Be careful not to reveal any information about the BTC anywhere or to anybody, some website out there is phishing website that can steal bitcoin by asking private key or seed words, probably its good to keep even the address as secret. Find as much information and learn how to handle - Transferring BTC but do not transfer any BTC to any other account you don't know

Wow if its from an estate then probably there is some amount of BTC there, is the website url blockchain.info, as far as I can remember blockchain.info will log you out after certain time passed without activity. Since your rank still Newbie you cannot post image here, you can just upload the image at imgur.com and just simply post the image direct file location url, but if it is logged in blockchain.info account dashboard you should not share any image of it otherwise the BTC will get stolen easily if you expose the private key. |

basically in 2 week period you can only earn 14 maximum activity, wait for the next 2 week period your activity will increase automatically to 28+14 = 42 and stuck at 42 for 2 weeks again |

If these users don't need anything else and just want to hang out in the alt sections they can still do that without merits. Nobody is getting banned for not having merits.
But I have a feeling that they do need something else... am I right?
Generally others takes ranks as measure of how trustable the person is, its impact their ability to conduct certain trades at marketplace and also in their general interaction with other as higher rank members which usually regarded higher rank member as more trustable and more likely to not doing something that breach the forum rules. I see that whenever low rank member open a topic he will be bombarded with abusive response, get ignored and in some cases get red trust from higher rank member no matter how good his suggestion is, but when high ranking member open a topic which already opened by others and suggest something that totally useless and impractical, I see that everyone just agreeing to it just because they see it is posted by high ranking member. When low rank members disagree, they get bashed. So there is reason in part of lower rank members to want to rank up. Why don't just remove ranking system and merit system all together if its serve no purpose and will not prevent anyone from posting or whatever, since with or without rank and merit everyone still can post anything they want its just the same as don't have it at all. It will free up resources and also probably make the software more faster and responsive without all that rank and merit complexity & logic |

If he is posting as reply that is not against the rules, only if he open new topic with same content at multiple board and you can see it on the board listing then he is cross posting. Just look at Bitcoin Forum > Alternate cryptocurrencies > Marketplace (Altcoins) > Bounties (Altcoins) where people reply to the bounty topics posting with same translation reserve reply over maybe 30 plus topics almost exactly same message, but it all in the same child sub board. If you read this carefully its specifically talking about opening a topic not replying 12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated). |

There is no discrete rules as to what is constructive post, quality post, its totally just readers discretion but I see your current ranks helps too, if you are lower rank no matter how good your writing is there is no chance you get any Merit.
The merit you see given around it is mostly not because of the content is Meritable it is because they are friend and they exchange Merit between them.

As much as I can see those who received huge amount of Merit do post useless spammy post as well even if it written in good English and its just full of bullying, threatening, abusing lower rank members and suggesting mindless merit related rules that not only burden the admin with more work also impractical.
