For me, in the first place bitcoin is not all about gambling. The gambling world just adapts bitcoin and create new features about it. There are a lot of ways to earn bitcoin, yes gambling is in the selection, but it is not all about gambling. You can earn and obtain bitcoin in mining, trading, investing, joining in the signature campaigns and many ways more. Bitcoin is a digital currency that you can use to buy and transition to other people without any help from the bank.

Yes bitcoins is not a gambling because gambling is a game while bitcoins is more likely a currency a business and an investment. This involves a lot of risk but it doesn't mean that this is a gambling. Gambling is more likely a luck while bitcoins depends on how good you are in trafing or whatever strategies are you doing and it also depends to the peoplehow much value it will be in the market while gambling are fixed. Bitcoin is a currency.  You cant say money is gambling itself.  But if you invest your money and convert it into bitcoin,  now it is gambling.  Because you take a risk investing your money to a volatile currency hoping it would rise up in the coming days,  but you know it might also drop.  There is still win or lose in it,  so basically its still gambling.  The process is gambling,  not bitcoin itself.

That is sure as of now, the price of bitcoin is just climbing and climbing and i think that after the 2nd week of the december then the price of bitcoin will have a rally up to 10,000 USD which will be triggered by the whales and other huge fishes in the market. 2018 will be just a part 2 of the rally for the price of bitcoin which will push bitcoin to the maximum price.

I think that you do not know the definition of gambling. Gambling is not defined by time and usage of internet.

It is gambling, if one is not careful enough, this person could lose money. For example one thinks that it is time for investment, he buys BTC, waits, BTC starts to grow , he is happy. Few days later BTC starts to drop and drops below his initial investment level, he starts to panic and sells his btc. One has to have experience and cool head. Not to mention leveraged trading BTC which is possible in some trading platforms,  there it is possible to lose BIG.

As your said, he is a gambler, but Bitcoin is not gambling because there are many people became the traders, investors in this field. Some people do not have time for trading Bitcoin, they have decided to become the holder of Bitcoin and never sell their Bitcoin below the base price (bought price).
