141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Is Bitcoin A Giant Ponzi Scheme?♨♨♨ on: December 13, 2017, 01:00:09 AM
The scariest part of bitcoin is that it is not a tangible asset and doesn't produce any revenues.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ☃☃☃ The .01 Theory ☃☃☃ on: December 13, 2017, 12:52:28 AM
It now cost more to send .001BTC than it is worth!!! That is crazy

How long until sending .01BTC cost more than .01BTC to send? Next week?

The fees are going to crush everyone holding less than .01BTC
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✈✈✈ How High Will Bitcoin Fees Get? ✈✈✈ on: December 13, 2017, 12:44:06 AM
This is scary for small investors...  Cry

It seems like all the small investors are going to get "wiped out". Because the fees to transfer such small amounts of $1-$50 worth of BTC is now becoming more than the actual bitcoin is worth. BTC is becoming more like a Western Union (high fees to transfer money) for criminals and a value storage for people with large amounts of BTC. But it is no longer a feasible currency for the millions of people who own small amounts and have supported the growth. It is quite sad to see
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ✨✨✨ Minimum Investment Size For BTC ✨✨✨ on: December 13, 2017, 12:29:56 AM
When I purchase ETFs or Stocks, I always use a minimum amount to essentially offset the brokerage fees. I don't want fees to become too significant compared to my holding size. So if there is commission fee of $10 and I buy $1000 worth of company xyz that becomes 1% fee. But if I buy $100 of the same stock and pay a commission of $10 that is a 10% fee.

I started to think about how much more this concept applies to BTC

And how rising fees are going to really hurt the small investors  Cry

If you were to buy bitcoin today at the current prices and fees, what do you think the minimum investment size should be.

I no longer see investments under 0.1BTC being that practical because of fees.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Top 10 Reasons To Sell Bitcoin Now ♨♨♨ on: December 13, 2017, 12:20:43 AM
Bitcoin was the first digital currency. But it most likely won't be the one to succeed.

Look at myspace vs facebook

I think the main reason to sell bitcoin is that the returns are already incredible. And the future is quite uncertain about which crypto will take over the market. More and more cryptos are being introduced each day. With bitcoin's fees becoming so high and the bubble approaching, it seems like the perfect time to cash in the majority of bitcoin profits.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✈✈✈ How High Will Bitcoin Fees Get? ✈✈✈ on: December 13, 2017, 12:13:02 AM
The rise in transaction fees is just ridiculous. I am pretty sure the fees are being increased just to deter bitcoin holders from selling. The fees were around $25 yesterday to send $100. And today the fees around $35! Wake up people, fees are going to continue to rise as prices rise. And since you need to pay the fees to send, it will start to cut into profits or at least represent some of the price rise.
147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✨✨✨ Are we wasting resources to make digital currencies? ✨✨✨ on: December 13, 2017, 12:06:47 AM
Keep in mind I am all about saving resources and energy.

I 100% agree that fiat money wastes resources too. But you all are REALLY missing the point

We had no choice but to waste resources on fiat money. It has to be minted, protected, maintained, changed out etc. Not to mention security and that stuff. We do have a choice when we move to a digital currency to waste as close to 0 resources as possible. Instead we are doing the exact opposite. The very nature of bitcoin requires us to WASTE more and MORE resources as it is made. We are exponentially wasting more resources on this. And its really sad.

This is in addition to resources we are already wasting on fiat!! I am upset about that too.

But now we are wasting resources on BOTH!

Do you guys not get it?  Cry
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / ☠☠☠ Andreas Antonopoulos, Bitcoin Messiah, is a Fraud ☠☠☠ on: December 13, 2017, 12:00:31 AM
Not only is he a fraud. But he is a confirmed globalist.

He was donated 150 BTC!!! All to waste he is using it on his debt and taxes

Some of the biggest supporters of bitcoin own 0 coins!!! And they have already cashed out into fiat. Like Max Keiser

Everyone is so caught up on the fact that fiat money is wasting a lot of resources too!

Well no shit!

Just because our current banking system is very wasteful doesn't mean we should continue down that path!

We still need to use fiat money to purchase bitcoin. Bitcoin is causing destruction of resources through mining and through the fact that fiat money is still required to purchase bitcoin. Digital currencies should have the benefit of not wasting resources. Can you imagine how much electricity we will waste to produce a single bitcoin in the year 2100?

The waste is just really pathetic and shows humanity's disregard for the planet in general. We are all destroying this world together
150  Economy / Speculation / ☃☃☃ The Most Important Question About Bitcoin ☃☃☃ on: December 12, 2017, 11:46:26 PM
Everyone is too focused on when to buy. Waiting for dips to enter into the market.

That is great, but the much more important question is:

When to sell bitcoin?

The timing on when to get out of bitcoin will be very hard to determine. What is your exit strategy? Will you risk everything and never cash out?
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Bitcoin Fees Are Outrageous ♨♨♨ on: December 12, 2017, 11:39:53 PM
Why are bitcoin transactions already getting clogged when only 1% of the world is using bitcoin?

Shouldn't bitcoin be able to handle more than 4 transactions per second? This seems very inefficient

I can't think of any solid reason to pay such absurd fees and wait such long times, unless doing illegal/sketchy purchases :/
152  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is bitcoin dangerous ? on: December 12, 2017, 11:31:00 PM
I would say crypto is very dangerous. Especially when it comes to price manipulation and the current bubble
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hooray! A happy ending for the rich people! :) on: December 12, 2017, 09:41:37 AM
Very well said. I think now is the perfect time to Sell Bitcoin
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Top 10 Reasons To Sell Bitcoin Now ♨♨♨ on: December 12, 2017, 09:34:39 AM
At this point the risk and fees are too high. I don't think the price of bitcoin can keep going up
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✈✈✈ How High Will Bitcoin Fees Get? ✈✈✈ on: December 12, 2017, 05:15:41 AM
I fear the fees will get so high that people will stop using bitcoin altogether
156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Top 10 Reasons To Sell Bitcoin Now ♨♨♨ on: December 12, 2017, 05:08:31 AM
What are your top reasons for selling bitcoin?
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Is Bitcoin A Giant Ponzi Scheme?♨♨♨ on: December 12, 2017, 04:40:29 AM
More and more people are saying it is a Ponzi Scheme each day.

Can still make a lot of money off them. But be careful you don't wait too long to cash out.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✨✨✨ Are we wasting resources to make digital currencies? ✨✨✨ on: December 12, 2017, 03:44:01 AM
How much $ USD has been spent on mining crypto and bitcoin?
159  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Top 10 Reasons To Sell Bitcoin Now ♨♨♨ on: December 12, 2017, 03:33:52 AM
Its smart to lock up the profits now and only risk a tiny % of your overall portfolio in bitcoin
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ♨♨♨ Is Bitcoin A Giant Ponzi Scheme?♨♨♨ on: December 12, 2017, 03:19:47 AM
HODL is not a proper strategy. At some point you have to sell in order to collect

Theres plenty of money to be made off the Ponzi Scheme. But when people stop buying into it, the prices will fall.
