, there must be a time when this conflict will subside and crypto starts to recover and grow again.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it advisable to invest on Solana? on: May 30, 2023, 12:05:46 AM
I suggest that for long term investment you should choose ETH BNB or BTC. I see that SOL's credibility is currently declining, this is also evident from the price of SOL which continues to drop drastically and the ranking on CMC also drops. currently there are very few new projects on the SOL network, the last one is a meme coin called BONK which slightly increased the price of SOL but is now starting to fade.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a crypto project reliable and trustworthy ? on: May 29, 2023, 11:51:35 PM
true, if most altcoins don't qualify as you say. but ETH and BNB qualify because in terms of credibility, fan base, high return low risk these two altcoins are beyond doubt. both have leading DEXs and transactions on the network are steadily increasing, investing in these two altcoins is the best investment right now.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding cryptocurrencies and investment. on: May 24, 2023, 11:53:22 PM
The way I choose new projects to invest is by looking at partners, investors and funds raised. actually there are many other considerations but these 3 things that I often see. some of the new projects that I think have the potential for long-term investment are APT, SUI, and ARB. these three projects have a lot of well-known partners, apart from that these three projects also have big investors such as FTX ventures, binance, and multicoi capital.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose altcoins you buy? on: May 24, 2023, 11:37:15 PM
Most of my investments are in big altcoins like ETH and BNB, I do this because I know that investing in these altcoins is the safest investment.
I'm not just looking for an investment with great returns because after the events of FTX and LUNA it made me realize that safest also comes first. but I also invest in several new projects that I think have potential such as APT, SUI, and ARB. I say potential because this project has large investors and large funds raised.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin - PEPE on: May 24, 2023, 11:11:27 PM
So what do you expect from a meme coin that is past the peak of the hype? check at CMC, every day there is a price drop and today I saw a price drop of about 9%. and one more thing, I think the pepe community is still far below shiba and doge. I suggest not investing in this altcoin because the risk is very high.
