141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Pump and Dump illegal/legal? on: February 24, 2018, 08:39:55 AM
Dear Community,

i found a channel/group where they pump and dump altcoins (https://t.me/AltcoinPumping)
I joined it, but I saw, there are over 16.000 members investing in a mentioned coin (sometimes more than 800 Bitcoins) and I have a little bit fear now, because it´s so big, that I think, it is not allowed. Shocked

Is here a expert or something who can tell us, if "Altcoin pump and dump" is illegal?
And how is the tax handeled with pumping profits?

I hope, you can help me, I searched in other boards and in different topics, but no one had a "save" answer. Huh Huh Huh

Greetings, Nacho

Maybe, it's not regulated yet. But form my perspective, pump and dump group can damage the crypto community. They only make a profit for themselves. I've been joined some Pump and dump group, and there is no positive impact for may crypto future.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Government plans partnership with OmiseGO! on: February 21, 2018, 02:46:12 AM
Another great crypto news came from Thailand.
OmiseGO, public Ethereum-based payment platform, signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of digital technologies Thailand for collaboration on system identification and online payments on a national scale.
Read more here: The government of Thailand will release the “digital passport” in partnership with Ethereum startup OmiseGO.

This is good news for asian market, especially for south east asian.
As far as I know, OMG is one of token which shilling by Vitalik Butterin.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 21, 2018, 02:40:44 AM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?
Thanks

It's depend on your behavior. If you like to trade, then you need to keep it on exchanges. But if you a holder with big amount, it's better to keep your coins in you wallet. Another safest way is using hardware wallet like trezor or nano ledger.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][ICO] Asseta ICO - POTENTIAL SCAM AND FRAUD! on: February 20, 2018, 01:32:53 AM
Thanks for your warning. So, we have learned today, that Linkdln account can't guarantee anything about legit ICO. To define great ICO, there are many things to do. I like your investigation, and maybe I should follow your mechanism.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: many ICO altcoin , What can be trusted? on: February 20, 2018, 01:23:39 AM
Well, this is quite hard to answer. We are on anonymous world, Although they have a LinkedIn account, it seems you can trust anyone. Personally, I can't trust only in one project (ICO). You have to put your investment carefully, and take a profit as soon as possible, before that project becomes scam or the Dev abandoned the project.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a quick question on: February 19, 2018, 12:42:33 AM
Its probably the used that softcap amount to pay their operational expenses.
It's normal I think, the need you pay the team or the promotional tools.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose your bounty hunt? on: February 19, 2018, 12:37:38 AM
I choosing bounty campaign which meets these criteria:

1.  Minimum telegram members above 3K
2.  Are they using Bounty agencies/Bounty manager or not?
3. Check their MVP or product, I choose project which has potential product
4. Check their ICO rating also, I choose between 3.5-5
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 💰💰 Mark Zuckerberg says Facebook will look into cryptocurrency on: February 18, 2018, 02:33:14 PM
I think it will be a long journey for Mr Zuckerberg to build his own Crypto. He lives in centralization era. Facebook is the main social media which centralized everything. It will hard to him to adopt the crypto world.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cardano (ADA) is the coin to look out for. on: February 18, 2018, 02:28:24 PM
Can you explain more about your news in this thread. You only share a link, this is discussion group.
At least, make a introduction about that news, so we can share our thought.

By the way, I hold CARDANO also. Its very promising coin.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PolySwarm raises 15M in presale! on: February 17, 2018, 05:03:44 AM
It seems good project. What is different between Polymath Network? Both token looks like focusing on security matters.
Can you share the ANN Thread and Bounty Thread?
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: February 17, 2018, 04:57:16 AM
Good post at the beginning, but it seems many people only sharing their referral links here.
Maybe mod have to filter this thread. To much referral is not good.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best signature campaign? on: February 16, 2018, 04:13:11 AM
This is my advice. You can find any good bounty at this section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
Or you can try to search at this site: https://bountylord.com/
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyetherWallet Security on: February 15, 2018, 03:19:43 AM
What is the safest way to log MEW among of these?
    1.Keystone File
    2.Private Key
    3.Connecting Metamask.

Better using Metamask while login to Myetherwallet. Private key is to risky.
You can use private key as long as your computer clean from any malware or keylogger.
154  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: TUTORIAL: Cara Cek Balance ETH Secara Massal on: February 15, 2018, 03:12:22 AM
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: February 14, 2018, 03:22:51 AM
I heard about a guy in Moscow, who jumped out of the window, because he lost all his money in crypto investments and trading. So, do we have a new free heroin here? Is it possible to get addicted to crypto?

This is so sad.. Any source or link about this story? I want to read it.
Well, Crypto trading is highly risk. Personally, I've loss my capital around 70% since January-February market crashed. At that current condition, I tried to calm myself and learn about my mistakes.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta Responds on: February 14, 2018, 03:03:47 AM
Well they finally responded. Looks like they are aware of the issues and trying to fix them. I know many of you are not fans of ED, but the fact remains that they are the only DEX that allows for custom tokens. ED also has multiple other unique features and is a fan favorite by many even given the problems the site itself faces. They are supposedly working on ED 2.0 and if that happens, sites like IDEX and Radar Relay will be toast. I hope these guys get their act together because over the few months of learning how to properly use this site I have learned that there truly is no other option but them for doing what I do.

https://twitter.com/EtherDelta/status/963567531565842432

This is a big dilemma for me. Sometimes, I very hate ED for all their behavior and product. But I agree with you, Etherdelta is the only DEX that has high volumes of ERC20 tokens.
Recently, I starting to trade on Idex.market for an alternative. It's good DEX too.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be patient for your profit on: February 13, 2018, 03:25:43 AM
Patience takes time. But it will give a significant result. In the past, I was impatient. But now, I have begun to learn from my mistakes. Here's how to learn about more patient to face the market:
Relax - You may have lost, but you only lost the fight not lost the battle. Be assured that your assets will rise in the future.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is KYC?Why do you need KYC in buying ICO? on: February 13, 2018, 03:13:21 AM
I thought you ask a question about KYC, it turns out you gave the answer.
If you buy a legit ICO, I think it's ok to give your privacy. The problem is, sometimes we don't know which ICO is legit.
There is always a chance that your ID may be misused or sold to another party
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: February 12, 2018, 03:27:59 AM
Why not? I think it's very helpful to find a good ICO. But we have to remember, ICO ratings are not the main factor for us to judge.
We have to still do some research deeply.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened with etherdelta? on: February 12, 2018, 03:08:23 AM
I heard from someone in telegram group that Ethedelta API was broken. That's the main reason we got some error in BLOCKFOLIO, DELTABALACES GITHUB and any others app which connected to Etherdelta site. But I can't find any source or link about that information. I hope etherdelta still safe.
