141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 15, 2017, 01:58:02 PM
is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? anyhow this money sits in the bank and do nothing for!
It is not only risky but it is a stupid thing to do. In investing there is a rule that don't invest what you cannot afford to lose. That is why never invest all of your assets in a single investment what you need to do is spread the money in different investment so if one fails you will have another source of income. Yes there are risk in investing but the rewards are great.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What about Bitcoin gold?? on: October 15, 2017, 01:50:42 PM
well the ones who have many btc in their holdings are the ones who will get benefits from it. because as of now my balance is 0.000001 btc in my wallet and the only thing I am focusing right now is earning some btc to fill my wallet and pay for my bills. Never the less bitcoin gold will be beneficial if you have a fair amount of it and based on what happened before with bitcoincash the price of btc will be affected for only a short amount of time and it will go back to normal or even higher.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many people against bitcoin? on: October 15, 2017, 01:43:00 PM
I'm trying to understand why are so many people against bitcoin?  is it the innovation that scares them? the feeling of staying behind? the fact that that money will go to the wrong hands?

people fear for what they don't understand. So basically the lack of knowledge is the main reason that most people are skeptical and don't like bitcoins. And if there is something new not anyone would be pleased by it even if the purpose is for the greater good just like Jesus Christ. He never did hurt, steal or raped or scam anyone but in the end the haters still have him crucified. sorry for the religious rant can't help it.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taking Courses to learn about Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 01:33:39 PM
Has anyone taken a course online on sites like Udemy to learn about bitcoin? I just received a coupon to enroll in a bitcoin course for free. Would it be worth the time?
If anyone has any experience, do share.

Nope I haven't take any course related to bitcoin. Because this forum is enough to get me educated. If you really are interested in learning about bitcoin there is no need to pay for you to learn about bitcoin because this site is enough for you to learn from basic to Intermediate knowledge If you spend time in here reading topics and post about btc. and this site is also great in giving information about scam sites or services because they have first have experience regarding on that matter. And the advice here are really helpful from those who are early adopter of btc to get you on the right track. and the best part is you can earn and learn by joining signature campaigns.

146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: October 13, 2017, 03:14:33 PM
Bitcoin is unique because it cannot be forged or duplicated. The reason is you need more than half computing power that it is used today for transacting bitcoins which is impossible because the resources needed for this is very high. Bitcoin is anonymous unlike local currency. Its value can increase exponentially compared to local currencies that we are using right now.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest now or wait a while? on: October 13, 2017, 01:38:11 PM
Hey guys, my name is Thamos and I'm fairly new to Bitcoin. I've been reading up on Bitcoin for like, only, 2/3 weeks now. I was already planning on investing but I wanted to have a bit more knowledge about it all. I guess now I do.

I was just wondering, seeing how Bitcoin's price has increased by a lot over the last couple days, when would be best for me to hop in the pool. Should I buy now or should I wait till the price drops (even if it's only by a small percentage)?

I'm just looking for some advice. Thanks a lot!

in this old Chinese proverb it says

"The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now."

This proverb applies to almost everything including bitcoins. But you must also not make rash decisions watch the market and if you can feel it in your gut that the price will get higher then buy btc. and wait till you can sell it for a higher price. Just always remember this rule in trading "buy low and sell high".
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mass adoption of blockchain on: October 13, 2017, 01:09:18 PM
What do you think is needed in order for blockchain to adopted by the majority?
the main problem that people are skeptical when it comes to blockchain and bitcoin. Due to lack of information or sometime misinformation regarding bitcoin and blockchain and what it is used for. I myself was skeptical at first regarding bitcoin because no one fully explained to me before what bitcoin is. but after meeting by brother in law and he explained to me what is bitcoin then I started using it and I am earning bitcoin as of now.

So the best way to convince the majority is to spread the information.

151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if another altcoin surpasses BTC in value? on: October 12, 2017, 05:24:25 AM
What will you do if some altcoin (XMR or ETH for example surpasses the value of BTC, either in market cap or by the price of a token each? Will you sell your BTC to buy the more "valuable" coin, or continue using and holding BTC? Also, what do you think are the chances that it could happen? I would like to hear your thoughts and opinions.

If XMR or Eth surpasses bitcoin someday i would still hold half of my btc and sell the other half to buy the altcoin that surpasses btc. the reason for this is that if before news breaks out like eth for example surpasses btc it will spread like wild fire and the effect will be large scale. but before the news takes effect on the exchange that's the right time to sell btc and buy altcoins so The price of btc is still high at that time. After that wait for that altcoin price to rise even more then sell some of it to get profit and buy btc at a lower price. The reason for buying btc is that the btc will surely will make a comeback thus increasing more profits.

Just remember in any trading buy low and sell high and you will surely get profit. Do not let greed and making decisions without thinking take over you.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: October 12, 2017, 03:08:18 AM
Bitcoins is not widely used in porn sites as you may think.(I know many of my friends still use CC and cards to pay for it.) It's true that yes people use bitcoins to pay for porn sites but that is only a small part of the market which bitcoin is used for. The large part and considered widely used for bitcoins are trading and investing sites. And bitcoin is invented and intended not to be used in illegal activities.

As for the issue of misused currency people have the right to use their money wherever they want as long as it is not something illegal. I know that buying unnecessary stuff with bitcoin is a waste but using bitcoin is what makes it alive and by paying for goods and services gives income to other people so you can also consider it helping others while also receiving something in return. I only wish that people will stop using bitcoin for Illegal stuff so that it will not tarnish the name of bitcoin.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the Philippines uproar on: October 12, 2017, 02:52:20 AM
Here in the Philippines, the growth in the knowledge about bitcoin is drastically exponential. Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?

The influence of bitcoin in the Philippines is gradually increasing in fact that because of that there are companies that is created for the purpose of transacting bitcoins. an example of this is coins.ph  which you can send, convert your bitcoins to local currency and you can also pay your bills by using their service. In fact that many Filipinos who don't have a stable job are now earning income by working online paid by bitcoins. Which means they have now financial freedom which really helps the economy of a country. because when ever you buy something you are paying a tax and if that money you are using are from bitcoins earnings that sure is a proof that bitcoins helps the economy.

I would rather write articles again for 0$.50 for a minimum of 50 words(i usually pass 150 words or more) for that rate. Because there is huge possibility that I will not win and all the work and effort that I will spend writing that articles will go to waste.

or 1$ for a minimum of 100 words per reviews is good enough for me. I can submit at least 5 articles a day or 10 if I am not busy which means you will get a lot of articles from me for a fraction of a prize. I am suggesting this because In my boring and aimless life I have not won any competition that involves money (I have tremendous amounts of bad luck) that's is why I would rather work for what I earn than relying on my luck.

Why does the spreadsheet doesn't update anymore? I am bothered because mine is still 13 but I have more than 20 posts now.

I'm not sure but it seems like post that in the local section like what I have seen in your post's doesn't count. well you can PM our campaign manager about that.
