141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk!! A name behind another scam on: March 18, 2021, 10:34:55 PM
It is unlikely that Elon is involved in some fraudulent scheme. It's completely different.
He is not involved in these fraudulent activities mate, I just wonder why scammers keep using his name to scam innocent people, the scam trick is kinda old but somehow people are still falling for this shit, I wonder what people think before sending bitcoin to scammer hoping to get x2 immediately makes any sense, they don't ask themselves how will someone give them x2 immediately after sending their bitcoin, it's high time people stop being too greedy and want to rich quick through crypto.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 18, 2021, 10:16:28 PM
You're lucky to have bought by then, but I don't you think selling all your bitcoin becuz you are profit is a wise idea, it would be a whole lot better if you sell a small amount and keep the rest cuz the bull run is still on, well the ball is in your court it all depends on how you wanna play it, also about investing in altcoin projects, I just hope you know the risk that comes with that  Tongue, don't expect a %100 return they are alot of scam projects, so do a good research before investing to avoid losing your money to scammers.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Bitcoin which is best. on: March 18, 2021, 09:49:41 PM
One is the first ever digital currency and the other is a breeding ground for most new projects, bitcoin has a low supply which is capped at just 21 million while ETH has a much larger supply, now its just left for you to decide where you would rather put your money that would give you a high return in the future, I'm not advising you to invest in one of them alone no, I think its best you diversify and make your portfolio maybe 70% btc and 30% Eth, that way you won't miss out on any pumps on either of them.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ADA Scam sites are unstopable? on: March 18, 2021, 09:41:31 PM
Sorry about that, but it's funny how people believe some things that are way too good to be true, how can an investment site offer you insane APY and you feel it's normal?, I think there's no putting an end to crypto scam as it stands, cuz no matter how hard we try to combat fraudulent activities this scammers just always find a new way to get what they want which is stealing money from their victims, we just have become smart and stop believing all those high returns they always promise us.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoins dropped to $9.50, would you sell everything? on: March 17, 2021, 10:56:58 PM
Wow, glad I came across this thread from 10years ago, really nice seeing people support bitcoin during the early stages, when only a few people had the opportunity to grab bitcoin at a very low price, who knows if most of them haven't sold off their bitcoin during the 2017 bull market, but if any of them actually keep it till now they should be millionaire/ billionaires by now, If I could see Bitcoin at the price it was when they discussed this I would still buy it Grin.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network on: March 17, 2021, 10:22:42 PM
... Snip..

Next Bitcoin? are they dreaming, they better get the facts first, it's fully decentralized they have full control on everything and they are asking for KYC and they are monetizing their platform, they are users, and they want to make a profit out of their users, they don't have a chance at all to enter even in the top 100, once they distributed the tokens, those who mined will dump it, and leave it.
Airdroppers are the people shilling this Pi network of a thing, since they can actually earn free tokens from it, hoping it will be the next bitcoin, i don't even think it's possible to mine with a mobile phone, but those devs have decided to fool tons of people making them feel like they are mining something useful not knowing they are actually helping the devs to make good money becuz just as you said there are ads on the app, imagine 1 million people mistakenly clicked those ads even for once, those devs are making shit load of money, damn.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is It Still Profitable To Mine Cryptos In 2021 on: March 16, 2021, 09:36:03 PM
I have never tried mining any cryptocurrency before, reason is becuz mining crypto are quite expensive lately and requires alot for you to be able to make a good amount of money from it, also the cost of electricity in my country is super high I don't think I will be able to mine enough bitcoin or crypto that will be able to cover for those fees,  cuz I will probably be a small miner, instead of mining wjy not learn trading and make good money from there?, at least trading you don't have to buy graphic cards or pay for electricity.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were me , Do you buy this coin ?? on: March 16, 2021, 07:12:19 PM
If I were you I won't think this project is too safe or has low risk becuz of the points you stated, I dunno about you but every new altcoin project I see out there scares the hell outta me, cuz they could be real projects and still make me end up losing my some part of my capital without making any gains, remember not all projects will go x100 alot of times they don't meet up with the market demand and then the next thing they go the other way round which means dumping, take your time and think it over before jumping in to invest.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience isn't everything on: March 16, 2021, 07:01:03 PM
When I was still a newbie to crypto many people told me to keep holding and that's all I did for many years and in the end I ended up with many dead coins, whenever I keep seeing people talking about patience as if it's the only thing a newbie need I always shake my head, the fact is you need more than patience to get good results from projects, having patience sometimes will get you nothing
IMO I don't think they were wrong, imagine you bought and held bitcoin during those times it was very cheap, by now you would be having millions of dollars in your wallet rather than another dead coin, I came across a tweet where CZ said only those who can hold will be rich and that's a fact, hold ingis good but it matters on which coin you are holding, if you keep holding a coin that doesn't have anything to offer it will die and become a shit coin over time, trying holding coins that seem to have a good future and thank me later, lol.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Elon Musk invest in Cardano? on: March 16, 2021, 06:53:36 PM
Have gone through Elon Musk's Twitter Profile and not for once have I seen him mention anything about investing in Cardano, the tweets you will normally find is about his companies SpaceX and Tesla, or maybe he probably post a meme about dogecoin or a funny write up, which he does most of the times, I hope you are not planning to invest in Ada just because of that, cuz even if he makes a move to invest in Ada after the pump comes massive dump, better you do your own research rather than wait for Elon Musk's announcements.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: March 15, 2021, 09:52:27 PM
When should long-held alt coins be sold? When to sell even when we are in profit? That doesn't make sense. Let me know if there is a suitable alternative to this issue.
If you're lucky your long term coins are in profit, then selling would be a nice idea, but if you don't feel like selling at that current price at that moment, then you can simply hold the coin a little bit longer, if you see that there are some exciting things coming up that would help to drive the price up, after that then you can just dump, becuz whether you like it or not you would still have to dump that coin, no matter how long you have held it.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network on: March 15, 2021, 09:33:59 PM
This Pi network is literally everywhere right now, I have seen so many people talking about it, I guess everyone mining it now are hoping it will become the next bitcoin in the future since its free and doesn't have any value now, personally I don't see any reason why I should mine this coin, can anyone explain to me the real use case, cuz the only thing I see people post is about how it's going to be the next big thing in crypto  Cheesy.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about the Old coins? on: March 15, 2021, 09:00:27 PM
Hello Guys,

Coins on top for 2017 like EOS, VET, ZEC, DASH, NANO, XTZ...
Can they compete with existing coins like DOT, LINK, coins on DEfi.

Should I invest in old coins?

Just because bitcoin was made with old tech doesn't mean it cant compete with the current coins, no doubt the current cryptocurrencies are more advanced, but I still feel these old cryptocurrencies would still stand a chance as long as they constantly improve the project in order to create more demand for the coin and make their coin more appealing to investors, although I still see these old coins you mentioned having some kind of events from time to time, they are still worth investing in even though they are old projects.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stable coin when selling crypto? on: March 15, 2021, 08:36:46 PM
USDT or BUSD? I never really sold and withdrew any crypto before. Just wondering what most people do on here when selling and tranfering to their bank accounts.
I normally exchange my crypto to usdt alone, and I'm used to it already each time I want to sell on Binance I only pick a USDT  pair, becuz with USDT I can access both  Ethereum and Tron blockchains since it runs on both of them, I believe almost every trader make use of USDT becuz it is available on almost every crypto exchange, but I can't say the same for BUSD which is only listed on Binance exchange now, maybe exchanges will consider listing it when the demand for it grows.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Will Coinbase list Dogecoin? on: March 15, 2021, 08:24:10 PM
I haven't come across any news about coinbase listing dogecoin yet, but if that happens we will definitely see dogecoin price rise to at least 10cents,but there's a huge chance it might not happen, cuz they are no more Elon Musk's tweets to pump up the price, just some bunch of people holding thousands and millions of doge waiting to dump on the poor plebs if it eventually list on coinbase, for now I doubt if it gonna list tbh.

158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins shall I Buy Now!!!!!!!? on: March 12, 2021, 10:46:38 PM
Coti has alot of potentials but I can't advise you to buy, I think its best for you to conduct the research on your own and make your decision on which coin to invest into, cuz everyone here would just share their opinion if you follow any and the investment doesn't turn out well, I just wonder who you are going to hold accountable for that, so be wise do your research and decide on which coin you will invest the $1000, goodluck with that mate.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to invest in BNB now? on: March 12, 2021, 10:20:54 PM
In this March, I can't make my own satisfactory trade due to my wrong decision and research. But I got some profit from BNB and used buy back policy again and again. Today, I sold my all BNB token at around $245 but now it is still bullish in mood. The next major resistance is located at the $300 level. So I need some suggestions whether I go for buying it again or should I stop here.
Atleast you have made profit by selling your bnb holdings, bnb is still trading below $300 there's a chance it might be able to reach that price again but nobody can say when that will happen, before thinking of buying bnb again ask yourself if you think the bull run will still continue cuz if the bull eventually stops soon the price of bnb will surely fall, maybe by then you would get some cheap bnb's, I don't think it's wise to reinvest in it again becuz you might end up losing the profits you have already made from the first investment.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin to invest on: March 12, 2021, 10:11:25 PM
I've been looking to invest in some rising altcoins for quite a while now. Any suggestions for temporary investment? Smiley
Why not just buy and hold every single dip bitcoin makes, cuz someday you will be glad you actually did that, I can't recommend any altcoin project, cuz I can't tell if they will be around for the long run like bitcoin that has been existing for approximately 12years now, most of those new altcoin projects are just pump and dump coins, some might even have a good start but along the road, when there's no good news coming they eventually die off, so it's better to invest in reputable cryptocurrencies.
