Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?
No, it will not be a course or degree. It maybe part of the subject of the course but not as a major course. There are no valid reasons that bitcoin will be included as a major course because of the situations right now.

Ethereum is falling rapidly in recent days due to news about the ban of ico advertising on twitter and facebook. Do you think Ethereum will reach$300?
If banning of cryptos in all social media will push through, ethereum's price will go down below 100$. Bitcoin also went down these days and ethereum is affected by this dropping of price.

Another great decline in the price of Bitcoin as it goes below $8k. The price was around $8600 yesterday and as the price went down it touched as low as $7770 which is almost a $1000 price cut in BTC. How long do you guys think the decline will continue and how less the price could go ? What might be the reason behind all of this after the statement from MtGox trustee that his selling is not responsible for the decline ?
Keep calm because everything will be back to normal. 7,000$ is still abig price for bitcoin. Actually comparing to its price before, bitcoins value is still the biggest among coins. The reason why its price decline is because of the big news about google banning crypto. Well, just keep on holding your coins.

My friend just told me recently that he is leaving the bounty that we both joined last January. The ICO has been delayed many times and it is getting longer. He said that the longer the bounty period of an ICO, the fewer the coins that you will earn. So it is true based from your experience? Should I also leave or stay?
It depends on the supply of the coins and the number of participants in the bounty. Also, depends on the reached cap of each bounty. If the project reached their hard cap, then you would expect big coins. Likewise, if there are few participants but have big supply, then you will receive huge clins as well.

After them, we never know whose next but since these two giants companies are powerful, then you now have the hints whose next. In terms of negative impact of these actions, yes, there are. It will greatly affect the ICOs since they are relying on popularity or reaching more audience as investors.

I am pretty much interested to know how many people here uses bitcoin because of it's system, because of the anonymous and the security it provides, and because of the fact that it is really easy to transact over the internet, and there's no one who can just block your account(unlike paypal, a platform that provides an easy way to pay over the internet, but you rely on PayPal to keep your account open).
So, are you guys using bitcoin because of it's nature, or because it's a financial tool of making money?
Of course yes. When the price become highly stable, I will still continue to use it. Since I am already earning in Bitcoin, why would I stop. Let's see the reality that Bitcoin now is more of profit or money making thing. Many bitcoin holders believe that it can give us good income or profit.

I was thinking if bitcoin will ban from every country if bitcoin will vanish one day then what will happen? I got my Answer, Without Bitcoin, my life will be so boring! Now, I spend almost 7 to 8 hours behind bitcoin and bitcointalk, I love it, I enjoy my time. But if bitcoin dies! I can't imagine What will happen to you if bitcoin will die (Long Life Bitcoin, We will go to the mars again very soon) I agree that Bitcoin gave us many benefits and actually changed lives. It is advantageous because of its ability to provide profit. But life without bitcoin is not boring. Life without bitcoin is still a life that needs to be cherish and have to find reasons to make it enjoyable. Happy life should not only depend on bitcoin.

I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!
Investing in ICO now is not the best time I think. Why? It is better to invest before because most of the ICOs were legit and you ca really make a profit. Nowadays, many ICOs are scams and they just collect money, after that, they will abandon the coin. It is better to invest in coins available in the exchanges.

cur·ren·cy read as ˈkərənsē (noun)
-a system of money in general use in a particular country.
So, is bitcoin money or currency?
Bitcoin is both a currency and money. Originally, Bitcoin is created as a currency that could be use as payment in virtual world. If Bitcoin is used as a payment method, then we can say it is a currency. It becomes money when you actually encash this and use in physical world.

This is the biggest news we ever had, its bigger then china/south korea bans etc. Which leads me to believe that bitcoin can easily fall below 6000.
This step of google will make the cryptocurency a small world for them. Its gonna be a tight battle between countries, digital world and the people. We all know that google has a big audience or subscribers. Not only youtube will be affected but also blogging sites because most of them are controlled by google. Google ads also has the biggest audience over the internet. This is really a sad news.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore, any suggestions? Your coins must have no value and yet you keep on holding them. When the first time you hold those coins, you must have read the roadmap and developers of the coins. It is really disgusting to hold coins without value especially for a long term. You hold the coins that are called "shitcoins" and gave you no profit. Better invest in coins with value.

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
If someone gave me that Bitcoin, I will immediately convert it to cash. Since it is a gift, meaning, I have to pull it out and buy something worthwhile. You have a very generous friend and I hope you will buy something that has value or keep it and make the best out of that gift.

IF im " SATOSHI NAKAMOTO " I WILL FIND A SOLUTION FOR :
- Transaction fees - Network speed - Dev Community consensus
IF YOU ARE SATOSHI WHAT WILL YOU CHANGE ?
If I am Satoshi Nakamoto, I will create another coin that has the same value as Bitcoin so that people have alternative aside from bitcoin. In this way, people will also have to invest in other coins other than bitcoin.

Like the title says, i would like some feedback from the experts in this industry, so far i have gathered these 5 most important that seem to be used by everyone, can you add more ways?
1. Twitter 2. Reddit 3. This forum 4. Telegram 5. Slack (which i heard is full of scammers)
Please add on your list "Facebook" and Instagram. For me, facebook is the most effective social media platform to promote bitcoin or altcoins. As we all know, almost all the people in the world are using facebook. Only few are using those stated above. Facebook also is where the most people under the borderline in terms of social status in life. If you are into investing, go for those stated above.

I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.
Thanks guys!
That is the common attitude of those new in trading or in investment. When people see that the price is high, they are encourage to buy and hold thinking that it may get higher in the future without thinking that it may change over time. Then when the price becomes low, they are worrying that it will turns to have no value so they sell. You must avoid that and condition yourself that prices change from time to time so do not panic.

What do you look for in a whitepaper? Got any tips to read whitepapers? especially if it is a 50-page whitepaper?
In whitepaper, you can find the full details about the project and how it will gonna push through and become successful. Commonly whitepaper are too long and time consuming to read. As for me, I only go to the abstract of the summary and go through the process of the project, the developers and the road map. I only focused on those things.
