141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to have bitcoin shortage? on: July 19, 2018, 08:04:04 AM
If there will be a bitcoin shortage then the price of bitcoin would be that high and everyone can spend each satoshi for the things that we want to have.

You know that this is one of the beauty of bitcoin, though there are only 21 million supply and there's portion of it that were lost completely you can use it and divide it with decimals.

Like today we are using it with fractions so it won't be a problem if you are thinking there will be a shortage.

The exchange rate of bitcoin has increased quite rapidly in recent years which of course be a distinct advantage for you who invest bitcoin sell at a higher price than when you buy it. Because of its limited number it is believed that bitcoin prices will get higher and higher, as well as gold prices.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing on: July 18, 2018, 03:43:57 PM
I'm not sure, but I really hope that after such a low fall there will be high growth!
chances are you do not see the market today, as prices are on the contrary there are some slight upside but yesterday the price rose quite high up to $ 7000 from initially $ 6000 it instead of being very encouraging news.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Tracking Your Crypto Investments? on: July 18, 2018, 10:40:20 AM
Hi, I recently started to invest some amount in altcoins along with my existing Bitcoin investments and the very first thing I realised that tracking the multiple investments was the problem as I rarely buy more than one alt-coin from the single exchange.

I recently came across this portfolio management site and I am impressed with it. How many of you are already using Cryptocompare for tracking your investment portfolio?

They have some additional interesting features like (maintaining sales, risk analysis, advanced chart, accounting etc) and they are going to turn it into paid subscriptions in the coming period.

I am mainly looking to track my long term cold storage investments so I don't think I would need those features as of now or at least in next 2-3 years.

Do you know any better alternative? Please let me know.
you can use Altpocket is a social network that meets cryptocurrency trading. This is a web platform that lets you track your portfolio and can share information to compare yourself with other users or friends. In addition you can see your transaction history when buying and when to sell.
144  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why are governments biased towards banning Cryptos? on: July 17, 2018, 02:44:24 PM
we all know that Bitcoin is a virtual currency that is stored in digital form inside a wallet. Bitcoin storage. Bitcoin Wallets can be tablets, smartphones, computers and laptops that are all very vulnerable to viruses. And it will fall prey to theft by hackers, and this is the main reason the government has banned bitcoin.
145  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's future is DOWN on: July 16, 2018, 04:03:32 PM
By the most logical thinking:

•  There's strong evidence that the late 2017 spike in Bitcoin value was due to manipulation via Tether.

•  IF that is so, then that entire episode actually means nothing, and...

•  Bitcoin etc values will decay back to their historical levels prior to pump & dump.

•  This will be slow because interim buyers won't want to take the losses.

Look at BC charts for the past 6 months.  It's very easy to imagine the average value continuing to decay down to $400 in 12-18 months.  And that's what makes sense - at least, more sense than anything else.

A few brilliant traders will make money getting in and out during the decline, but all the other players here are just rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.  The only "charting" you need is the big picture here.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no reliable way to buy a put on BC for that time-frame, or I would.
i believe bitcoin have a very bright future because bitcoin is very useful currency in market and its playing avery big role in any country economy.
Among the factors driving Bitcoin prices up, there is an element of recognition from a stronger economy. Hence, the opposite is true, ie, the price of Bitcoin falls if a stronger economy oppose and prohibit its use.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: My Advice on Investing in Crypto on: July 16, 2018, 03:27:20 PM

Risk can mean a lot of things.  Investing in cryptocurrency means you have a risk of losing money. Your money invested can decrease in value, possibly to zero.  ALL investing involves risk in one way or another. Stocks often can go down in value over periods of time, just like crypto.  Do you remember what happened in 2008?  The S&P 500 dropped by 37%. This decline in the stock market was one of the worst in history.  Severe market corrections are not uncommon, especially in cryptocurrency!

Good article and this was my favorite part. I am tired of trying to explain to people that BTC is not the only volatile stuff in the market. Look at the price of vegetables,  avocados, for instance.
Congrats on your article, thanks and +merit for you.
Thanks for your contribution.
Having a written investment strategy also implements a discipline not to make decisions when unexpected events occur. Where on speculative investment will definitely happen. Going back to your initial thinking can hinder to act emotionally for fear or greed.
147  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Government on legalising bitcoins on: July 16, 2018, 02:40:25 PM
This is good if the intention are for the sake of their people but we all know how government rule one country. I think its better to have a detailed law about this that can surely protect investors and the businesses. Legalizing is indeed what we need instead of banning cryptocurrency but hopefully we can see more transparent government regarding on this matter.
Because it does not have a central server and no regulation is regulated, bitcoin transactions can be done at will. Of course as long as you have a bitcoin virtual account or wallet. No taxes will be charged to us, like when transactions through a particular financial institution.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin requires approval from countries ? on: July 16, 2018, 01:33:24 PM
Germany recently approved bitcoin, why exactly is the approval required and what will happen after approval ?
It doesnt really need any approval or be legalized for people from a specific country be able to use bitcoin and even a country banned the use of it people can still use it but the problem is people cant trade it for local currency or use it for payment. After an approval from a country of course people can freely use bitcoin locally and exchange it for fiat without worrying that you are doing an illegal activity.
Sometimes, we do not want people to know what we have bought. Bitcoin is a relatively private currency. On the one hand, Bitcoin transactions process is transparent thanks to blockchain, everyone knows how many Bitcoin addresses hold transactions.
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's heart on: July 15, 2018, 11:09:16 AM
When you are a trader in this market. The first thing you do is learn. Learn about technical analysis, capital management and how to control your emotions.
Maybe, You are good trader. You can be a very disciplined person when trading, you always stoploss and take profit at 5-10% point.
But have you ever forgot yourself? it's just for a short moment. That moment is you falling in case with nothing to lose - a gambler's mentality. You drunk blood and completely forget about the discipline you set before.( Especially when you join the margin )
Why do you join the trade in crypto? This is due to fluctuate strongly of this market, "high risk and high profit ". And there is a bit of gambling in it. RIGHT?

STOP LOSS always always. Absolutely right.
Control emotions? LOL. Crypto already stole my emotions long ago. I dont feel excited neither upset when I make profits or lose money.
it happens if the merchant really wants to get more, think about the profit without seeing some of the risks to be gained when the price drops. If he is chaotic or stressed at a time when the price drop means he is not a good trader, because a good trader will figure out what if a price drop will happen.
150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why we should not panic about the Bitcoin price. on: July 14, 2018, 01:35:33 PM

I have always believed in btc. Not for the reasons above, but because I have invested in it. So I believe
Believing is one of the most powerful weapon against stress. It's difficult to wait for the price of bitcoin to become high again, but if you have the patience to wait because you believe in bitcoin ,your investments would be worth it in the future.
up and down the price is already commonplace in the world of crypto so we do not have to worry if there is a decline in prices because of profit not only at the time of price increases but ektika decline in prices we can increase our assets and save it if at any time the price can rise...
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: July 14, 2018, 12:13:58 PM
I fully support the creator of this article! By itself, bitcoin appeared after people were tired of enduring! In all countries, a machine is turned on and new money is printed, thereby inflation takes place, thereby becoming more expensive, thereby depriving people of their money! already there are few countries where paper money is equal to the amount of gold! Bitcoin will never be a classic paper money system!
an era of progress which, when progress can be accepted among the community means that old habits are considered hunting, but it is not like that crypto is better than paper currency but crypto can happen because of paper currency so that from few years ahead it is expected easier transaction implemented does not mean paper money is bad...
152  Economy / Economics / Re: Does money make you rich? on: July 13, 2018, 04:46:55 PM
Yes, money make you rich.  If your answer is no, it means the money you have is not enough.  Someone need a lot of money to be rich no matter if he/she don't have any knowledge, information, wisdom etc.  If you have money you can pay someone else who have knowledge or whatsoever.
not money that makes rich but how we can manage it, manage it, and finance management, useless if we have a lot of money but can not manage it, invest or trade one of the factors that make us become rich.
153  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: China’s Crypto Ban Surprisingly Effective on: July 13, 2018, 02:41:25 PM
cryptocurrency transactions in recent years become booming in China. Many investors are turning to the Bitcoin market, increasing demand. So that's the reason to close the crypto transaction as an effort to anticipate the potential risks that arise in the future.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: centralize money vs. decetralized money (bitcoin) on: July 13, 2018, 01:53:07 PM
Only Financial Advisor that in relation to a bank will choose a centralized money since banking system is manipulate by few entity. Decentralized is the best for all normal people so that we can have all financial freedom.
this is the talk of many countries as the era of modernization continues to evolve for the advancement of life into a big problem that will eliminate traditions such as this currency, and this is one of the causes of some countries that still ban digital money spread in the country about not want to get rid of their traditional currency characteristic of the country.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: July 13, 2018, 08:32:24 AM
Bitcoin is extremely safe,to investors, for buy and holdlong, for trading, all you to do is be very careful with your password, don't look at the price, its the nature due to buying and selling like trades..
This is a safe way to save Bitcoin, but you need to trust the person who saved this key. There are many reputable companies like Luno that you can rely on
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade? on: July 12, 2018, 11:25:51 AM
Of course, now the safest - trade in day. And with lyuboy trade it is necessary to use stop. Without this function you need to run from the exchange, and at the same time to take all the capital. Surely expose feet, without them at all in any way now.
One of the great benefits of crypto trading is the potential profit to be made. Not many people trade Cryptocurrency market, so it has not become saturated by others trying to get on the action. It should be understood that as well as your great victory can also be a loss, and ideally you should understand Cryptocurrency technology before starting.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term argument for bitcoin on: July 11, 2018, 03:30:11 PM
Long-term investment is the right place from now on, especially on the issue of Bitcoin prices. The financial world recognizes the return of long-term investment plans, such as making a big bet on the future of a company or asset that will deliver much better results than short-term prospects.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen after the last bitcoine is mined? on: July 11, 2018, 11:48:07 AM
There would be many possibilities when the last Bitcoin is mined. Many are hoping for Bitcoin to go mainstream and it is possible. Bitcoin has the most trust with respect to all cryptocurrency that exist so it may be. The price, on the other hand will not be stable. Based from the law of supply and demand, the higher the demand and the lower the supply, the higher the price. Since the supply is constant and the demand is varying, the price should be varying as well.
It is true that once all Bitcoin is depleted, transaction costs will be the sole source of income for miners. The main concern is whether the transaction costs will be enough to keep the finance of the miners afloat.
159  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: July 10, 2018, 09:18:04 AM

I don't have idea about what Facebook , is doing.. ? , but if they are buying , this tells that bitcoin is important
when is this news coming up? as long as I use it until now I think facebook is still not open on crypto it will never open the crypto ad because its sensitive founder who speaks to see the shortcomings of the facebook crypto will never open the ad service for crypto because it is facebook users in some circles from small children to people adults are feared if they see and try it will happen a new crime
160  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Four Arrested in Ukraine for Running Six Fake Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: July 10, 2018, 08:37:07 AM
No surprise. It's easiest way to get followers. Exchanges are big for some, especially new coins. And they try best to promote it and get listed there.
Also each exchange has it's own crypto, so here you go. Pump and Dump.
this is a matter of great fear for some countries that have not legalized bitcoin like Africa and other countries about the impact if crypto or bitcoin is released then criminal acts will arise such as murder, theft and so on so that they are making some regulations to regulate how to follow up things like that or at least can reduce if something like that happens
