141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC mining after 120 years on: December 01, 2017, 09:17:41 PM
It is terribly tough to have this conversation because we won't know what the block size will be, how much one bitcoin will cost, and many other things (amongst if bitcoin will be alive then). Therefore I think this conversation is essentially moot because of that but it is nice to discuss theory sometimes I guess Roll Eyes
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you ever think on: December 01, 2017, 09:08:05 PM
Of course I do think this will happen one day. CME is launching their futures on Dec 18 with NASDAQ also piling in sometime next year. You have tons of funds also vying to get into the bitcoin space and they will start small but once they realize cryptocurrencies are here to stay I imagine they will expand their indexes, have more futures for more coins, and last not but not least they will have ETFs which I believe are on the horizon and will come in 2018 if not 2019 for sure.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin become proof of stake without anyone noticing? on: December 01, 2017, 08:53:18 PM
I suppose so? But if you had any decent amount of your BTC in alts and didn't get out then you got completely rekt over the last few months. So for some yeah they profited a big chunk others got destroyed and some broke even I bet. But nonetheless very interesting concept and view of the forks way to think outside the box!
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -The first Segwit Masternodecoin 0.14.0.3 Airdrop on: December 01, 2017, 08:44:08 PM
I unfortunately got wind of BitSend only allowing Legendary members in from here on out and that kinda sucked. I wish that I could have made it for next year but that seems like it won't happen now. Is there any chance of increasing the members from 1k to 2k in the future or is that going to be capped until the distribution is done?

Also I know about Bitcore project a little bit how does BitSend differ from that one? I know it is run by same people but I am no tech guy could somebody try explaining it to me like I am 5 (ELI5 for those of you who reddit Tongue). Thanks Smiley
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: December 01, 2017, 08:33:21 PM
So in the long run, what is the point of having BTC and Bcash? Surely one will absorb the other eventually?

There isn't a point other than greedy and non-agreement between parties. That is why next year in 2018 you may see at least 5 different forks happen. Their motive is pure and simple greed and oh yeah they claim they are changing something for the better. Until I see it I won't believe it and I think that is why BCH came around. Whether one will absorb the other or not remains to be seen but their could be a possibility of having two functioning bitcoins one just won't be as popular as the other is all.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: December 01, 2017, 08:22:50 PM
A legendary user promoting qoinpro with a ref link?

That's sad.

I agree but one thing I have realized is just because you are legendary does not mean you

a) have much BTC
b) are smarter than everybody else here

All it means is you have been here for a two years and that is that. Somebody should really open up a new thread and moderate it because this thread is essentially useless. You have to go through tons of post to find a semi good drop with all the referrals, the crap scam drops, and whatever else random posting. Seriously it is embarrassing to watch this thread grow so big but yet be a complete waste of space, whatever I got my popcorn popped.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Small altcoins – large profits on: November 30, 2017, 12:58:54 AM
Hello, folks! Do you ever pay attention how cool and large can be your profits if you invest not into the top-10 alts, but to the smaller, less known altcoins? Status, Peercoin and Stellar Lumens jumped so high! And Cardano showed everybody its real force!

Yes profits are bigger but also so is the risk. You don't run the risk of investing in ETH or LTC and have the devs run off with your money which is awesome but yeah their is downside of course to betting on smaller marketcaps. Try to get a judge of character and the community before investing into smaller coins because they can give better returns but they are also some sick bear traps out there. Stay safe friends!
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 30, 2017, 12:37:33 AM
You can make 0.05 eth very easy with a few free airdrops here!

Not really sure about this one as most airdrops here turns to scam after you joined. I've joined plenty of airdrops 2-3 months ago and seems there's only a couple of token company who actually distributed their free airdrop tokens.

You can but it is annoying and tedious for those who live in 1st world countries. I imagine for those in 2nd or 3rd world countries these airdrops are enough to get by on but for us with higher standard of living it is hard to muster anything out of airdrops. But you never know you could find a diamond in the rough as they say, but I for one stopped putting my effort into these and focus on real projects. I realized I can make tons more doing that.

Those of you who are waiting patiently I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news but please take this as a lesson and don't trust unproven devs. There was no reason to pour money into this coin until there was some trust but I guess the FOMO hit hard and people wanted to get in before they lost their chance. Well now it looks like you may have lost some money on it but please do learn from this we need less scammers in crypto (I know crazy thing to request but still) we gotta get rid of these scummy scammers.

I don't know any tracking services myself but was curious how often does the spreadsheet update? I applied roughly a week ago and I don't think my name is on their. Did I do something wrong possibly or am I a goofball who missed his own SN on the sheet. I am hoping it is either one or the sheet is slow to update Cheesy
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins got me my X. on: November 25, 2017, 11:32:44 PM
Last year when I came to this forum last year, I was working as a employee, same routine life, same work, and the usual low class life. I had since iphone 3gs wanted to own a iphone, use it and have what it feels like to own a Apple iPhone and a few days back I ordered it, made the payment to the guy using BITCOINS, planning to use it for a year or two and sell it and again buy Bitcoin. For all those who say Bitcoin is not East to be traded, is a scam guess what I have successfully quit my job, brought my X and am living an amazing life thanks to Bitcoin. A big thank you to Bitcoin and this community. May my story inspire you'll to earn more coins.

Your story very much inspires me because I too like you quit my job for this industry and I think it can do wonders for my life too. Whether that will happen or not remains to be seen but I am optimistic and bitcoin continues

to rise so I think the outlook is quite good. Thanks for sharing stories like your provide true inspiration to me and I hope one day I can make a post describing my story and can in turn give hope to others.
152  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 25, 2017, 11:26:59 PM
I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.

Bitcoin is something you buy with money. It fluctuates a lot daily, weekly, and monthly. Anything you can put money into and lose is called a risk. Anything that has risk is associated with gambling. Bitcoin is gambling, you

are the one who needs to deal with it my friend Cheesy.

I could not for the life of me figure out why the bounty campaign thread is bigger than this one can anybody explain? I ended up joining the campaign and I must say it coming to this thread and seeing a professional post &

undertaking such as this is quite great. Good to see this project being serious I am happy to support these kind of projects Smiley

154  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: Most dangerous country in the world at the moment on: November 16, 2017, 10:24:41 PM
I would say North Korea but the damage the Syrian dictator is doing to his own people plus the worlds is outright crazy. Nothing like the dictators of old but still for todays day and age it is still inhuman to be treating your

citizens like trash. Also yeah how could you forget the US of A where all the gun murders happen? I think they should most definitely be on your list as those guys are constantly shooting and murdering individuals.
155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Blocking bad drivers or cars from entering controlled access highways on: November 16, 2017, 10:23:03 PM
Seems tough to implement but I am all for it as it would make driving safer and this is always what we strive for a safer world. Although I will say not sure how much practical it will be given that autonomous cars are almost

being rolled out to everybody. Granted it will be 5-10 years before everybody is using them but I cant imagine putting in such an expensive system only to have it overhauled shortly thereafter. Seems like bit of a waste no?
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] | Bitcoin Blue | BTCB | AIRDROP CLOSED on: November 16, 2017, 10:20:03 PM
October 28, 2017, 06:30:40 PM - October 28, 2017, 07:47:32 PM

1 hour and 46 minutes to signup for the airdrop? W0w that has to be a record!

I'm thinking scam but I haven't had long enough to think about it.

Maybe a scam but not a record. Ethereum Ice had their airdrop signed up for in about a minute. Granted it was only to 100 people but still that was supremely quick. An hour seems like a lot of time for these free coins to get

snapped up!
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOSED] 🚀 FREE AIRDROPS 🚀 - 🌟 eBIT 🌟 -💰 1st of 25 rounds💰 on: November 16, 2017, 10:18:10 PM
I have not receive my token yet plsss  Cry Cry

Me neither but it probably takes some time for the contract to execute I imagine. I am no tech guy so dont take my word for it but I would be patient for a few days while things get rolled out. Besides they are free coins being

given so no point in getting greedy over it.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]📢📢📢[BCCS] BitcoinCash Scrypt 📢📢📢 Live on Coinmarketcap.com 📢📢📢 on: November 16, 2017, 10:17:11 PM
the dev dumped his coins. he is gone.

How can you be so sure you have proof about this dump? Or is it because of how the cmc graph looks you make these assumptions. I may as well sell the few coins I have myself too then although it will cost just as much to

withdraw from Nova Cheesy
159  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: November 11, 2017, 05:50:46 PM
Guns should be illegal in all countries unless you are a personnel who has been trained to use them. This way we save many lives more than probably would get lost in actual gun violence.
160  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Loosing motivation on: November 11, 2017, 05:48:15 PM
If you see a little child you can see the spark in their eyes. As we grow we keep loosing that spark. Life gets harder and keeps sucking the motivation out of us. I think motivation is the most precious thing in life and we loose it so easily without even being fully aware of it. As I grew up the most difficult thing I've faced is to keep myself motivated. The dreams we dream don't just come true. Our reality is totally different from our dreams.

Well I think our motivation gets sapped when we give up on our dreams. If you try following your dreams and actually going for it you will have motivation for it because it is your dream and if you fail you will not regret trying for that dream.
