Once more :

Poloniex delisted it ?

Thank you.
Poloniex has had Coin(O) delisted for months now. I am going to get us put back on the voting list or relisted altogether if possible. Thankyou for your continued knowledge of Coin(O) XZed. I will do what I can to affect changes. Coin(O) is in more places than I know of, but with our continued efforts things will all get on the right page. Smiley

I was here from the start, so I really want to keep it alive Smiley...

I'm trying to contact CCEDK.

Also consider updating : http://en.bitmakler.com/Coino___kriptovaluta

What about accept previous CCEDK's suggestion to add CoinO ?

It seems a great move...

I'm contacting Ronny. Then, I suggest bgade / smcardle / anyone "in charge" to deal with him.

Thank you.

I caught up with Steve (smcardle) recently... so I can share an update to his condition:

After his car accident things looked fairly good.  However, he sustained a fractured skull and over time the fracture became infected.  The infection was fairly serious and he has been hospitalized for some time.  However, he is getting better and currently doing physio, etc.

Overall, his doctors say it will be four to six weeks before he can return to work.  He does intend to return to Coino once he is able.

Wish him good recovery.

Hello,

I opened my Coino wallet unused since a few weeks.

Despite letting it opened a few hours, it never syncs (3/4 active connections only).

What can I do to resolve / update it ?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Close coino
Download wallet from coinocoin.com
Copy wallet.dat file somewhere.
Then delete all the other files and folders in the coino folder.
Put your wallet.dat file back.
Open coino-qt.exe (make sure this is the only file in the folder you extracted coino-qt.exe.zip into)
Away you go.

There really isn't anything else to do.
If it still doesn't work there is an issue with your computer/internet/you're not getting rid of all the files.

I'm happy to team view your PC if you want, catch me on irc or pm.
GL

Anyway : It just reached 5 active connections and synced Smiley ! Thank you Smiley

By the way, has someone noticed that original site... had gone ?
You can assume that the coin is now completely free from his old owners and waiting  new comers to give it attention.
Quick assumption Smiley ?

More importantly, we all have a better understanding of what makes this coin and others work, or fail.  There is no one magic thing that makes one coin better - hard work and a group is all it takes.  I've done work with other coins since I became involved here with Coino.  Some have done well, others have disappeared.  No single technical aspect really makes that happen - its more about the people.
According to you, what is Coino missing ?

Thank you.

Well, isn't the obvious? "The people" is what coino is missing.  Both current devs and community are not nearly dedicated enough or in this case, physically able enough. I'm afraid pretty much everyone who cared enough (supporters, investors, etc) left coino after the original dev disappeared months ago. Only some of us hopefuls were left.

Smcardle was a major force behind the revival of coino, but he unfortunately suffered an accident and was out for several weeks.  My guess about what happened is he came back and saw that the rest of the dev team and community did not stand up to move coino forward while he was gone, so he gave up. This is very understandable and it's definitely not his fault.

Basically, it's really too little too late for coino at this point IMO.  Even if another person like smcardle steps up, without a community to back that person up, not too much will happen in terms of progress.
It was obvious, indeed : I just wanted to find a new way / hope Smiley...

Bump.
Any luck with contacting either bgade or smcardle?

My previous actions :
- smcardle didn't answered me on LinkedIn.
- Coino devs never contacted CCEDK, according to CEO.

This is something simple I came up with after playing around with a free website designer:

http://trypsta7.wix.com/coino

As far as how to implement all of that onto the actual Coino website, I'll leave that up to those more knowledgeable than I. lol
Excellent initiative Smiley ! Hope it will refresh Coino's adventure....
