There is already several alternatives with less energy footprint like proof of stack, master nodes securing the network, different mining algos with less energy consumption... more energy from different sources is continuing the same problem, if you see it as a problem.

Well, some coins need to start looking for new exchanges, several coins were listed only on coinsmarkets and currently they are untradeable... Not a lot of value for coins with 0 liquidity for  days or months until the market comes back. |

I've been participating in signature campaign of Semux progect sinse 09 Dec. 2017.
02.01.2018 (or 03.01.2018) I've became Jr.Member. But 08. Jan. 2018 I got just 7 SEM for last week.
Could somebody explaine me why I got SEM like Newbie?
This is understandable since each round we get more participants. This means that more people are sharing the signature rewards. This will continue to happen as we get more and more people joining the signature bounty. In part lower rewards are compensated by the increase of value of the coin and bigger community supporting it. Less semux but more value  |

Well, the delisting of CoinExchange was a request from the developers because they want to focus in bigger exchanger. This request was done when they went into Hitbtc. Anyway right now CoinExchange does not want to delist the coin, just look the twitter of taht exchange.

What will happen with not swaped sub1x coins? Will they be airdropped to masternode owners, burned to sub1x adress? used for exchange listings?

I Try to buy some BBP since a few days.
But both Platforms do not work.
C-CEX does not support new accounts at time.
And CoinsMarkets seems to switch servers and crashes everytime i want to log in.
Where can I buy some BBP right now?
You can't buy anywhere if you don't have some funds already deposited in C-CEX, coinsmarkets has been down for several days pending a server upgrade... No market at this moment, mining is the most straightforward way of getting some bibles. |

the name makes it look like its for biblical purposes but the it looks as if it's also for profit.
The expected use is as coin for charity and non profit organization donation management. Everything mixed with some christian principles, some mining and sanctuaries  |

I'm new to semux. I only heard about it recently when looking over posts about upcoming BTC airdrops. I've reviewed posts made by the semux Bitcointalk user, skimmed over the various FAQs and other websites, but I still have a few questions about the project.
It seems like instead of "mining", there is a "forging" process that allows by special nodes called Validators. To be a Validator, it seems just must first register as a Delegate (burning 1000 SEM) and then get enough "votes" from other nodes (or your own I assume) to rank amongst the top 64 vote getters. For each SEM you own, you can cast a vote. When you vote, that SEM becomes "locked" and cannot be spent unless you go back and "unvote" for that delegate.
Does a node (wallet) get anything in return for their votes? Do they get part of the 1 SEM (soon to be 3 SEM) block rewards from the Validators? Or do the block rewards go solely to the Validator who forged it?
If you don't get anything in return for your vote, I'm not understanding the point. It would seem the Delegates would most likely just vote for themselves (if having enough SEM) to stay being a Validator.
Sorry for the probably basic question, but I'm just trying to learn more about the system. Thanks.
It is a good question. The answer is just the validator gets the block reward (currently 1 SEM son 3 SEM), but it is an interesting idea that the voters get part of it. There are forging pools that do this (somehow). I could be wrong so wait for dev to final answer. Here is a pool I found. https://semux.info/poolNot sure if you get paid for voting if you don’t register, waiting for an answer to that one myself. At the moment validators receive the forged block, then it is up to them to share the reward to voters or not. In that pool you need to register, later the owner of the pool process shares and rewards with is own scripts. |

i have some 0.00etc coins of this one on an ERC20 wallet but i'm not interested in swapping them. All i see is some shill form those that already have a amasternode and only one dev that keeps on making money from those that want a masternode. I really don't see any future for this coin and i hope i'm not wrong. Every time a coin had over 100000% return that led to a huge inflation and finally to a dead coin. Maybe i'm wrong, good luck guys
Most coins with low supply end up dying just due to lack of trade volume. No idea what will happen in this case, but bitcoin is also a low supply coin and the solution was simply trading 0.1 bitcoins instead of packages of 1000 btc. If there is interest and development there will be some trading whatever the coin and the units. |

They could do it more elegantly changing at least the front page to some status update instead of a cached broken site for several days.
