141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't worth it for consumers. And that will stop adoption. on: June 18, 2015, 05:38:52 PM
This is a disadvantage for the consumer specially if the bitcoin value fluctuate. But for merchants they have all the advantage from no chargeback, low transaction fees and no merchant charge.

People who have faith in the bitcoins will never stop the adoption and will continue to use the bitcoins irrespective of the value that bitcoin has to offer and adoption is lower at present due to the price fluctuations and that doesn't attract a newbie who wants to get into bitcoins.
142  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: June 18, 2015, 05:34:35 PM
Yep, I work in IT and know several ladies who use bitcoins, some of them get paid in bitcoins for their freelance work.

Yes and that is the great news for the bitcoins community. The involvement of women will create an difference  the volume of bitcoins and as women are much more talkative and loves to gossip even on rubbish things for hours and hours I think now they have good topic for gossip i.e. Bitcoins which would create awareness level among their friends and family  Grin
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Ever Take Out a Loan in Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2015, 05:28:37 PM
I want to get loans because with loans, I can either make more money, or sometimes you need bitcoins instantly, but you don't have any now.   Smiley

But you have to be very sure before you go out there for a loan as high risk is involved in taking a loan in bitcoin as there are chances the person run away with your bitcoins so my advice is trade with someone you personally know.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pay your employees in Bitcoin on: June 18, 2015, 05:23:57 PM
If I'm not wrong a country in Europe dont allow employers to pay employees in Bitcoin. Should be Sweden or Finland. Not sure. It is somewhat a old news. Anyway, I do hope that more and more companies will be paying workers with Bitcoin.

Yes if more and more companies starts paying their employees their salaries in bitcoins the more and more people would start knowing what bitcoin is and start adopting it and that would be the best for the bitcoin users who wants that acceptance should go high.
145  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 18, 2015, 05:21:22 PM
i think somebody who is already using a porn website that they like, should send them an Email with this suggestion. they should explain to them the advantages of accepting bitcoin and tells them about how they can do that. this way we might see them start accepting bitcoin as payment

Porn websites already know about the advantages of bitcoin. The advantages mean nothing if people aren't spending their bitcoins on the sites.

Porn websites are much more smarter and tech advanced then we believe and people have started using bitcoin on the porn websites and they would attract their customers by showing some promos that makes the customers to spend more and more bitcoins on the websites.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should i move my ''saving'' to Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2015, 05:18:07 PM
Only invest what you can afford to lose

A great many famous people have said this like...umm...hmm...

well, I'm sure a few people that spent their lives working hard only to retire with a minimal retirement said that and lived a half way normal boring life

you only get one life...throw some risk in there

"Live Life The Fullest..There is No Tommorrow"

I Agree with you that we have only one life to live and we need to make the best use of it. And taking risks sometimes is also a fun I guess. It is better to take a risk rather then not taking a risk and regret in the future and I believe investing in bitcoin would be the best option available at present.
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: June 18, 2015, 05:14:29 PM
The question that made me recall back to when I started in bitcoin and that was 2 years ago but seems like yesterday needess to say time flies.

Why... I started bitcoin because a friend was using it to buy some gadgets from the dark markets and when I see the power of it and what it could do I had to jump aboard.

Yes and some of the advantages that bitcoin holds fiat doesn't hold that advantages and it is most convenient at present for the online transfers and it is hassle free and the best way to transfer money in short span of time.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 18, 2015, 05:11:36 PM
Nobody of my friends got interested in Bitcoin, because they don't care about saving a few bucks purchasing with it and don't believe they can make a fortune by buying some BTC and holding. But I made some of them to instal and keep running PayCon wallets just because the aspect of fun got them attracted to it. But they dumped everything after a while when got bored..

When we would be having fun at our retirement age they would be crying that why they didn't invest in bitcoins at a right time. So it is our duty to recommend our friends and family to introduce them to bitcoins whether to accept it or not it is the individual's decision. You cannot help it.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: June 18, 2015, 05:08:51 PM
I use Bitcoin for a few main reasons. One main reason is for online purchases. In my opinion, Bitcoin is way easier and convenient to use for making online purchases. I prefer Bitcoin over Paypal. I also use Bitcoin as a hobby and for speculation.

Paypal is something very boring and hectic and I think now it has become a history. Bitcoin is a future and will change the financial system for sure and I generally prefer it for online money transfers as it is very safe and at lower fees and also a time saving process.
The main problem is getting the BTC in the first place. The average joe sees a hassle to convert their dollars or euro into BTC before purchasing or paying. Only when jobs are offered to be paid in BTC we'll see more usage by "normal" people.

That is true If the companies starts paying their employees their salary in Bitcoins then it would create a great impact the adoption and the usage of bitcoins, We want that the demand of bitcoins should go high then only there would be a stability in the value of bitcoins.
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, the Religion?! on: June 18, 2015, 05:06:29 PM
Some devs treat their coin like a religion. They dev and dev and dev even on shitcoins that are going down the drain.
It should be considered a disease.

Or I think it is an Addiction of people towards bitcoin. They want to earn more and more bitcoins and in quick time so they trade, they even Gamble to double their bitcoins and end up loosing. So I believe we should consider bitcoin just as a currency and we are using if just for fun.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in your country on: June 16, 2015, 09:43:19 PM
Hardly anyone i know in my small Florida beachside town has ever heard of bitcoins.

They have actually arrested someone in my state for selling bitcoins, keeping us safe from crypto anarchy...  Cheesy

Are you Serious?? If this is the case in Florida then what would be the case in the Developing Countries? In Florida if a person is getting arrested for selling Bitcoins than in Developing Countries if he is caught selling Bitcoins then he would be hanged till death..Lolz..Its a fact that very least are aware about the bitcoins in my country.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Ever Bitcoin Bank to be Opened in Switzerland? on: June 16, 2015, 09:40:14 PM
Poor article, it doesn't say a word about what this bank is going to do. Who will be its customers? It's already very easy to buy and sell BTC in Switzerland. What is going to change with this bank? What will be better?

Yeah and now we are so used to the Bitcoins that neither we need a bank nor we need a support from the government to start adopting and accepting bitcoin as a currency the only thing we need is the adoption from the people around us and if they are not aware we need to create an awareness level among them by disclosing the advantages of holding bitcoins.
153  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 09:36:55 PM
i started reading about bitcoins back in 2013 but was abit to scared to buy some ,so I conducted some research about bitcoin and learned the whole infrastructure behind it

I read in 2010 but at that time I was not financially stable to invest in Bitcoins but then I invested in Bitcoins in last year and I searched on the google regarding the advantages attached with the bitcoins and I was convinced that I should hold some bitcoins which could be helpful to me in the future.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are The Financial Elite Saying About Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 09:34:13 PM
bitcoins has no interest to get more whales to pump and dump it like they do with others altcoins... soo better medium as low class on bitcoin now... later who knows ...

Yes and we should really not care what people around us are speaking about the bitcoins, The same was the case when internet came into existence every one was against the internet and everyone thought that it would be just a snap shot but today everyone knows what internet is and same would be with Bitcoins in the future.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: anyone read this article: The scam called Bitcoin? on: June 16, 2015, 09:30:45 PM
those guy wanna get the attention that bitcoin has ,and he is geting a bit of it atleast looks like why a person would try to face alone a comunity that isnt soo big and isnt so small

Yes and I think this article related to bitcoin is just an bullshit. They just want an attention from the society and they also want to distract the minds of the people who are actually willing to opt Bitcoin as a currency So they just want to divert the mindset of the people by publishing this useless article.
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MasterCard makes the case that it’s safer and faster than Bitcoin! LOL on: June 16, 2015, 09:27:55 PM
Governments will come in support of Bitcoins if the value of Bitcoins grow. Government is waiting for that day when the value of bitcoin grows and becomes more stable so they can collect taxes from the bitcoin accepting companies.

It's all about tax Grin

Yes it is all about tax. If the Governments are earning tax and if they find it profitable then would directly start supporting bitcoins and they will force the people of the country to start using bitcoin even if they are not aware about it and even if they are not willing to use it. I mean Government can do anything they can even impose a compulsion on the use of Bitcoins if they see profit out of it.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mastercard attacking Bitcoin on: June 16, 2015, 09:24:28 PM
I agree. Any attack on Bitcloin by MasterCard is good in my books. Bitcoin has so many advantages the credit card companies are on their way out. Interest rates are lower, and blockchain is only beginning to find more uses.

That is true that Bitcoin has many advantages over the master card But the main concern is Bitcoin still needs a time and support to get on the mainstream and that is only possible by the mass adoption and the awareness of the people around us. Once Bitcoins get on mainstream it would be difficult to stop it.

159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are 'very excited' said Bitpay on: June 16, 2015, 09:20:26 PM
I think this is rather bad for bitcoins. Blockchain is one of the most crucial technology of bitcoin. If banks employ the blockchain tech for their own transfers, they will probably not end up using bitcoin but will rather make a digital blockchain without the need for bitcoin which could be supported by something else just like account transfers. And once they bring this technology to the mainstream public business as well , they will just use something like mobile wallets to transfer money and the only advantage of bitcoin then would be the almost 0 fees and anonymity.

I don't think that as a part of Bitcoin Community we need a support from the banking system we are enjoying the success of holding bitcoins. No doubt many of them believe that Bitcoin is dead but its all about spreading the rumors and it would never affect the Bitcoin community who have blind trust on the Bitcoins.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Should you stay or should you go? on: June 16, 2015, 09:16:32 PM
bitcoin It's a revolutionary idea, but with no advertising or inside promotion of any sorts, coupled with complexity and bad media ideas, I think it will take longer to mainstream

No doubt it will take much more time to get into mainstream as bitcoin is facing a trouble from media and the government and that is the reason why some of the people are not showing their willingness to entertain the bitcoin as a currency and start using it as a mode of payment.
