The big day finally comes. The first korean project is out. I'm very curious about your performance.

Based on this quote from their newsletter

We have set out to launch TokenNet on the 31st, but getting listed on the exchanges is a totally different issue

I would not hold your breath for "the big day".
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins - Exceptions of following Bitcoin on: October 18, 2017, 03:07:20 PM
I am watching altcoin prices in relation to Bitcoin Curve. Mostly they follow Bitcoins up/downtrend.
But there are some, which differ distinctly from other altcoins and have opposite trend to Bitcoin like for example  NAV, NXC  and STRAT. Would be interesting to find out those, which regularly move against Bitcoin trend .

Here is a super useful tool for coin correlation trends. I am not aware of any coins that have a strong opposite trend to bitcoin. At one time, ETH had a strong opposite trend to bitcoin but recently that has not been the case. Especially in an irrational market like this, correlations could switch at any time. People say the mantra bitcoin down, altcoins down. Bitcoin up, altcoins down but that has not always been the case nor will it be guaranteed in the future.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★★ Top 5 Best Cryptocurrencies & Alt-coins Investment for 2017 ★★★★ on: October 18, 2017, 02:55:45 PM
The top best currencies to invest in aren't going to be the coins that are already top 20 or even top 100 on coin marketplace. Hunt for low-cap, pre-hype coins and you'll likely get the best returns. Bitcoin or Ethereum may 2-3X next year but 100x is extremely unlikely whereas a coin under 10 mill marketcap has no where to go but up (Unless it is just a scam coin).
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins are CRASHING!!! Is it the next crash? BTC Down to $5300 as I type this! on: October 18, 2017, 02:48:40 PM
If you followed the first golden rule of crypto investment of not investing more than you can afford to lose you should have enough spare capital to just buy your coin on the way down to lower your average cost and put you in the green sooner when it rebounds. I got burned hard when I bought ant-shares at its ATH of 13$ right before the first conference, it subsequently declined to 8$ and I bought twice as much so I could sell at 13$ again and still make a nice profit. Obviously in hindsight I wish I had held till $50 but the principle is the same. This only works if your coins fundamentals are still good though. Obviously don't try to average down on a scam coin.

I'm willing to buy 2 Boscoin nodes at launch, free rewards during TokenNet is worth it as you don't have to pay hosting fees.

Do you think that launch will be the optimal time to buy or shortly thereafter? I'm torn between buying ASAP and waiting for potential sell orders to pile up a little more from the ICO investors.
146  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: October 17, 2017, 04:53:21 AM
If you are going to be converting crypto to fiat on a regular basis it just makes no sense to do anything but sell it yourself. It takes some time to build up reputation on the p2p sites like paxful or localbitcoins.com but if you are earning a steady stream of crypto's it's worth the investment as you'll be getting 5%-15% above the spot rate when you sell it yourself.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: October/November Best ICOs on: October 17, 2017, 04:23:21 AM
Are there any non ethereum based ICO? I see that ethereum connected ICO's mostly considered as scam.

Thanks

I found ICO alert pretty useful for finding ICOs including those that are not ethereum based. Though, searching through it can feel like searching for gold in the middle of the dump. I don't think that there's anything about ERC tokens that make them inherently scammy, it's just the lower level of effort required versus building your own platform which likely attracts the bad apples.
148  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 🔴 Legendary Member seeking BTC for PayPal ~ 10% Vig 🔴 on: October 17, 2017, 03:55:31 AM
I'm a trusted Legendary Member who's using this Newbie account in my control for privacy reasons. Via PM, I will easily confirm my identity to the person whom I'll be conducting this transaction with via my LM user account.

I seek to obtain $509 worth of BTC via PayPal sent as a gift or friend/family member. No escrow, and I will go first, assuming the party is deemed trustworthy.

The fee I'm willing to pay is 10% equating to $51 (rounded up).

Thank you in advance.

Bob (not my real name but close enough for signing off purposes)

Could you explain why you need to hide legendary account from the general public but can reveal it to anyone by request over PM?
149  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tips for Beginners on: October 16, 2017, 09:00:30 PM
Hello Friends...

I am a Newbiew In Bitcointalk forum. There are so many people lost their money due to lack of trading Knowledge. So with this Thread my question is! How to trading with local markets or with international markets.

Please provide Do's and Don'ts during the trading.

I have only been trading on LBC and paxful for about a month now but I can tell you a couple things that I have learned.

Do

  • Write a good advertisement with strong security features right from the start, this will automatically deter scammers and buyers that are not serious
  • Read the forums of the platform you are planning to use first, this will save you a lot of heart ache from scams

Don't

  • Ever accept visa! Extremely reversible.
  • Accept paypal without setting up a proper stealth account.
150  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What technical indicators do you use for trading cryptocurrency? on: October 16, 2017, 08:46:36 PM
To all the master traders, top winners, and geniuses, please share your top technical indicators for trading cryptocurrency, which is the best?

I am not a "master trader" by any means but I did do some reading on the subject to help me time my buys better for my sales BTC sales on paxful. The most useful tool I have seen so far is using Fibonacci retracement, you can use it in trading view on most of the major exchanges. Essentially you draw a trend line and it will automatically calculate the most likely key "resistance" lines to help you find price floors and price ceilings. It's not fool proof but I'd say it can help your chances of getting your timing right by 10-20%.
151  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I want to enter on this ''business'' on: October 16, 2017, 04:38:09 PM
Hello to all . I am new here and i hope you can help me with some answers of my questions.

I am a little bit new in this ''business'' and i want to know if i can enter now to mining bitcoin .

I have 1000 euro for beggining and i want to know if i can start to mining from home . The electricity is not problem for me ( cost 0 ) and also i have a room where is cold all the time and is ventilated . Anyone can recommend me something to start ?

Thank you

With 1000 Euro you would probably be better off investing in building an alt coin mining rig out of used parts gathered online from places like kijiji. Returns on coins like ether for example can be a solid 8 month equipment payoff period and unlike bitcoin mining your equipment should have a reasonable resale value especially the GPUs

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ether hard fork and prices on: October 15, 2017, 02:54:47 PM
I bought some ETH before the fork in hopes that afterwards there would be an uptick in investor confidence thus a small price increase. That and I could not bring myself to buy bitcoin this close to the all time high. Time will tell if this was a good idea I guess.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOS] 🔹🔹 BOScoin 🔹🔹 Self-Evolving Cryptocurrency Platform🔹🔹 on: October 15, 2017, 08:19:16 AM
I would say 500m is realistic given the South-Korean cryptocurrency frenzy and current market conditions.

I am not trying to FUD but seeing as the ICO had a market cap of 15 million don't you think that there will be some sell pressure when it hits the exchange as the ico investors cash out their 30X gains on their investment suppressing the price at least temporarily? IDK maybe all the ICO investors have hands of steel but I know that I personally would probably cash out before hitting that kind of return. I can't see buying these futures being a smart move unless 30x marketcap on the first day is something that is normal, certainly possible after a month or two though I'm sure. The highest jump I've seen is QTUM with 15x when it hit the exchanges but this would blow that out of the water.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BOS] 🔹🔹 BOScoin 🔹🔹 Self-Evolving Cryptocurrency Platform🔹🔹 on: October 14, 2017, 06:01:06 PM
Does it make sense for BOScoin to launch with a market-cap of around 500 million right from the start? Based on the HiBTC IOU's that's where it seems to be headed right now, do the IOU's tend to be overvalued due to the limited supply?
